Surprised they were bendable. Hope they will paint well. Had hoped to paint them on a horizontal surface and then mount on cornice boards that were already up.

I enjoyed looking a the different design elements of the brackets. You had the type I was looking to use. I would have liked to see some help on how many brackets and how big of a bracket would be needed to hold a high granite overhanging bar of 18 inches wide and 11 feet long.I'm sure I will love the bracket.

Liked your Q&A and installation info. I was going to hire a handy man to install the shutters but did it myself - easy. It took me 1 1/2 hours to remove and replace the first shutter (mostly removal time) and an hour on the second shutter. The original shtters were plywood screwed through stucco into the window framing.
