I had always been suspicious of my husband who would never answer direct questions about other women. He told me repeatedly that I was paranoid and that he'd never crossed the line. I discovered multiple e-mail trails between my husband and women from affair dating sites (the ones he's been using were ashleymadison.com and nostringsaffairs.com). He had invited one of them to go out hours after he told me that doesn't cheat on me. They had been flirtatious for a month.

My world fell apart. I was utterly distraught. He was my world – my friend, my only lover – and he has completely betrayed and hurt me to a degree beyond my comprehension.

You people cheating behind your spouse's back are noting more than sinners that will burn in Hell for turing their back on God and The Bible!
Stay away of these sites!

I joined AM after seeing an online advert claiming that there were women in my area looking for an affair. I joined and everything looked good n positive so I paid. Ive not had many replies yet and the only woman who seems interested in meeting up is over 60km away. Im trying Nostringsaffair.com to and having a bit more luck thank god, as I wouldnt be happy if I was getting nowhere for two subscriptions! If things dont improve on AM ill probably call it quits but hopefully things improve soon, trying to give it the benefit of the doubt as its a nice site.

I agree with Justin T: Some smaller sites, like Saphrina, (maybe NoStrngsAffairs - even though I have not tried them yet) may be much better than AM. Controversial sites like AM polarize, especially with their provocative spots.

After all, AM is one of the best sites still. Be aware that it may be more expensive. On the other hand they offer a large member base but with a bad male-female-ratio).

Some AFF sites may work as well, but you will also find many fake profiles on there.

My opinion: I was most "happy" on Saphrina, but I did not feel uncomfortable on AM. AFF worked as well, but thta was a while ago.

Ashley Madison is the world's best known extra-marital affairs website. Most of its users are from Canada, USA and UK.
Sadly though it has recently been revealed that the site was hacked and millions of its members' details released publicly. Those members are rightly now concerned about their privacy.
To be honest, I always had an inclination that this may happen one day. I never really felt entirely safe using such a huge, popular site.

I personally prefer using smaller sites to find someone to have a discrete affair with. I just have a feeling that this kind of site is not such a significant target for hackers, willing to disclose someone's personal details. I tried quite a few of them and the one I really like was NoStringsAffair.com. There are plenty of members in my area and I had sex with a gorgeous woman I met on the site already! We have had our first date in a restaurant to get to know each other a little bit, but when we met up the second time we booked a room in a hotel and had the most amazing night;)

The great thing about NoStringsAffair.com is the 'no strings' aspect. We continued to have an affair and both of us were cool about it staying that way. We would just meet up and have sex together and no obligation to turn it into a serious relationship. Would recommend it.

I agree with many reviewers that sites like Saphrina may be better for men, because they are not as expensive as AM.

But for women AM is simply the best site. Women use AM for free and there are many men to chose from. Maybe too many because it gets very annoying to receive like 200 messages a day.

After all, I agree that AM may not be a perfect solution for men but for women it sure is!

I have been on the site a short time. So far, nothing but disappointment. First girl I contacted on profile said she lived in same city as me. Wrong, she lives in Rusdia, scammer alert!
Second girl was interested in me to promote a cam site and third girl said she wants 500 dollars to meet for sex. Expensive to start as well, expect to pay almost 70 bucks to get credits and fee, will use my credits, move on and keep searching for legit site!

Don't send Wink, the women got them in another Inbox that they don't even go to... because it's like a Trash Can... Even the message system will get you pay so much that after a few days you won't have any credits and i will have cost you a lot...

Also if your a member never ever drop your credit below 5... if you go to 0 you won't be enable to read your old message and navigate properly in the site...

I've created a Women profile to understand why women never answer...! Go for it you will understand quickly...

After you joined the site as new user without any credit, you will got a lot of collect message required credit to read. But after you bought some credits, no chicks will send you any wink or message.

Even you use credit to message someone, they will ask you to chat on another website that required to buy credit, or register some kind of hookup ID which is require input your credit card information but the site is not SSL encrypted.

Fake fembot all over on the site.

I got 2 fembot asking to pay to another friend site for chat, another 2 asking me to register "SSID" or some kind of passes.

I am a married man looking for some excitement. I decided to create a profile using true facts about myself, nothing dirty Nd no dirty pictures. After hearing about the hack of AM information last August I decided to pay for credots on the site by exchanging a major retailers gift card. This method of payment buys you less credits then if you used your personal credit card but there is no personal information stored in AM data base. Most of the profiles are not real, the replies that you do get only want you to use your credits then you never hear back from the person. I only spent $100 which got me 230 credits but my advise to all the married guys looking to fool around is to save your money, AM is a scam.

I used this site a few years ago and the ratio of men: women was something like 20:1, but since the site was hacked it appears that the ratio is now closer to 50:1. What is worse, the women who are using the site now seem to mostly have been attracted by media reports and want to just chat and look at photos of men without actually meeting. That is, of course, unless they happen to find someone unbelievably good looking on there, in which case they might be tempted. But generally there just don't seem to be enough genuine women on there any more to make the site worth joining. The two genuine women with whom I spoke most recently on the site complained that they log on and they are receiving 50+ messages per day, an impossible number to read, and so they tend to delete most or all and only read a couple. Pretty poor odds for the guys... UPDATE: Well after perservering and chatting with more women I have been on a couple of dates and discovered that there are even more men on the site than I previously thought, so it might be closer to 100:1 men: women! It seems that there simply aren't enough women to go around. One lady that I met for a coffee (she had been on the site for less than 24 hours) had already lined up another five dates for the week and her inbox was completely overflowing with messages. A great site for women but pretty rubbish for men. Oh, and quite a lot of the women seem to want payment in either cash or gifts! Most recently I chatted with a local lady who will have sex in exchange for a new pair of shoes. The more expensive the shoes, the more of her she will, er, open up for you...

You don't hear much about AM anymore after the hack. Just hope that other (good) affair sites like Saphrina, VM, and so on learned their lesson and invest some extra $ on security. It is a shame that basically good sites (don't care what all the other unsatisfied men review) struggles d/t soem criminals taking down the site.

Unless AM recovers I would use the alternative affair websites (saphrina, vm, maybe some aff sites as well) but I seriously hope that AM will have a "comeback" soon. After all it is a great site!

Why do you not interview women before placing theme on your site.
I Had a 9 month "relationship" with a woman on Anastasia Date that presumably was searching for her ' soul mate". Nothing could be farther from the truth.

She talks men out of getting a hotel and has them use a chosen apartment she has set up for them where they can be alone. But she is never alone with you.

Constantly at her side is an interpreter ( even though you may speak intermediate Russian as I do) or her realtor.The apartment is 4 stories up in an old building with no elevator and she charges you probably nine times the going rate. She makes her money off the unfortunate men by skimming off the apartment, taxis ( she never uses her car) restaurants (she has a deal with) and gets a cut off the interpreter. She refuses to be touched, even hold hands, and is constantly wrapped up like a mummy.

Beware of this woman. You easily catch her in lies and you fly back out of town like I did after only the second day.
