Do not buy from Ashley Homestore. Absolute nightmare in delivery. We ordered in the store on Sept 6th, 2021. The sales rep told us with confidence there would be a delay but would arrive by end of October 2021 at the latest. Now the store is telling me it's on backorder and showing arrival at the warehouse on April 22,2022!
While there maybe supplychain issues, this 6 month delay is unacceptable on top of the 2 month waiting period they initially shared.
They should provide monetary compensation for this to drive customer loyalty instead of losing customers and future customers that may read this and realize they don't want to wait 6-8 months to enjoy something they purchased.

We bought a couch from Ashley's in February 2021. We received the couch at the end of April 2021. The couch wasn't made properly and the frame broke when one of us sat on it in July 2021. After calling Ashley's, they scheduled a couch technician to come out for the end of august. He said the couch wasn't made properly and showed us where the frame should have been supported/where it broke and said that it was UNSAFE for us to be sitting on this couch at all. Ashley's then said they would have to order parts for the couch to be fixed and the soonest appointment available was October 2,2021. So we paid almost 1000$ to have a brand couch for 3 months before it completely broke, rendering it a safety hazard and completely unusable from July to October. Ashley's said they would again- order new parts and send a couch technician to fix the couch for a third time. We have already had a dysfunctional and UNSAFE couch sitting in our home for going on 3-4 months and Ashley's has just kept "ordering parts" and rescheduling a couch technician to come "fix it" even though the couch technician said it's not fixable. How long do we have to wait for a brand new couch to be fixed? MONTHS long wait times for something we paid nearly 1000$ for Is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Even more unacceptable is that it is a safety hazard. The reason my partner and I bought a couch from Ashley's is because we thought it would be a reputable safe place to spend our very hard earned money. Absolutely ridiculous.
The gentleman that arrived was very nice. He took all the Covid precautions before entering and was quiet and professional. He assembled the desk and surprisingly he cleaned everything up, swept, and wiped the floor and area he worked. He was a pleasure.
In October and November 2019 we purchased several pieces of furniture from Ashley Homestore in Brookfield Connecticut. We also bought the extended warranty for $500. May 2021 we called montage, the warranty company only to find out that our plan was never registered by Ashley home store. Of course Ashley HomeStore told us it was registered and after several phone calls and an email i have an email from Jeff the manager of the Brookfield store stating that they did not register our warranty. They do this in hopes that you will not file a claim and they keep the money. This is a scam.
It is a Fraudulent Business Practice, it is illegal it is criminal
Barstools was in my home for 2 weeks when two of them broke because they was put together wrong. Ashley furniture sent someone out to look at product and they ordered parts. Sent someone else out to fix them and they sent out wrong parts. My child was hurt when they broke. They still are broken and I'm still trying to get it resolved after a month later. So much for their warranty
Purchase the Lettner Bed on-line. It did take right at 5 months to arrive. Website did say it was on backorder for that timeframe and they were right. Called several times to check on the status and the wait time was horrible to finally get a person to talk too. The kicker is when the delivery person showed up... he handed us piece by piece of the bed. Nothing was packaged up, it was all loose pieces of the bed. Come on, who delivers 'new' furniture like that? Guy from delivery company said that is how he got it from the warehouse. What the heck? Are we out of cardboard and packing supplies in the US?
Honestly I wouldn't even give them a star, we ordered our couch in June. They told us 4-8 weeks which is fine, if that would be true. Then they told us august 5 and guess what…nobody even called or messaged us till we called them and asked where the couch was. Then they escalated it to the manager and gave us new dates, that they missed again. After that they called us and said September 9th. We already planned a vacation on that day so we gave them number of our friend who will be at our place waiting for the couch. The day comes they never called our friend to deliver the couch. Now all of the sudden the couch is gone and they have to make a new one. They are throwing us different dates and talking about November, then December and it keeps changing. Please think twice before ordering from them. We might need to take them to court. It's been 4 months and we still sit on the floor.
CAN'T HIND OUT $#*! ABOUT MY ORDER, THATS A MONTH LATE. HAPPENED LAST TIME AS WELL. YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE TO TALK TO SOMEONE. I'M TIRED OF THIS
Today we went to Ashley orange store. Everything was going well. They guy their was nicely showing the sofas. Suddenly their lady manager came and started asking us about requirements etc. She asked our jobs etc which I know is a salesman tactics to know earning so she can decide price. She told us the quote which was not very exciting. I just told that we want to check on some other stores too which was a reasonable thing but then she shouted on m. She said" yes go now you can go there is the door. Just go out and check. No one is stopping you. Right now go out. " I mean I was surprised. Is this the way you talk to your customer. That too when you are so called manager. She was so rude so harsh. I haven't met such type of rude lady in my entire life. She does not have any skills how to talk to the customers. She should be fired soon from the store or else they will not have any customers coming to their store. I am never ever goin to that Ashley in Orange. Neither I will recommend anyone. This was the horrible experience and all my excitement was gone. She is so impolite and uncivil. She should have training on how to attend customers and how to talk to them politely. So unethical.
BEWARE. Do NOT do business with this company. Ordered furniture online that took 5 months to arrive and when it did arrive they only had half of my sectional and had no idea when the other half would come in and one of the dressers was broke. Costumer service hung up on me 3 times and I was given the run around only for them to tell me it was non refundable. I am very UNHAPPY with this store. Costumer service is no good and the furniture is cheap quality. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else
I have been trying for 2 years to have a leather couch repaired which has some strange stains that just popped up and stitching coming out. I purchased the extending warranty on my furniture to cover things like this. I had someone from the warranty come to inspect the couch and told my wife and I it was a manufacturing defect and he would let his home office be aware of this. About 3 weeks later the home office called and said that the manufacture warranty is 1 year and it has run out and there is nothing they could do. What, that is why I purchased the extended warranty? I spoke with a lady from Ashley Furniture, and she emailed me letting me know that she would have it taken care of but it will take a little while, 2 years, I still have her email she sent me and email address. Tried to contact her about 3 times with no response from her. Would not purchase anything again from Ashley Home Store nor would I recommend it to do business with.
I have ordered a sofa, love seat, entertainment center, coffee and end tables, and side table in March. Have received the coffee and end tables but nothing since then. Ordered March 12th and was told delivery was in August and September. Now being told it won't be till December. I have since canceled my order and waiting for a confirmation email. Website is now advising 8-14 weeks but don't hold your breath. I was pushed back to 9 months before I decided to cancel. My patience has ran out.
We saw a great deal on a couch in an ad. When we got to the store, the manager would not honor the ad, saying it was a mistake. We even found more copies of the ad in the front of the store.
Ordered in March 2021 received 1 of 5 items in September 2021 with NO expected delivery date for the remainder of the order
I ordered living room furniture and bedroom furniture. It needed to be delivered in 3 deliveries, no problem. I was told the TV stand I would have to assemble myself and it would come UPS/FedEx. Again, no problem. The delivery came for a coffee table and the delivery guy said, they did not pre-assemble the table and he could not complete it for me. He called the warehouse and she apologized saying they will send other table out to me ready to go. I took another day off and they arrived saying I it is a client assemble item. Why did they take it back then. I asked for a manager to be told non where available. Not sure what I paid all the delivery money for if they just leave a box of parts for me to put together. The customer service girl was rude and should really look for a new career as customer service is not her strong point.
On 05/16/2021 I ordered a table and chairs form the local store in Florence, Alabama. The sales person was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were told that it shouldn't take but about 4 weeks to get our order. Today is 08/30/2021 16 weeks later. We have called the store were told the salesperson that sold us the table wasn't in and that they would be in touch with us. We have called them back several times with the same runaround saying computer was down or they couldn't find our order. They have never called us back with an explanation. I will never set foot in this store again!
BEWARE they do not stand behind their product. I bought 2! Of the Ballinasloe sectionals. On one the corner of my couch kept sinking in. It was a VERY obvious difference to the rest of the seats. After several calls and a lot of runaround came and "fixed" it. It still sank in and I called, the Manager said they would do NOTHING. Debi Kurtz-Noblesville Indiana
We were shopping for a new reclining sofa, so we went to Ashley Home Store. The salesman helping us showed us a few sofas, and my wife picked chose one she thought to be comfortable enough. We ended up paying over $2400. For the sofa, and had to wait a week to have it delivered. The day it was delivered, we found it to be VERY uncomfortable to both sit and recline in it. It had lumbar support, but that just made the back pain even worse.
We went back to the store the day it was delivered, and spoke to the salesman who sold it to us. We were told we would not only have to pay a 25% restock fee, but also have to pay $50 for the delivery guys to come back to the house to get it.
We received a call from the warehouse a few hours after it was delivered saying it would be 5 days for them to come back and get it. We don't live out of town... in fact we are in N. Medford (not far from the store).
The ONLY guarantee Ashley has is to NOT return all of your money if you're not completely satisfied.
So, to summarize... a week to deliver it, having to wait another 5 days for them to come and pick it up. Plus pay $500 in restock fees and another $50 to have it picked up to return it.
Stay away from Ashley Home Store if you don't want to lose money.
Buyers watch the price the quote you, is the price they charge you. They overcharge, add extras. Watch delivery, they ship different item, and if you don't complain in 72 hours they turn their back.
