Our experience with APFM was personal and attentive, which was essential to finding and placing our loved one in a suitable living space. Cathy Emerson did extensive work finding homes, setting up visits, and consulting on the most fitting settings in terms of financial, geographic, and personal conditions. Honestly couldn't have done it without her. Highly recommend Cathy, she works so hard!

We had great service, everything was explained, our agent, sorry I cannot find her name, was amazing. She found a great number of places for us to check out and followed up with us afterward. We chose Orchard Park at Victory Lakes and my mom loves it. They have onsite drs that come in from utmb geriatrics, the can do xrays, bloodwork and whatever the patient needs onsite. Beauty salon, and the cook is not just a cook but a chef. He has 2 raised beds where he grows his vegetables fresh and has been on tv cook show "chopped". The staff is great, friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you so much

I was the information gatherer for my 92 yr. Old cousin and her family. When I signed up on the website I received great information about what to look for in an assisted living facility. There were quite a few checklists that were very handy. I would highly recommend A Home for Mom.

I was surprised at how involved and informed the representative was. I took her advise regarding the assisted living community and am pleased that I did.

The two people I dealt with were knowledgeable and quite nice. They kept in close touch, which sometimes was a bit much, but overall, they were great. They had excellent suggestions and helped us get appts etc.

Joe was so helpful as we navigated the difficult decision of finding more help for my mom. The guidance offered helped to calm my anxiety and helped me to realize what needed to be done.

Not knowing where to turn I called A Place for Mom. I received a tremendous amount of help and encouragement but my friend wasn't ready to give up her home so I put everything on hold. A couple of months later Karen gave me a follow up call. She helped me with strategies to encourage my friend to consider assisted living. The strategies worked. Karen also asked me a list of questions which allowed her to chose a place she imamagined my friend would like. I toured Brighton Gardens of Middletown and my friend moved into an apt there just yesterday. It is AMAZING! Karen has held my hand every step of the way and followed up often.

Everyone we interacted with with was kind and helpful. With soooo many options, it was a great time saver utilizing APFM's resources to narrow down places to look at. It was also great that they helped facilitate tours. I'd definitely recommend them!

A Place for Mom was just the help we needed. Although we had tried for years to get my parents into a safe independent to assisted living community, it was emergency surgery that eliminated going home as an option. With one requiring great care and the other largely independent, we were at a loss for what to do. A Place for Mom was our lifeline. Moreover, we live out of state. Lisa was perfect. She guided us through considerations and even took time to meet dad at the hospital to explain what would be happening next. Highly recommend A Place for Mom.
