The search for assisted living for your parent can be both emotional and overwhelming. A Place for Mom helped ease those feelings with their knowledge and assistance. Location (equal distance between my brother and I), cost, rating and levels of care offered were important criteria in our search. They made recommendation to assist in our search. They followed up frequently and offered guidance as needed.

A Place for Mom, specifically Lydia Lewis provided me with a supportive listening ear and a huge amount of potential senior nursing housing options. Since May, our mother was challenged with seven hospitalizations and Ms. Lydia Lewis's continuous calling reflected her high level of concern. Thank you a Place for Mom. Thank you Ms. Lewis.

I highly recommend advisor Becky Mayer and A Place for Mom! Caring for a senior loved one and making the big transition to a new home is often a very stressful process and APFM was truly the concierge we needed. Becky helped my with my dad's last 3 moves, including one cross country and two in which I was in a tight time constraint. Her background and knowledge working inside senior homes was valuable. She was kind and patient in her counsel, listened carefully to my concerns, gave sound advice and responded promptly to my needs. Within 24 hours, Becky reached out to and identified communities that would be a fit for my dad. At one location that was out of our budget, Becky took the extra step to start discussion with the sales rep in order to get costs down and she continued to offer her help to negotiate. With her assistance, I was able to get to a good price and move my dad into our first choice location. So glad to have Becky and APFM as my trusted go-to for help!

The help we received was phenomenal. Our laison, Lois, did above and beyond in guiding us, setting appointments, advice and answering questions. The journey has been long and hard but made so much more bearable with them helping us. We did choose one of the Memory Care centers which they connected us with and it is going well. We are very pleased and it has eased our hearts.

Our representative Joy is simply the best. She has guided us every step of the way. She remembers the situation, what is going on with mom, everything. Has given us tools to navigate finding a residence as well as self care for us. Always willing to help any way she can.

This service helped me quickly find a Senior Community for my husband that was entering hospice care. Home was not an option for us at this point.
