Please do not buy online like a reviewer said earlier unless you plan on keeping. Do not use PayPal when you go to return at the store such confusion at least 20 minutes trying to figure out how to process it then say store credit because of PayPal. Bottom line stick to the well know department stores and no headache then want to keep your receipt when I said make a copy no copy machine had to use her cell phone. I will use this store credit I was forced into and I'm done

My first order WAS MY LAST!

My first order: ordered boots, they arrived with a 5mm HOLE in the sole! No quality control? They contacted me and offered me 20% off my NEXT ONLINE purchase... of anything that's NOT 50% off! Their customer service should have applied it to my APP ACCOUNT and offered it towards ANY FUTURE in-store or online purchase! Poor customer service, poor quality control = bad business!

I placed an order a month ago and still waiting for any kind of update. My order just says "processing". I have emailed 3 times because you cannot even get through on the phone line... busy signal now matter how many times during the day you try. I have tried to even call a store to see if there is another contact number... all their numbers go straight to busy as well! They have my money and I have no product!

Stealing money

Stealing money. They charged me for an item that they didn't have anymore. However it was available on the website.

I got this message:
The item you picked is really popular! Unfortunately the following item(s) in your order are no longer available. Sorry about that!

I bought just two times on the Ardene website and both of the orders I have problems with. The second time I decided to give them a chance but I got a headache again. A good advice, don't buy from them anymore. I learned my lesson.

Using a pre-paid 100 dollar MasterCard I ordered from 2 sites. The second site was Ardene. I had 37 left on the card and ordered 36.50 worth of stuff. I never received an update on the progress on my order. I received an order confirmation day 1 but how to track was not in the email.
7 days go by and I call MasterCard as the order is still pending. They tell me it was declined by Ardene. ( No email from Ardene telling me this)
WHY? Because I only has the cost of the order plus 50 cents left on my card. Apparently I need to have 20 % of the order on my card in case there are unexpected costs. That means I need to have the cost of my order PLUS 20 % of that before the order is OK'd
That is so bloody stupid. It is a pre-paid MasterCard which is basically like cash. If the card does not have enough money it cannot be used. A penny short and it is declined. Now I have to wait 10 days for Ardene to refund my money ( because they already put a pending on my card) and then MasterCard will put it back on my PRE-PAID card.
Cheep low quality company. I have used these cards for many years with so many clothing companies. Never an issue.

They care more about money than customers. They wouldnt answer my calls or emails, and refused to refund me when I used a gift card to buy a couple items and with the remaining balance I used my credit card and it ALL got charged to my credit card and they refused to refund me.
The worste customer service. Not buying from here again

Excellent service

I feel bad for the people waiting because of shipping, but it takes very little time to get out of their warehouse. The shipping companies are to blame, Canada Post, et al. The clothes are exactly what I expected, not 'supreme' quality but some have been surprisingly very, very good. You can tell a lot about the quality just from the photographs if you know what you are looking at.

I ordered way back in April and of course shipping was a disaster. I KNEW shipping was going to be tough over the pandemic. Not only did they fulfill the order, they refunded two of them, due to the terrible shipping times. I never complained, I never asked for anything, not a peep from me. I was just happy to be able to buy something, given the pandemic. It amounted to $250 refunded. Plus they sent me coupons for 20% off.

Again, I asked for nothing. They did this on their own.

They earned a customer for life because of their exceedingly good customer service policies.

I purchased a bunch of items online and went out to have it returned right before the 30days. The girl mentioned that I have to send it out. Life happened and got busy, by the time I called it was under 2 weeks. Customer service representative was not willing to even be bothered. I mentioned that I got there before the 30-day policy. He could've made an exception if he wanted to. We hit holiday and it was a matter of a few days.
I will honestly not buy from there anymore. He acted like we were talking about 100s of dollars.
Especially around this time, people want their money back and people buy online. So it should've been extended in first place.

Clothes were horrible fit and sized were off.

I have had a brand new purse break as I was picking it up to use for the very first time. I couldn't believe it. I have had a pair of tights rip as I was putting them on for the first time (the waist band literally ripped off of the pant). I have had earrings and necklaces break as I was putting them on. I stopped buying their stuff as gifts for the young girls in my family out of fear that it would be cheap quality. I question the materials that their stuff is made out of as well. Not sure if they pay any attention to safety and quality.

The worst company ran by a bunch of jokers.
One star as its what choose.
The worst customer service, sorry no customer service. I placed an order two weeks back, and it is still 'processing'. Calling, there is no answer, emailing states someone will reply in a couple of days. Forget days, no one replies in weeks.
Selfish management know that they will keep making money and don't give a damn about customers or customer service...
Keep its up, won't last for long...

Ardene tends to have a high rate of discrimination, unnecessary stalking of customers who are black. I was followed in more than one store to come to this conclusion, keep in mind i am a Doctor and i do not wear Ardene's low quality clothing. However, my niece like their fashion sense, so i was shopping for bday presents for her. Unfortunately, i leave because of the distasteful action of Ardene's employees. I spend over 800$ elsewhere. My niece who is a first year law student decided to cross Ardene's stores out of her fav...

They processed my cart without me pressing continue to make purchase.
I went to edit.
Went out of the app came back made, new order and did buy 2and order
Go to bank statement
They took both.
I'm beyond angry.
Of course no one there to cancel order.
Now I have duplicates of stuff and no way to secure a return.
Do not shop on line at this place.

Bad experience... Return label was not provided. PR # ardene gave me was incorrect. Soooo much headache. Would not recommend buying online, unless u r planning to keep the thing that does not fit. I had horrible, time occupying unpleasant experience with ardene team, note: ONLINE only!

Awful company.

One, I worked here and that was awful in itself, terrible and disgusting, there is no wonder Ardene is going downhill and out of business, after working here I know ins and jots that I wish I didn't they are a completely unethical company and they are the worst for customer service I hated it. Second, as a customer, it's an awful awful company. Cheap clothing and accessories and god awful customer service in resolving issues. I am so disappointed and unimpressed with the Ardene company. I will never order from them again, nor will I shop in their stores. There service department made 100% sure of that. Terrible, disappointing, and unethical customer service.
My biggest complaint is that I ordered 2 separate orders from them online, they then reversed the payments, and sent my money back, than 2 weeks later they send me my stuff then take the money out again. If I was not as on top of my bank account and my money as I am I might have missed this, and this could have caused me to miss a payment on something more important. Due to their ignorance and there lack or rectifying the issue I will never support this company again.

I generally love this store! However, because of COVID-19, I had to shop online for a bra, and they won't let me return it. I've literally only worn it for a minute to see how it looks, and it makes my breasts look triangular. Very sad with the turnout, and even more sad by the fact they won't let me return it for at least a refund. I would advise against shopping here for anything "unmentionable". I probably won't be shopping online here again.

Bad customer service!

I talked to *******@ardene customer service she did not know how to talk with the customer politely... they are not helpful
Very bad customer servise, i called supervisor and she talked to me in a rude way no apologies! They said the item arrives in 3 business day... but its not true!
Almost 1 week now and nothing although i got message that its delivered to me! And they connected to Post Canada and No response they didnot know where is my item or what is the status of it LOOL
So bad!
Not recommend to shop from ARDENE online

Dont buy from Ardene.com

Over half of the clothes I ordered (I ordered a lot) were poor quality and looked nothing like the pictures! If you are anywhere other than Canada NEVER buy from them. They make returns IMPOSSIBLE. Live and learn

Terrible

I bought a pair of sandals and a bag from the store in South Shore Plaza, Braintree. I bought these things specifically for a trip I was going to. I kept them from April to June and when I was on my holiday in June I was shocked when the shoes I had never one and the bag I had never used both broke within days of each other. I was so embarrassed and in complete disbelief. I emailed them only for them to write me a short paragraph with a meager apology. Thanks but no thanks, what about my hard earned money? I will never shop there again. Be careful when you buy from there. The quality is very poor.
