The overall reputation of Ashley Madison is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to the prevalence of fake profiles and perceived scams. Many users express frustration over the high costs associated with the platform, which they feel exploit their desire for genuine connections. While some customers report occasional success in meeting partners, the overwhelming sentiment is negative, highlighting concerns about financial exploitation and inadequate customer support. Despite its established brand presence, the company struggles to address these critical issues, leading to a lack of trust and a recommendation to avoid the service.

Payed a $49 membership fee. All my money was used up sending 5 emails to members. The default method of contacting people costs about $10 per message. They don't tell you that upfront. The same day I received an email telling me my funds were exhausted and I needed to buy more credits. Beware. This is scam dating site. I thought because Ashley Madison is based in Canada it was reputable. Not so!
Don't throw away your money by signing up. The site carefully designed into getting you to pay so you can message profiles that show interest in receiving your message. As soon as you respond, you get charged for messaging a fake profile. Been on it for over a year with no luck. Just trying to use up my credits for now. I had paid far less for Bumble, OKC, Tinder, Hinge and had awesome dates. I recommend use those sites instead of this scam.
Total scam site, young hot pictures of, well, who knows but I started receiving messages from girls saying that they're in town visiting their cousin, "oh yeah great, what part of town are you in?" that's the end of that scammer. Another major problem is all the review sites giving them 5 stars, yep, they're scam sites too. Any review site giving for example, ‘Be Naughty' 5 stars, is a scam site as well. B N is one of the worst scam sites ever.
This site claims to have the best response site, and to connect you with real people looking for affairs. After joining and reaching out to several members the first 2 weeks or so, I received some messages. Then after trying to further those conversations, it became apparent that the "person" wasn't real or was an avatar posing for the real person in the photo! They don't answer your questions, they don't acknowledge what you're saying; and if you actually read the "terms and conditions" when you join; THEY ADMIT THEY USE FAKE OR ROBOTIC ACTORS TO ENGAGE YOU, FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES! What a croc of $#*!! I'm so tired of fake dating sites! God! Don't waste your money!
Ashley Madison, like other dating websites, give women all the power in initiating dialogue. There is a massive problem with that. That's not their role. They have no SKILL in that area. Pursuing and initiating is MEN'S job. It's how we got here as a species. WE are the hunters. WE are the ones that pursue. We spend our ENTIRE LIVES working on our swag, personality and charm. Women on the other hand, never HAVE to work on their ‘getting' skills because THEIR getting skill is their beauty. They never HAVE to work on ‘picking up guys' because that's not their existence. So then. What happens when you reverse our nature roles that have been embedded into our DNA (on a virtual format to boot) and give the creatures that don't know how to initiate. The power of to initiate? Exactly what you'd expect. It sucks. Women lack the skills to take the initiative because it's not in their nature to do that! They don't know how! And if they are being honest, they don't WANT to be in charge of the process. Women don't want to win, they want a winner.
All that to say, I just wish these dating sites would consider the numbers. That there are more women born than men on average and there are far more women available than eligible bachelors. High quality men ARE the rare commodity. And the fact that WE are the ones that have to pay to play on these sites is completely $#*!-backwards and mind-boggling. If anyone should be paying to play on these dating sites. It should be women.
-That is all, cheers
Exactly that... April 27 2021
Cost me 120$ in "credits"to message 5 girls and every message needs credits to reply as well
FREE for girls tho and they also PHISH you in spending more credits
Not worth it for me but make your decision there are other sites
Are all the women in the world so high on themselves they think their better than every guy? I have had an account active for almost a year now. I'm a middle aged man recently separated looking to see what's out there. You read the profiles of the women on there and they all talk about how laid back and fun to be with they are. Open to conversation bla bla bla. So you send a like or wave to someone and wait. 99% of the women on pretty much all the dating sites don't even have the decency to reply to any type of messages or likes. It really doesn't get any more rude or disrespectful. Women if your reading this give your head a shake.
I totally agree with the postings here. The "credit" system is nothing more than a scam to pay for everything. The secret one is the same. Why should I pay to know if they read my email? Really? Sites like these need to be monitored or shut down and money refunded.
Spending almost 5 months on AM yielded no contacts at all! Not to mention the cost factor! I found the women i made contact with would delete the profile within a day or two. This raised the suspicion the profiles were either fake or being controlled. So i cancelled my profile deleted it for good! Accidentally the I found that member initiated fee of 29.00 was being deducted after i turned it off and verified it was off several times! Totally unbelievable! This is a scam site in my opinion, I'm sorry but I don't see much being real on this site.
My Ashley Madison review.
It's more expensive to start then any other dating site that I'm aware of. In reality if it lived up to it's advertisement it would be no big deal. You'll find a bunch of fake profiles you know this because they want you to send them a picture and message and that is exactly what you get charge for nothing else. There's not very many profiles within 100 mile radius in the Atlanta area with pictures and like I said the ones that are are fake. I would not recommend this site to anyone and will never give them a penny of my money again. Hope this helps you before you waste your money.
This site is a total rip off bunch of bots and you constantly have to buy credits in order to message people or read their messages. Don't waste your money!
$10 per text msg. Then she replies coyly asking for more costly texts. A never ending exchange of expensive text exchanges.
I actually found one of these women in real life. She had no interest in contact outside of the expensive website. Even though on the website replies she was utterly smitten by me!
I think women get some monetary inscentive to keep men coming back by dangling the empty illusion of a possible hookup.
This is how Ashley madison makes money: Like a peep show pimp.
Has anyone actually gotten laid off of this bogus site?
Very sneaky with hidden fees and charging your account. Guys have to pay to message to women who often then not do not respond. Cant recommend
Scam site. Most women's posts do not contain photos, and many of the photos are fake anyway. The site won't allow copying an image, or I'd show you some classic fakery. Men outnumber women by a huge margin. And many of the women live out in the boondocks.
I have been with Ashley Madison for quite some time now.
I have met not one woman yet.
Plenty of conversations that go absolutely nowhere.
This site is so riddled with fake profiles it's not even funny.
So many Fake profiles it's ridiculous I would never join this site again.
Be careful gentleman
I was able to meet with one women out of endless amount of AM scammers. Went on a date. Now she is blackmailing me and I'm really mad. I deeply regret getting involved with AshleyMadison women. It's not a safe site and it's full of all types of scammers.
I decided t check out AM about a week ago and quickly discovered the scam. Every time I "favorited" a profile I would receive a message from the profile "collect". In other words I had to pay to read it. Just to verify, I set up a profile, and favorited it on my other profile. Sure enough... I received a collect message about a day later.
Anytime you write something in your profile their bots or stooges come along and erase it. They want you to pay for messages that may or may not even be from real people. They probably have fake accounts with fake people trigging messages just to get people to purchase "credits", holding them hostage until you pay, taking advantage of those lonely and looking for companionship. Hopefully they will change their ways or just go out of business for they are doing no one any good.
I have been using this site for a year and they just randomly suspended me for no reason. I don't know if someone reported me or what. AM can also tell I am not soliciting as they can read my messages! I am just picky because I am attractive and most men are gross and out of shape. So I do block a lot of profiles and don't respond to messages but my profile said don't message me if you are not attractive! Also my blurred pic is attractive as most guys messaging me say as much. Anyway, I emailed AM several times and asked why they suspended me but they haven't responded. Anyway just wanted to let the men on here complaining about bots know that AM suspends real accounts!
Answer: Guys, it should not be so complicated to reach out to a girl for a hook up! You can find thousands of them on https://j4l.com/402007 They will contact you themselves, you don't have to put in any efforts if you want to have some fun time online. Or you just need to travel to them but it will be very rewarding, exciting and, what's essential, safe and SECRET experience!
Answer: Cops won't entrap you on AshleyMadison, they don't care. But you wife probably does. Often, she is worse than cops! Lol It's impossible to stay anonymous on AM - it's a well-known site. If you want to keep your affair secret, look for a safer platform, e.g. http://J4Love.net I had two affairs through their service. It was safe, private, unknown to the world and tremendously hot!
Answer: Kind of expensive because they charge by credits. There are cheaper solutions (vm, saphrina, some aff sites)...
Answer: Well, basically you purchase credits and you spend them every time you message someone...
Answer: This site is free for women, which i believe is a big problem. That is why many "professionals" join and try to make you join other sites, cam sites, etc. On sites like vm, saphrina, etc women usually pay as well which is good for the quality of the female profiles. But i guess if you are a woman you should rather join AM.
Answer: The question shouldn't be is it real, but is it worth it. If even one man/woman managed to have an actual affair through Ashley Madison, you could say that it's real. If for every 1 real affair/hookup there are 100's or 1000's of fake users to slog through all the while you're giving them your hard earned money... does that sound like it's worth it?
Answer: If it walks like a duck, and sounds like a duck what is it? Going to church has gotten people laid more than Ashley Madison.
Answer: Bill, this website is not owned by Ashley Madison. If you need to contact them you can call their toll free number 1-866-742-2218. Good luck!
