I'd prefer to have a dial-up wall phone rather than an Apple phone. My wife and I both bought our phones in 2019. Both of our screens stopped responding to touch within 2 weeks of one another. She spent a week trying to get Apple and Verizon to fix the issue. They issue was fixed, but my phone was shut off in the interim. That took another few hours to straighten out.
Next, my screen goes black. It's Tuesday. My phone has been down since Saturday. All my business is on the iPhone and backed up to the ICloud. DO NOT TRUST THE ICLOUD. If horrific customer service was the original sin, Apple would have it nailed. I have a backup email, a trusted phone, and answers to security questions, but don't know have my password for my Apple ID. For three days now, I've tried to recover the password and have spent hours on the phone with Apple UNsupport to recover my account. Nope.
Today, I bought another phone. At the time of purchase, I was told that my account would be recovered in 6 hours. They now say it will be another 3 days before my account can be recovered. In the meantime, I have zero access to my contacts, meetings, apps, etc that are on my phone and "backed up" to the cloud. Guess the cloud means Apple owns your data, not you. Five (5) days to recover my password? The Airlines look PERFECT compared to Apple. I'm returning my phone and getting an Android the moment the information is recovered. Apple can bite me!
My phone cracked. I filed an insurance claim. Which is garbage. Don't waste your money on it. They just try to upsell you. No shipping info for days. I call them and they say oh sorry the phone is on back order but this was 4 days after they already charged my credit card $1100 for the replacement. Garbage company. Ashamed to be a shareholder.
Can't get anything accomplished without 50 questions that are redundant. Takes a min of 10 minutes before they actual try to provide help. They are terrible.
I received my first "Dear Mum/Dad I've lost my phone and have a new number" message but could not block contact only mute or delete it. The Apple Store staff person could not or would not help and then I discovered that I cannot block contacts for other scammers. This is a serious flaw. Or is it? Is Apple leaving the door open for all future scammers? I was a loyal Apple customer for 30 years and have an iMac, an iPad and iPhone. More fool me.
I bought a 14ProMax for my daughter online through Apple Store, even got the AppleCare+ in case we ever needed a repair. I never even got my phone! The package was delivered to my door, left on the floor just like any other packages. From my notifications, it was not left there for more than 5 minutes before my daughter went out and took the package in. She opened it while I was at work and frantically texted me saying that the box was empty. Long story short, delivery box was sealed but there was no phone, no packaging even, inside the sealed brown box. Called Apple when I got home, about 4 hours after delivery, the customer service person was super nice, saying not to worry, the great thing about the Apple company was the customer service and they would investigate and mail us a new phone probably within 10 days and to look out for an email regarding the investigation. I got an email alright, saying that the investigation has been closed and nothing will be done! I, of course, called Apple support again, this time the representative was not helpful at all, telling me there's nothing they would do. And to just contact the police!
First off, I have been a Samsung user and it's my daughter that convinced me to give her an iphone. It took a lot of convincing and a stellar report card to eventually get her one.
Second, they asked if I have a video or pics of the sealed box. Why would I take a picture of a delivery?
Third, doesn't Apple buy insurance with their carrier? If the airline lost our luggage, they reimburse!
Fourth, AppleCare+ was supposed to cover theft. This is theft from, very likely, within Apple's own staff! But the consumer gets punished?!
I am now out $2500, my daughter's first phone, Christmas gift, "good job" gift is now gone! There's no do-over for a first phone. I don't have the funds to buy another NOR WOULD I EVER give Apple any business again!
I have now filed a police report and will contact my credit card company.

I recently got the new iPhone 14 Pro Max. I did the transfer from my old phone to my new phone over wifi like I usually do. However, a bunch of my shared albums were missing. It is just a stroke of luck that I hadn't erased the old phone yet, which I normally do, otherwise all of them would be gone. I have had 3 phone calls about it so far and it STILL hasn't been fixed. So I am stuck waiting to delete the phone and give it to my mom, who really needs a new phone. Not to mention 5 hours of my time have been wasted thus far. I have never had such a frustrating, disappointing, and stressful experience. I hope they give me a gift card or something for the wasted time, since I can't get my time back and this should have never happened.
This trash company of fascists garbage won't allow you to transfer videos from your phone to you gd Mac! They want you to go through gd iCloud like eat sht and die! User friendly my white azz! I am hardlined into the fn Mac I should be able to drag and drop but NOOOOOO! God the future is trash.
I purchased an app that costed $60 and was SCAMMED. App does not do what it says it does. When trying to refund was denied. Appealed, was denied. Tried to talk to customer support and was told there was nothing they could do. To those who make a lot of money $60 is nothing, but to those who live below the poverty line, its a completely different story. To be told by a company that there's nothing they can do is disgusting. I swore by apple but this has really changed my mind. Honestly I will be going back to Samsung before buying another apple product! What this experience has taught me is apple are scammers.

@apple has demonstrated the least professional service - twice lost computer in transit with basically no compensation for the inconvenience, endless phone calls with customer support, and couldn't even provide the computer in store, despite accepting payment….highly recommend not supporting this business in the future.

We have 8 iPads, 2 iPhones, Apple TV, 2 iMacs, 1 laptop, 6 iPods, and many Apple apps we use, such as Ultimate Guitar Pro. We bought all the devices, over time, because we loved Apple and there was a need at the time. Now? I'd never ever have all these Apple devices, never! They are so unreliable that I found myself trouble-shooting every day, sometimes on the phone with Apple for hours (check your phone records Apple, for Shelley Soden). I got pretty good at trouble-shooting, but it frustrated me so much it wore me out. Today, we have a couple of devices and app issues which we have left glitchy because it's just too much trouble and takes up too much time, to keep trouble-shooting or calling Apple to do so. We have a life outside of this CONSTANT trouble shooting. It's quite infuriating. We used to LOVE Apple - now - not at all. As each device dies, it will never be replaced. Our only option seems to be to purchase less devices and lessen our "trouble-shooting window". Great for your future sales Apple!

I'm writing this review because of a trade I have completed with Apple. I traded in an iPhone 11. The trade value was $200. After inspection of the phone I was offered $50 due to a cracked screen. The screen was not cracked. The same thing happened with my daughter. She declined her trade and was told the phone would be returned. She did receive the package and upon opening it was empty. She contacted the company and they asked if the packages had been tampered with. It was not. Please be careful trading. Great products but poor customer service.
I cancelled an app I had downloaded on my iMac, and several days later, was charged. I requested a refund. Apple sends me an email with a link in it to see the refund decision. I won't let me login under the old password, I reset the password, and it won't let me login with the new password either. Yet, I'm able to login to the App Store with my new password. It's ridiculous that a major tech company is this glitchy.
Your products look nice but just don't work, your software is pure puke and should be flushed down the toilet, you make even the basic tasks hard something simple like transferring my pictures to my PC which just hangs after a few minutes because of your iPhone software breakdown. People just need to stop buying apple like me and when this contract is done I will have the hammer ready for your weak product.

Let's talk about these ear pods always falling out my ears. The left EarPod always has problems it disconnects on its own sometimes it doesn't even charge I don't understand why when both ear pods are in the case $150 for Bull $#*!. I work I'm not standing in no long $#*! line I just pursued both the phone, watch and ear pods I shouldn't be having these damn problems already. Now with this phone " How do you get Siri to shut up I don't like hearing my text messages read to me over my music etc. I'll get to the message when I'm ready and the constant alerts to turn my volume down. How do you shut that off?
So as your holiday season is approaching... I'm a little disappointed in Apple and their customer support.
I bought a $50 gift card for Apple from Target.The codes from the card to the card that was inside the envelope are not the same. My son just got an iPhone as his 1st time this is literally his 3rd card they can see on his that he doesn't have any other money anywhere on it...But still won't replace the money. Apple says they will only stand behind their product if we had bought it at an Apple store or Apple online. My issue with that is if you know you have problems Apple why are you selling it at 3rd party locations that you refuse to stand behind like Walmart and target... Or the fact between 2 and a 1/2 days I talked to 5 separate supervisors and nobody would even look into the fact on why the card numbers didn't match I'm not the only one that's going to have a problem this Christmas...
The Apple price is only worthwhile for products that have high pragmatic value and work consistently. Apple is no longer known for that quality with any consistency. Many products are getting worse every year or having accessories removed in order to maintain their profit margins despite global hardship and deflating. Robbing you with a smile then turning their back when anything goes wrong. Even products that require no manufacturing are getting worse very year, SIRI is atrocious and getting worse with every update. With the insane profit margins there is ZERO excuse for the disgusting quality they are outputting these days. They are the world's most overpriced dinosaur.
