My landline had gone dead and was making a strange intermittent sound. I was offered advice by Ask-Crew and I was very sceptical about it - but the adviser persisted and was very thorough and patient, I was advised turn the modem off and on again and I lost contact with the advisor so was unable to thank him for his help - the phone is now working properly and I am very grateful

I have to say that I was skeptical about using an online agent to try and figure out my problem but Sandra V walked me through it step by step and when one thing wouldn't work she had another option until it was resolved. I highly recommend giving this company a try if you are like me, running into brick walls and having no idea what to do next. As an Octogenarian stroke sufferer who relies on my computer but is not computer literate, when I got my new Laptop and Windows 10 was on its way out, it had Windows 11 on it. I was already fed up with all the upgrades I had suffered, especially as I did not want them but had no real choice, so I dreaded having to use something new. This was justified as the old press file and print to print did not work but gave me a message I could not understand. With all my difficulties and several failures I eventually contacted Nick B at Microsoft Help who was absolutely brilliant, patient and understanding and whilst, because of my fear and lack of skill in being able to do what was necessary myself, we were not at that time able to resolve my problem, Nick did come up with a solution I am now putting into effect. Thus none of you should have any fear in contacting Microsoft Help for assistance - they are great!
