Thought I saw free shipping, but charged $12. Discovered the 7 inch shutters had to be assembled and cost more than normal 14 inch shutters.

I was never informed that the order had got to the "being shipped" status. Although I was told this would would take until the end of October to receive. So this inaccurate and missing information created a scheduling burden. The only email I received was to confirm the order. Also the packaging was very poor for something so expensive and of this weight. Some of the column corners went dented because of this which can be worked around. Of course this adds to my labor therefore bringing the value down.
I bought shutters to dress up the front of my new home. But now I am thinking I need to do the windows on the side of the house that people see first as they drive up to my house. And these will be very affordable and easy to install
