After the site got hacked in 2016, it went to garbage. There are more bots now and it's like 7 credits to send one message and most users never respond.

I joined and found that to meet anyone, you need a security pass... explained to me by a prospective partner who i believe was a website stooge. When you apply for a security pass, which costs $10, you have to complete a 3 stage verification process. At each stage you give your cc details, and are signed up to an affiliated site, plus 2 free sites which revert to full time membership. This happens 3 times with the promise of a refund at the end. Bullcrap... When I asked for a $65.36 refund for being signed up unknowingly, I argued for 3 days with about 12 email requests. Eventually I was told I would get a refund, but enter your card for a refund and you are signed up to more sites and your CC is rejected... bank error.
So I have filed for fraudulent activity and have had to cancel my CC... STAY AWAY THESE guys ARE SCAMMERS, DISHONEST and TRICKSTERS...

If you want to keep your affair secret AdultsFun.club is a better option. It's safer because it's not so well-known and they control their platform: they ban dodgy users so scammers don't run rampant there like they do on AshleyMadison. AshleyMadison is full of scammers and it's very unsafe. You can have people stalking you, requesting money, exposing your correspondence, ruining your reputation. I learned my fair share of lessons: I was blackmailed and this scammer nearly ruined my family.
If you want an affair - AshleyMadison is the wrong place. It's a money scam!
AM managers are greedy. I think they are up to their necks in this scam, otherwise I don't know why they never ban profiles of blackmailers and money hungry scammers. All my reports were ignored. All scammers are still there "working" with their new victims preying on their money.

What a joke this site is! They charge way too much for credits which you need to see, answer or send messages. When you send free winks you get these fake generic responses telling you to "please send a message and picture since I get too many winks to respond" The sad part is that I had clear public pictures on my profile so it was absolutely clear that these were simply scams getting you to use up your credits so you would have to by more. Besides this, the site is full of trolls looking for sugar daddy's and money or scammers from other sites trying to get you to join their dating/sex sites. If you are falling for this fake $#*! then you are a fool and you deserve what you get.

I wrote a previous review where women who are not looking for Asian men but still sending me messages when my profile says I'm Asian. Now I have a guy who accidentally entered single female looking for males on his profile sending me messages. It looks like the website might be auto sending random matches. I did get a request from a young lady and both shared our photos but nothing since.

So in my drunken stupor I signed up to Ashley Madison. I did not pay for the site. All of a sudden I got about 25 emails from women wanting to talk to me. So I decided to sign up spend $70 And you buy 100 credits which allowed me to send three emails. I'm out of credits and I deleted my account. Because the women that wanted to talk to me weren't there when I try to reach out to them. So Ashley Madison pumps fake profiles to your non-purchased account to try to get you to sign up. Very disappointed. Learn my lesson once again

There are most of fake profile on this site, I think the are made by these guys to take the money as per email writing.
They don't want to force the other profile to reply when writer use his credit to write them. Many times as soon as you write female block you so you can't keep accounting for your lost credit.

Very bad marketing practice, Don't waste you money here, This site is very dishonest. I join it by thinking that since it es so expensive, may be here better luck to find some one genuine. But actually i was wrong and the site is rip off.

Don't believe the hype! This is not the place! Too many fake profiles - you end up spending money on credits to communicate just to find out a little later these are just fake profiles - catphishers that want you to sign up with a social networking site so you can communicate in secret with your newfound ladies, or Ashley Madison employes that want you to burn your credits? These girls will chat with you, but obviously have never taken the time to read your profile. And they will not share much about themselves, neither in their profile nor in their answers. Shame Shame Shame on you Ashley Madison!

First of they want you to but credits to send message once you end up as sucker paying for it they somehow up sale you at the check out in a sneaky way,
So there's that and after you did and you get some interest and excitement,
All the "girls" want you to go to a verification link and put in your details and credit info. (they claim it's a security screening)
It's BS and if you give your card information they will try to charge you fraudulent charges right away,
In my opinion stay away,
There are good dating apps where you can meet people without paying or if you want more exposure etc...
You can choose to pay.

I signed up for this site believing it was a elite sight. I was immediately greeted by much younger women all claiming to be temporarily working in my town. In short order I realized it was a scam and deleted them and reported the profiles. They just kept coming. Likewise, my credits disappeared much faster than the advertised rate. I'm currently trying to undo the harm and clean out my inbox. Unbelievable that they continue to do this so blatantly..

I made the mistake of joining Ashley Madison after seeing a positive reviews. Those reviews were B. S.
I have been contacted by 2 types of profiles on AM. I is the fake profile designed to get you to send messages at about 10$ a message. The other is somebody who will either ask you to pay to join another site for verification purposes, or try to get you to video chat with them on another app so they can try to extort you. I went along with these users to see where it would go.
