Empty promises = Empty room!
March 23, 2022

I ordered 2 accent chairs and an accent table in my local store on 1/7/22. They set up delivery for the chairs on 1/12/22. They did advise that the table was on order until April. I decided to go ahead and get the table even though it meant waiting 3 months. On January 12th they delivered the WRONG chairs. I called customer service and the hold times were really long - it said I was 875 in queue. I decided to go back to the store. They were able to see what happened and place the order for the correct chairs. They advised it would be February. I agreed. They said we could keep the incorrect chairs until the new ones came. I got a delivery alert for 2/8/22. Turns out this wasn't a delivery at all. It was Ashley Furniture picking up my chairs leaving my room empty. After calling Ashely Furniture I was told they new chairs would arrive in March. I later got a delivery date of March 23rd. I confirmed the delivery. I waited home all morning. I called Ashley furniture in the afternoon. They said the chairs would not be delivered until April 16th. I asked why I got the delivery alert for today. The representative said "I don't know". Well that's not helpful. I waited home for nothing. They also informed me that my table is now showing it won't be in the warehouse until July! So after spending $1000 in January I still have an empty room in March. Had I known it would take this long up front I would not have cleared out the room. I cleared out the room for that initial delivery back in January. Lesson learned. Do not buy from Ashley furniture in the future. They will mess up your order and leave you with NOTHING except an empty wallet. They charged me a delivery fee too even though there is no way to pick up the order. Only option is for them to deliver it.

Pushy sales, empty promises
March 22, 2022

On February 25,2022 I ordered a table and barstools. I was promised it would be delivered by March 21,2022. I checked on March 22,2022 and was told it would be another 2 months. I requested to have the order cancelled. I had to keep calling back and had a hard time getting this taken care of. I finally managed to get someone to start the process amd was told there wad a cancellation fee. I told her I would not pay any such fee and she told me it was not up to her.
Not impressed.

First off let me start by saying my wife and I really like Ashley furniture and by no means is this a bad review on Ashley furniture. This is about 1 particular assistant manager named Coco Simpson at the Houston outlet location, this store not only sales the showroom furniture but also sales new furniture as well. My wife and I walked in one day looking for a couch for our new home, we found 1 we liked sat in it did the normal let's see how this feels and how it fits us, we like it let's buy it. Coco Simpson walks up being chipper and in sales mode, we ask the price keep in mind this is a 5 piece set with an ottoman as the 6th piece. Coco tells us the price is 1649. 99 for the 6 pieces, but she then tells us the pieces just sold to the people walking away, ok no problem, she then tells us she has a brand new set in the Warehouse for the same price, ok perfect we will take it. Coco leaves, comes back a few minutes later telling us she misquoted not only us but the buyers that bought the showroom pieces, but that she would honor the price she gave as it was her misquote. We agree take the price and make our purchase, we did tell her we were about a month away from moving into our home and that we did not have a storage unit, she told us it was no big deal and the pieces were in the warehouse so it could remain there until we were ready to pick the items up. We finish the purchase and go on about our lives, only to start getting calls from Coco about a week and half later stating rather rudley that the couch needed to be picked up or she would sale it, so March 17th rolls around, we purchase a storage unit and attempt to call Ms. Simspson several times only to be texted back saying it was her day off and she was busy, well common sense would tell you if you do not want to be bothered on your day off do not put your mobile number on your business card, am I right? So I get to the warehouse, give the warehouse lady our purchase receipt, and then proceed to over hear her say something about 3 pieces are new, and 3 pieces are in the showroom. I do reiterate to her that we purchased all new pieces and they were all to be stored in the warehouse, however it fell on deaf ears which I totally understand as they just deliver the goods, not upset with the warehouse crew they were more than helpful. The warehouse worker says let's just pull everything so you can take a look, which I agreed. They bring the new pieces, perfect so far so good. They bring the 3 remaining pieces from the showroom and we'll needless to say this was a show stopper, big NOPE! The 2 chair pieces were slightly off color, and had stains on them along with piling on the cushions from what appeared to be shoes rubbing the cushions, the ottoman was a completely different color, like bright white did Ms. Coco really think that would go unseen and honestly who in their right mind would pay almost 1800 for garbage like that? I then proceed to call Ms. Coca to no avail, then just decided to text her saying what we got was not what we agreed to and purchased from her, I got a response several minutes later stating we were told upon purchase that these items were all clearance this is why we got it for 1649. 99, which is a complete lie. I go back to we were misquoted and this is why we got 6 pieces for that price. I also go back to who in their right mind would pay almost 1800 for garbage? So to sum it up we did not accept delivery of the couch, and Coco Simpson not ever once answering the phone, to provide a way to make this right or any type of customer service. Ashley needs to demote Ms. Coco Simpson and re-train and or have her work in the Warehouse and promote the gentlemen that actually tried to help.

Awful costumer service
March 21, 2022

Ashley Furniture home store has awful customer service on the phone, and at the store, a least the store here at 4865 Auto Plaza Ct. CA. For over five months, I have been battling with this awful company. They have delayed deliveries and poor quality products: missed deliveries and horrendous customer service. I have been struggling with this for over five months, and until today, they haven't given me a solution to the damaged sofa I purchased. Also, on top of that, they made me waste my time and money. I didn't go to work because I was waiting for them to do delivery as they promised. So the only thing you will get from this company is stress and frustration—Ashley home furniture is the Worts store company to buy furniture.

Furniture
March 16, 2022

I bought reclining sofa in November. They dropped it, then claimed it was fine. By March it no longer reclined. Called for a repair they sent the part. It took 3 weeks. Still waiting on them to fix it.
Don't buy from them. They don't back their warranties. Horrible customer service.

Sofa Pillows started fraying at 6 months
March 13, 2022

I purchased a sectional and chair Aug 20, it was delivered about Nov 11 2020. After 6 month the pillows started fraying and I sewed the up. The fabric appears to be too loose. After 2 hours on the phone, they said I should have bought the warranty. I paid 1820. 00 for 3 pieces, that was enough. The fabric on sofa and chair looks like new yet but the pillows are terrible. Buyer beware or pay the extra 150 warranty. They sent new pillows at no charge. I quess it pays to ask for manager.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
March 11, 2022

BUYER BEWARE!
Mattresses & Adjustable Bases (bed frame)
DO NOT listen to any Manager, Sales Associate or Store Manager when purchasing any mattress or foundation (bed frame or adjustable bed frame)!
They LIE to your face and say they are
RETURNABLE & REFUNDABLE, but if you READ
EVERY LINE on the sales contract (which no one does, they believe the manager & sales
Associate), NONE are returnable or refundable
ONCE DELIVERED TO YOUR HOME!
If you purchase a Tempur-Pedic, they make you keep it at least 30 days and honor Tempur-Pedics 90 Day Comfort period. (I haven't got more than 4-5 hrs of sleep a night since delivered on 2/16/2022). We were told by Manager & Sales Associate that we could return for full refund or exchange as many time as needed to get the correct mattress or one of Tempur-Pedic's brands (Sealey or Saturns & Foster) ALL LIES!
Store Manager told us we can ONLY EXCHANGE ONCE for another Tempur-Pedic not the other brands and if the new mattress is less money, NO REFUND, ONLY STORE CREDIT! And NO RETURN OR REFUND ON THE ADJUSTABLE BASES (bed frames).

Such a horrible company!
March 11, 2022

I ordered a 3 piece coffee table set and when I received it it was missing the legs to one of the end tables and after calling to get the parts they sent the incorrect one. Now I'm being told they can't send me the parts and in order to receive the replacement I would need to go and donate what I have and then show a receipt. I literally only need two legs for a table that I paid for and never received. This is such an inconvenience and I'm extremely upset.

Going on since January 2022. I am an my 3rd exchange and about 15 calls. Seems their reps, systems and delivery system do not talk to each other. Reps are not empowered to help, it is a call somewhere else. Small defect on exchange the furniture smells.
Called last week and asked for an accommodation to end the madness. Offered 15% but I declined.
Today and Decide to take it. Nothing in the system. The person offered me 30.00, what an insult. Still on the call after 20 minutes, her supervisor declined. Now, being told a supervisor did not approve. I will update this review- I would not recommend this company!

Daytona Beach, FL
March 4, 2022

Me and my significant other went into Ashley in Daytona Beach, FL…. We got all of our information in the system, and the items we picked out and told us what we were purchasing would be delivered the Sunday March 6th… however their system wasnt working, and they told us to come in the following day so we could finish the process, and pay the downpayment, so an hour into when this store had opened, my spouse went into this store and had cash in hand and was going to complete the process, they then told him that "they had sold a bunch of beds and the bed we had picked out the night before was unavailable for over a week" so, that being said, I'm simply unhappy.

Terrible customer service.
February 28, 2022

Heres why I review Ashleys a 1 / 5... Sorry for length, but important to read IMO.

I ordered a couch brand new which arrived packaged in cardboard and plastic. Ashleys charges 75-100$ to unwrap this item so I decided to do this myself.

Once unwrapped, I immediately noticed a small quarter sized hole on a part of the couch. I immediately called Ashleys guest services and sent in the information required (including pictures) to have this issue dealt with.

Ashleys sent out a repair tech to my house whom informed myself to just get the couch replaced as he did not believe he could repair the hole to look " brand new "; I stated that would work.

Months had gone by, when Ashleys finally set up an appointment with myself to have the second tech to come over with the new sectional to have the damaged one replaced. Upon arrival, the tech informed myself that Ashleys had ordered the wrong sectional, and would have to get the right one... I stated thats okay since I had no other options.

Another 3 months goes by which included delays on Ashleys end, lack of parts, countless calls, etc etc. Ashleys at one point did offer me to take the couch "as is" and receive 30% cash back... I refused as Ashleys would not send out a tech to simply do a 5 minute job to fix the hole in the couch on top of the 30% cash back. So the third tech was to come out and replace my sectional couch as originally planned.

The tech finally arrived (this is now 6 months after original date of purchase) to replace the sectional. This tech had the parts to do this exact job. The tech informed myself that he would first do a "patch job" as he believed he could fix the issue without the couch having to be fully replaced. The tech completed the work which took 5-10 mins max. The couch looked fairly good HOWEVER this was not what was negotiated I did not purchase a damaged couch. During the time the tech was leaving, he informed myself that if I did not feel the repair was sufficient to call back and the couch would be replaced I stated I would talk to guest services about the 30% which was offered and see what they say.

The reason I accepted this patch job at the time was because I thought since it was a patch job and not a total replacement of the entire sectional, Ashleys would honor the 30% cash back for the issues throughout the entire process. In saying this, if they were to say they were not going to honor the 30% cash back, I was just going to tell Ashleys to have the tech come back and replace the sectional as originally planned as I did not order a damaged couch to begin with. This was also suggested by the tech.

After much issues, conversations with managers and guest services... I was informed that I would not be receiving the 30% cash back, that the patch job was sufficient, and that the couch would not be replaced. I was informed that Ashleys furniture is a "repair first, replace second company", and that they did not have ANY INFORMATION on file about a sectional being completely replaced even though they brought parts to have that done TWICE! They then hung up on me as they stated the patch job was good enough.

So anyone buying from this business be aware that if your product comes damaged, your likely going to have a terrible experience with this company. I would also recommend that if you do purchase from them, purchase something in the show room which you can clearly see is not damaged. If you want patch work done on your brand new furniture then by all means purchase from this business.

I will never deal with this business again.

Manager Craig at Chattanooga Tn store
February 27, 2022

I got an appointment to go in and look at a chair then get a $50 MasterCard for doing that. I did my part to come in and Craig signed me up on his laptop. I went in the store over 9 times over 2 months and never got an answer as to why I not received gift card. I called corporate many times also. Craig was very rude every time I went in and he finally banned me from store. He does not need to work with the public. You should not shop there. Rooms To Go down the street is much better furniture and they are a lot nicer and much more knowledgeable.

Ashley Customer Service
February 25, 2022

You better hope nothing goes wrong with any furniture if you purchase from Ashley. They are the absolute worst with customer service. I was transferred from person to person 6 times and no one knew what they're doing. It took me over a week and multiple people to find out that in order to order a part, I need to have an invoice created by the service department, which takes 24 hours, then physically go to the store that it was purchased from and pay for it, then pick it up after it arrives 2-6 weeks later. I can understand waiting for the part to come in, but the amount of time it took to order the part was ridiculous!

What a hassle
February 23, 2022

I bought a top of the line Tempurpedic mattress at Fiesta Trails a week ago. We specifically asked about removal of the old mattress, as we live out in the country, and have no way to dispose of it. We were assured that it was no problem. Delivery day arrived, and drivers refused to take old mattress since it wasn't on their order form. After 40 minutes on line with customer service, being disconnected, and calling back, transfer to supervisor went to voicemail. Called store 3 times, and couldn't reach anyone. Left messages to get this resolved, and am waiting on return phone calls. A large home store like this has no mechanism in place to handle problems that arise? Ridiculous! Can't take payments over the phone? Come on. I've purchased many items from Ashley over the years, but never again. I have a California King mattress laying in my yard, with no way to dispose of it.
