They stole my money $ 3.000.00 for not repair refrigerator because parts not available anymore on the market
The technician came, spent 20 minutes disassembling the washer. He told me that i need new part that costs over 700 bucks. He took the money for the part and never heard from him again. I called their number and they told me that the part is on backorder and they don't know when they will have it. I said money back please and they said sure but we keep 260 dollars. They left me with washer that I cant use because its in pieces but this wasn't any discussion with them. I ended up buying a new one. Total scam, very rude service over the phone, they wont let you finish one sentence without interrupting. Stay away.
The service tech came to repair my Miele dishwasher. Within a few minutes he tried to sell me a new motor, which was 2X the cost of what is it direct from Miele, and nearly the same cost of buying a brand new dishwasher. I had a service rep from Miele come in 2 days later and they explained the alignment was off and the motor was perfectly fine. I wasted $322 on a scam artist because I wanted same day service. Lesson learned! Do your research and look at the reviews before you call these crooks.
As i am about to write a review here i can see i am not alone. These guys totally riped us off, misrepresented what service they were providing and then sent us to collections when we refused to pay. The funny part of it was the technician looked at me like yeah i get it when i refused to pay. Still at the CGC agency trying to collect from me. Anyone interested in going to claims court as a group. If so please email me on susanmaecornishgmail.com
This company has scammed one more customer by charging $327.70 in labour charges without fixing the dishwasher. Its deplorable that they remain in business. We made a mistake by not reviewing this company on the BBB-hundreds of complaints and the same story. What can be done to stop this company from continuing to scam everyone! Please do your research before hiring them.
Replaced the control board... over $900 later! Waited over 3 weeks for part to be replaced.
Rude technician and rep on the phone no better.
Floor was scratched and was told we already signed the service order so not their problem.
Wish we would have read reviews prior!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I have been dealing with an on-going situation with The A Team Appliance Repair company regarding my GE refrigerator that still does not work.
The technician came in November and made a quick assessment regarding my freezer and told me it can be fixed with a new evaporator motor fan and he was fully aware there was no model number as he believed he found the right part by searching on a website.
After insisting I pay 50% down in cash or debit before scheduling a date for my refrigerator to be repaired.
A week later the part was installed and the noise was so loud, rumbling, and rattling like a car engine running! In fact, it was louder than before it was fixed! He said the part was faulty or not compatible with the GE refrigerator. He insisted I pay the remaining amount too.
After a second attempt with another part a week later and tried to fix it by gluing pieces "Frankenstein" together the motor.
At this time, the company is stalling and avoiding the issue even though they have my money. I still do not have a working refrigerator, and it's going to be one month since this has started.
I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and customer service with this company. I hope the company will take the responsibility to issue me a refund of the total amount of $766.07 as it stands now, I do not have a working refrigerator and no one is returning my calls or email and no follow up with a resolution.
I wish I read all the bad reviews and the caution report from the Better Business Bureau before I contacted this company.
Please do not contact this company as they clearly have technicians that are uneducated and make assumptions, over inflated prices on labour and parts and take your money! Also, a customer service team that uses the same script with saying we will get back to you in 24-48 hours and no one will follow-up with a refund or resolution.
Beware this company is crooked. Scammed me for $316.40 for a service they did not fix but only made it worse. In checking with the Better Business Bureau, they have had many similar complaints. How does this happen and they are still in business?
We had a problem with our Viking broiler. Sean came and said both our broiler and oven igniters were defective. So we bought new ones. Then he came to install. Oops, the problem was not the igniters but the gas valve, By that time I had run out of money. Several months later we got a new gas valve installed. Seems to work now but the oven ignites with visible flames in the midst of reigniting (when you have cooled down the oven when checking on food.
The sent non licensed, unprofessional and unknowledgeable person to our place. He suggested to get in fixed by LG... charged 320 plus tax
Overly priced. Technician not qualified. Cal center not very professional.
Please shop around there are better companies out there.
Absolutely terrible in home service and terrible customer service. Called with a complaint and got no satisfaction. The technician that visited damaged a part of our fridge while trying to remove it. He then wrote on the bill it needed to be replaced and would have to return. Unfortunately we didn't notice the fridge till he was gone. When we called the office we were informed that we had already signed the invoice therefore there was nothing they could do. When asked to speak to a manager/supervisor I was told they were a supervisor and there was no one else to talk to. I pushed "the supervisor" and was told I could email one of the owners. I suggest anyone looking for a repair company to look elsewhere and save yourself a lot of time and money.
Unfortunately I had give a star rating so I did. Otherwise I would of given it no stars.
These people are crooks. They tell you the initial charge is 90. They come in and 'reset' the refrigerator, meaning, they unplug it and de-ice it. Now it's $300. But actually, there is a part that is broken. Want a simple $80 fan replaced (that was causing the problem). Now it's $600. After all "we don't have all the parts, and coming back is another service call'. They don't take credit cards... now I know why. Don't use them!
