Terrible company - stay away
March 21, 2025

I sure wish that I had read the reviews and saved myself some aggravation. I arrived at this company after clicking around trying to find the replacement motherboard for the whirlpool washer that everyone needs to replace. When they said in stock and would ship that day or the next day and I didn't hear from them for two days - I had a bad feeling. I did reach customer service who told me it was "in process" and couldn't be cancelled. Unless the product has already left the door - it should be able to be cancelled. Clearly this product wasn't available as stated on the website.
The part arrived 6 days after I ordered it - from Texas, not California where the company is supposed to be located. It arrived terribly packaged (outside good) the part was loosely wrapped in flattened bubble wrap (one layer). This is an electronic motherboard that should have shipped in foam to prevent the bouncing around during shipping. Installed very easily - recalibrated the machine as required when you replace a part - and will not complete a cycle. Will not go into the spin cycle in any mode. Guess what - they will not refund if you have installed. Even if a defective part. How was I supposed to know it was defective until I installed it. Grrr. - well I have now been without a washing machine for almost two weeks - I gave up and bought a new waher with extended warranty. Stay away from this crap company and save your money

Hi Janet,

Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. We are sincerely sorry for the frustration, delay, and inconvenience you experienced while trying to get your washing machine repaired.

While electrical and electronic components are non-returnable once installed due to industry-standard policies, we completely understand your point about discovering a defect. If a part arrives damaged or defective, our support team is always available to assist with warranty options and replacement support through the manufacturer.

Regarding shipping locations, we fulfill orders from multiple authorized distribution warehouses across the country—including facilities in Texas—to try to get parts to our customers as quickly as possible. However, we hear your feedback loud and clear regarding the delayed handling, packaging concerns, and difficulty canceling your order prior to dispatch. We are actively sharing your notes with both our warehouse operations and customer support teams to improve our process and communication.

We truly regret that this experience led to so much aggravation and forced you to replace your machine altogether. If you would like our team to look further into your order history or defect claim, please feel free to reach out directly to customer support at 1-800-939-0722 or [email protected].

Stay away!
December 31, 2024

I realized I had ordered the wrong part, so like their website recommended, I immediately reached out to cancel my order. I did the "live chat" (where there was no representative at the time), emailed and called the company. When I called, I was told that not to worry it would be cancelled in 30 minutes to an hour because the order wasn't even showing up in their system yet and they had to look it up by my name. I was told that I would receive an email confirmation with the cancellation. Well two hours later I got an email saying they couldn't cancel the order and it was in the "shipping process" and I could just refuse the package from ups. When I called about this, I was told I was still going to be charged for both shipping and the restocking fee. This was the same employee who I had talked to earlier and told me my order would be cancelled. I asked to talk to a supervisor or another associate, but they told me they were the only person working. I asked if she could please reach out to the warehouse to stop the order and she kept saying "there is nothing I can do". Then she kept repeating over and over "I don't want to have this conversation" and "there is nothing I can do". She did tell me they would wave the restocking fee if I ordered the correct part from them which I refuse to do considering the horrible customer service i received. After I got off the phone, about an hour later I received an email from ups saying the label was just printed but they weren't in possession of the package. I then realize I feel like I've been lied to. Hours ago I was told the package couldn't be cancelled because it was in the "shipping process" and I just now get an email saying the label was printed from ups. I sent another email with this information and got a response saying " The order cannot be canceled anymore, please refuse the package once it arrives.". This time it is signed by a different name than the employee who I had been communicating with all day. So once again I was lied to because the original employee said she was the only one working and now I'm getting an email from someone else? This should be illegal. Truly horrible customer service.

Hi Abby,

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We understand why this experience was frustrating, particularly because you contacted us promptly after realizing the wrong part had been ordered and were given different information about whether the order could still be stopped.

We recognize that the communication around the order status, cancellation request, and shipping process should have been much clearer. Our team is reviewing how cancellation requests are handled between customer service and the warehouse so that a request made before a package is actually handed to the carrier can be properly escalated and verified, rather than relying on assumptions about the order’s status.

We’re also working to improve our live chat coverage and internal communication so customers receive consistent information regardless of which team member responds. Most importantly, when a customer asks to cancel an order, the goal should be to provide a clear status, explain what options are actually available, and communicate any applicable fees upfront.

We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. Feedback like this helps us identify gaps in the process and improve the overall ordering and customer-service experience so situations like this can be handled more seamlessly in the future.

Bad customer service
June 12, 2024

They sent the correct items quickly but packaged them poorly and the shelf trim was bent. UPS took them back and sent them back to them. After a lot of back and forth they agreed to send me a new one. They have not done that, nor are they going to. They say they are sending me a refund but that just means that I will have to purchase them somewhere else and pay all the shipping again which they are not reimbursing me for. They do NOT care about customer satisfaction! Do not buy from them.

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad the correct items were initially sent promptly, but we understand how frustrating it is when an item arrives damaged and the resolution takes longer than expected.

A shelf trim is a delicate component, and packaging it properly is especially important. We’re reviewing our packing process for items that can bend or become damaged during transit, including how they are secured and protected before leaving the warehouse.

We’re also working to make our damaged-item process more seamless by improving communication between customer service, the warehouse, and the carrier. When a replacement is approved, customers should have clear updates on whether the replacement is being shipped or a refund is being processed, rather than having to repeatedly follow up.

We understand that receiving a refund does not necessarily eliminate the inconvenience, particularly when you still need the part and may have to place another order elsewhere. Your feedback is valuable in helping us improve both our packaging standards and the way we handle damaged-part resolutions from start to finish.

Unwilling to take back an item because the "external box has markings on it" The item
Itself was never opened at all and was in its original packaging

Date of experience: June 6, 2024

Hi there,

We understand the frustration when an item itself is unopened and in its original packaging, and we appreciate you sharing your experience.

Our return policy does include specific requirements regarding the condition of the external shipping box. These requirements help us maintain the integrity of returned inventory and allow our team to properly inspect and process items before they are returned to stock. We also understand that this requirement may not always be clear to customers, particularly when the product packaging itself remains unopened.

We’re reviewing how these return requirements are presented during the ordering and return process so customers have clearer expectations before sending an item back. Our goal is to make the return process more straightforward by clearly explaining what qualifies for a return, what condition the packaging needs to be in, and what steps customers should take before shipping anything back.

We appreciate the feedback and will use it to improve both the clarity of our return policy and the overall customer experience.

Wrong Part
April 19, 2024

Ordered a part from their website that matched the one we have. Sent us a different part but they insisted this is the correct one. Sent photos of theirs and ours that clearly did not match. After several emails, they now say the one online has been replaced with the one they sent. We are STILL trying to make this part work because after paying for the part, shipping and handling, we would be obligated to pay to send the part back. I also mentioned to them that they need to take the old part off the website.

Hi Kelly,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it is to order a part based on the information and photos shown on a website, only to receive a different-looking replacement and then have to spend additional time determining whether it will work.

Appliance manufacturers sometimes supersede an original part number with a newer replacement that may have a different appearance or design while serving the same application. However, when the difference is significant enough to cause concern, we recognize that this needs to be communicated clearly rather than leaving the customer to figure it out after receiving the part.

We’re reviewing our product listings and replacement-part information to make sure superseded part numbers, updated images, and compatibility details are clearly identified. We’re also working to improve the process for customers who report a mismatch, including better photo and part-number verification before asking them to proceed with installation.

We appreciate the feedback regarding the outdated website information as well. Keeping listings accurate and clearly identifying manufacturer replacements is an important part of making the ordering experience as seamless as possible and avoiding unnecessary returns, shipping costs, and frustration.

Absolute worst company to deal with. Ordered items supposedly in-stock on their website, 2 months later and several phone calls later (each call > 1 hr on hold), I am still being told the items are on back order, with the date getting pushed back each time by several weeks. STAY AWAY!

Hi Michael,

We understand how frustrating it is to place an order based on an item showing as in stock, only to experience repeated delays and changing backorder dates. Waiting two months and spending significant time on the phone for updates is understandably not the experience anyone expects when ordering an appliance part.

We’re actively working to improve the connection between our website inventory, supplier availability, and order-processing systems so that parts are represented more accurately at the time of purchase. When an item becomes unavailable or a supplier pushes back an estimated availability date, our goal is to provide customers with timely updates and clearer options rather than leaving them to repeatedly contact us for answers.

We’re also reviewing our customer-service and escalation process to reduce extended hold times and make it easier for customers with delayed or backordered orders to receive a clear resolution.

We appreciate the feedback. While supply issues can sometimes be outside our direct control, keeping customers informed, providing realistic expectations, and making the resolution process as seamless as possible are areas where we can—and should—continue to improve.

Poorly run company-Watch RETURNS-Ripoff
February 8, 2024

BEWARE! My guess would be this is a reseller or drop shipper of parts. I recently needed a replacement part for my LG dishwasher, so I did what most people do and I Googled my model number. ApplicanceParts4All came up with the matching part and the best price. I looked at the photo and my part and they looked to be the same. The part arrived in good condition and when I opened the package I realized that one of the hoses was very short. After some deeper online searching, I realized that the part I needed was slightly different (with a longer hose). I contacted ApplianceParts4All and they provided me an RMA. Their return policy and how they present it is very sketchy. First, you need to pay for the return shipping, which in this day and age is rare, but I get it. Then, the SECOND cost is a 12% restocking fee UNLESS you re-purchase the correct part from them. In my case, LG direct was less expensive than ApplicanceParts4All, so I bought from them. Then, when I received my refund the THIRD fee was they actually removed the INITIAL shipping charge from your refund. So on a $40 part, I should have received about $35 in a refund, but they refunded me $24. Now, yes, we need to read the fine print for all companies, but even in their emails back and forth on the return, their email ONLY states the 12% restocking fee, there is no mention of the initial shipping charge unless you go to their website terms and conditions (its buried in there).

Hi Mark,

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We understand the frustration of finding a part that appears to match your appliance, only to discover after delivery that a small design difference—such as the hose length—makes it unsuitable for your specific application.

We also understand your concerns about the return costs and, more importantly, how those costs were communicated. Our return policy does outline the applicable return-shipping and restocking provisions, but we recognize that having important details primarily within the website terms can make the process feel less transparent than it should be.

We’re working to improve this by making return-related costs and conditions more visible before an order is placed and by ensuring that customer-service communications clearly explain all applicable fees when an RMA is issued. We’re also continuing to improve our product listings with more detailed compatibility information, clearer images, and manufacturer replacement details to help customers distinguish between similar-looking parts before ordering.

Our goal is to make the process more seamless from search to checkout and, when a return is necessary, ensure customers understand exactly what to expect before sending the part back. We appreciate the feedback and will use it to improve both our product information and return communication.

Worst business I've dealt with in years
Bought a part, delayed shipping and cancelled it once shipping company said the business had to file a claim( which they have no record of). Part shows up 24 days after ordering, also after I received the part from another company. I called to return and had to fill out forms, open the unopened package to send pictures and finally repackage and pay to ship back. Weeks later I get my refund with a 12% restocking fee deduction even though the email states,"Restocking Charge: In addition, we want to clarify that there is a 12% restocking fee, as per our terms and conditions, which will be deducted from the part's cost upon processing the return. We can waive the restocking fee if you placed an order for the correct part.(This only applies for incorrect parts ordered)". Apparently the waiving only applies if you order the wrong part and place an order for a new one. Between shipping to me, return shipping, tax, and 12% fee I'm out around $30 and the company couldn't care less. The customer service is terrible, return policy is terrible and this has been the worst expierence I've had with any business in years. 10/10 would never recommend anyone using their business.

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We understand why this experience was frustrating, particularly with a 24-day delivery, conflicting information regarding the shipment, and the additional time and expense involved in returning an item that had already become unnecessary.

We also recognize the concern regarding how the restocking-fee exception was communicated. Our policy distinguishes between an incorrect part ordered by the customer and other types of returns, and we understand how the wording in the email could have created a different expectation. Return terms should be clear and easy to understand before a customer commits to the return process.

We’re working to make this process more seamless by improving communication between our customer service, warehouse, and shipping partners when a shipment is delayed or requires an investigation. We’re also reviewing how return instructions and applicable fees are presented so customers receive a complete explanation—including when an exception does or does not apply—before completing the return.

Additionally, we’re continuing to improve inventory and fulfillment tracking to provide more accurate delivery expectations and earlier updates when an order is experiencing an unexpected delay.

We appreciate the candid feedback. While shipping issues can sometimes occur outside our direct control, the way we communicate, manage the return process, and set expectations is within our control—and those are areas we’re committed to improving.

Our stove needs a new control board, and we were hoping to have it in time for Christmas food prep, so I found their site and it said in stock, so I ordered it with expedited shipping. Next day I get an email "sorry, it's backordered". I responded that I would not be continuing with the order and provided a screenshot of the product page very clearly showing "IN STOCK".

Hi Erik,

We understand the frustration, especially when you were trying to have your stove repaired in time for Christmas and paid for expedited shipping based on the part being shown as “IN STOCK.” Receiving a backorder notice the following day understandably changes the expectation you had when placing the order.

Accurate inventory information is especially important for appliance parts, where customers are often ordering because they need their appliance working as quickly as possible. We’re continuing to improve the connection between our website inventory, supplier availability, and order-processing system to reduce situations where a part may appear available online but is actually awaiting supplier fulfillment.

We’re also working to provide earlier and clearer notifications when an availability issue is identified, giving customers the opportunity to make an informed decision before waiting unnecessarily. Our goal is to make the process more seamless—from seeing accurate inventory at checkout to receiving timely updates if circumstances change.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and for providing the screenshot. Feedback like this helps us identify where our inventory and communication processes need to be strengthened.

Never Received Part Ordered
November 29, 2023

Very disappointing service. Ordered a kitchen freezer part. Delivery date changed 5 times over 6 months. No reasons were given. Could not speak to a manager, a supervisor, the manufacturer, etc. With no more information except another (6th) promised delivery date, I finally just cancelled.

Date of experience: November 29, 2023
Mark M. — applianceparts4all.com Rep

Hi Glen,

We understand how frustrating it is to have a needed freezer part repeatedly pushed back over such an extended period, especially when each new date creates another expectation without a clear explanation for the delay.

A six-month wait with multiple changes to the estimated delivery date is not the experience we want customers to have. While manufacturer and supplier backorders can sometimes change unexpectedly, we recognize that customers should not have to repeatedly contact us simply to find out what is happening with their order.

We’re working to improve our backorder and supplier-communication process by providing more proactive status updates, clearer explanations when availability dates change, and better escalation procedures when an order remains delayed for an extended period. We’re also working to make it easier for customers to understand their options when a part has no reliable fulfillment date.

Our goal is to make the experience more seamless and transparent—from the initial order through fulfillment—so customers can make informed decisions rather than being left waiting on another estimated date.

We appreciate the feedback and will use it to strengthen how we manage long-term backorders and communicate with customers throughout the process.

Lie to customers
November 10, 2023

Ordered 2 items and got a note that it was backordered so called to cancel that item. They told me the other item would ship today. Then they call at the end of the day to say they canceled the whole order and I will have order again on their webpage and not get the item in time.

Date of experience: November 10, 2023
Mark M. — applianceparts4all.com Rep

Hi Chris,

We understand why this was frustrating. You contacted us specifically to cancel the backordered item while keeping the other available item, and being told that the remaining item would ship that day set a clear expectation. Learning later that the entire order had been canceled understandably made the situation even more disappointing, particularly when timing was important.

When an order contains multiple items with different availability, our fulfillment process should clearly identify which item is being canceled and which items should continue processing. We’re working to improve this process by strengthening communication between customer service, inventory, and fulfillment so partial cancellations are handled correctly and customers receive confirmation before an order is changed or canceled in full.

We’re also improving order-status notifications so customers have clearer visibility into what is happening with each item rather than receiving unexpected updates at the end of the day.

We appreciate the feedback. Our goal is to make changes like cancellations, partial shipments, and backorders much more seamless and predictable so customers can get the parts that are available without unnecessary delays.

I ordered a part for my icemaker and they sent me the wrong part. The picture on their site did not even look like what they sent although the bag it came in had the correct part number I needed on it. Getting ahold of someone was a joke and then after I had to pay to ship it back to them they only refunded half my purchase price as they said it was not their error and that is their policy. Do NOT purchase anything from them!

Hi Curt,

We understand why this experience was frustrating. When the part number on the packaging matches what was ordered but the actual part and website image appear different, it’s reasonable to expect clarification before being asked to proceed with a return.

We’re reviewing our product listings and fulfillment process to make sure images, part numbers, and manufacturer-supplied replacement information are aligned as closely as possible. In some cases, manufacturers supersede a part with an updated version, but those changes should be clearly identified so customers aren’t left questioning whether they received the correct item.

We’re also working to improve how potential part mismatches are handled. When a customer reports that the item received does not match the listing, our process should include reviewing the photos and part information and clearly explaining the resolution options before a return is initiated.

We recognize that clear communication is just as important as getting the physical part right. Improving response times, return instructions, and transparency around applicable return costs is part of our effort to make the experience more seamless from ordering through resolution.

We appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. It helps us identify where our product information and customer-service processes need to be stronger.

I told them I never recieved first email with RMA and they didn't care. So not only am I our for money for the part but now I'm also out the money for the shipping it back to them. Now they will sell part again and make double.

We’re also strengthening our part-verification process to help prevent incorrect parts from being shipped in the first place. Our goal is to make returns and resolutions faster, clearer, and more seamless when an issue does occur.

Thank you for sharing your experience and bringing these process gaps to our attention.

My 17 year old Dacor gas range suddenly failed. The oven would not heat up. After researching the user operating manual, the internet, and contacting Dacor, I was able to identify that the oven igniter was the likely failed component. Completing troubleshooting and further consultation with a parts supplier, I was able to locate the exact part number. However the cost for the igniter ranged from $119 to $216 from four or five various suppliers. Yes, ApplianceParts4All.com was the best cost. I was very cautious of the low review ratings on this supplier, so I called them, inquiring why, availability, shipping source, and lead times. The answers sufficed, so I ordered the part. The regular 3 to 5 day quoted delivery time actually came the next day. The part was new and as advertised. I installed it, and the DACOR oven is working good as new (see pics & packing slip - ordered 12/6/22 10:30 CST, received 12/7/22 13:34, installed and initially tested 12/7/22 14:33, final testing with fully assembled oven ~ 18:00 CST).
One note: ApplianceParts4All.com did not provide an order confirmation email; however, I received the UPS delivery email about 6 hours after ordering the part. My website account I set up did have the order details. A confirmation EMAIL should be sent out...

Don't trust their in-stock and shipping claims
September 17, 2022

My experience echoes those of the other reviewers below. Went looking for a replacement bin for my Bosch fridge. Several sites on-line had it, but only ApplianceParts4All listed it as 'In Stock'. I placed the order with them, even though I had done business in the past with some of the others. What a mistake. I also placed an order for a pass-through water filter. The following day, I had still not seen a confirmation for my order so I started a chat with them. We located my order confirmation in my junk email, but they told me the bin was back ordered and would arrive directly from Bosch. The water filter was supposed to ship that day. 4 days later, I spoke to another agent - the water filter has still not shipped (still shows as shipping next day on their website listing!). Now everything is supposed to ship on Monday because it has to ship together according to the representative - it has to ship on the same day from two different locations. Complete nonsense. Buy from the other reputable on-line vendors instead, and don't rely on this vendor. To add insult to injury, I paid extra for expedited processing.

We understand your frustration, especially after choosing us because the Bosch bin was listed as in stock and paying for expedited processing, only to experience delays and conflicting information about when your order would ship.

Accurate inventory and clear shipping expectations are important, and we’re working to improve synchronization between our website, suppliers, and fulfillment locations so availability is represented more accurately. We’re also reviewing how orders with items shipping from different locations are handled to avoid unnecessary delays.

We recognize that paying for expedited processing should come with clear communication and timely fulfillment. Improving order confirmations, proactive delay notifications, and shipment tracking is part of our effort to make the experience more seamless.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. It helps us identify where our fulfillment and communication processes need improvement.
