Best Apartments Anywhere! Wisconsin's Best - West Ridge Apartments in Burlington! *****
Initially I dreaded relocating and moving from a house to an apartment, but after I visited West Ridge in Burlington over a year ago when I was in the process of trying to find a suitable apartment I was right away impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of Tina and Jeremy who patiently answered my questions and assisted with the paperwork. They made the transition go much smoother, and I haven't regretted moving here. It's just a wonderful place to be, because your home makes such a difference. I would definitely recommend West Ridge Apartments in Burlington Wisconsin as the ideal option for anyone who is tired of the stress of home ownership, but still wants to enjoy all of the amenities of a home, along with peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.
It was also such a thoughtful surprise and really nice touch to be greeted by Tina, the manager, on the first day with a very practical "Welcome to West Ridge" tote bag which included not only goodies from Chocolate City (Burlington) and other useful items, but also valuable information about the apartments and general area, such as stores, things to do etc. which is especially helpful for anyone relocating from another state or area.
The apartments are spacious, clean, with large closets and attractive decor. Having your own washer and dryer in the unit is so convenient, not to mention having your own balcony or porch and attached garage, as well as a separate entrance for each tenant. The grounds are beautifully maintained in the Summer, and kept plowed and salted in the Winter. The entire complex is park-like and well designed, and the little pond with the waterfall is so relaxing and beautiful to look at, especially during these trying times.
If any type of maintenance needs to be done, Tina and Jeremy always respond quickly and expertly. They are both courteous and responsive to questions, and keep tenants informed at all times. They are very professional and make a great team. I am also impressed by the safety standards of the apartments, such as fire and smoke alarms, which is not always the case in other places.
Kudos to Tina and Jeremy for being an exceptional management team that truly makes a difference because they care about the residents and the place, and I hope they will remain here so that West Ridge can maintain its unique character that sets it apart from most other apartment complexes. Along with cheese curds and beer, West Ridge is one of the best things that the beautiful state of Wisconsin offers! Thank you both and keep up the good work! Renate W.
I have lived here for 2 years and still love it!
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The apartments are spacious. And well laid out and you can really make them your own.
I have lived at the pointe of white marsh for 5 years. I really love living there. The staff there are very considerate, nice. I had a few leaks in my apartment and they came and fixed everything. Did a great job and I really appreciate it. I would recommend these apartments to any one looking for a nice place to live. Thank you again. Great Job...
Apartment.com deleted my review about Avion@ spectrum apts. I didn't even go into detail about the review, but I will now. Been living here 10 years, first 5 was great until they sold it to Prime. WOW! Avion Apts contracts Western Towing. During pandemic Covid-19 crisis, property manager RL does not care if your car is towed. The car is registered in their system and still gets towed! Western Towing and Avion Apts rules/regulation for parking both are not on the same page! Beware! Each resident is given 2 pass. 1 sticker and 1 guest pass. I lost both. I need to purchase 2 pass. Emails/calls to her colleague. Property manager response is "At this moment, you can purchase the 1 sticker parking permit, and your guest can park outside." As a resident, you are obligated to give a guest pass buy or not to the resident! In march till now, it's been consecutive. This week alone, Ive been waking up from 2-2:30a. M 6 nights straight because the loud car alarms are going off, and you look outside lights flashing and see its the towing company that they are in contract with. Its disappointing.
My daughter which is college in Birmingham Alabama found a nice apartment posted on Apartments.com. Turns out she was scammed out of $1000 due to it being a false advertisement. I blame Apartments.com for allowing this to happen through their site. Now she is being told that there is nothing that they can do. Of course! With that being said I discourage anyone from using this site because hackers are using it to scam people
The Listing is free and provides a well organized web page for your listing your rental property. Tracking prospective renters. Provides all rental services. Even allows prospective renter to call from apartments.com phone number and talk to landlord anonymously, brilliant.
I use all the websites to list our rentals and appreciate them all, but apartments.com is number one!
As apt. Manager sit in there lovely renovated office we residents that consists of children single parents the elderly and disabled are living in horrific condition in which was told to management several times even Advanced Management in which owns the Pathetic property
Yes, you guessed it freaking ROACHES & MICE are taking over every first floor apartment and some second floors in the back of complex. Then Advanced have the nerve to charge us for everything Including extermination of their critters this is screwed up some of us can't afford rent as the slum lords raise every year. Let alone do their humanism duties as freaking landlords No, don't move here true story recently a single parent move in tried to cook an ROACHES spread Why? The idiots painted over a nasty full of ROACHES STOVE Unbelievable she said she's moving after signing a year lease
DO NOT LIVE HERE. The apartments are nice but management is horrendous. When I first moved in, I don't think the place had even been cleaned professionally after the previous tenants left. The floor was filthy, several knobs were missing from kitchen cupboards and drawers, there were cigarette butts littered throughout the back patio area. Also, the "emergency maintenance number" is a lie. Make sure you only have emergencies during business hours or no one will do anything. This is my 3rd winter here and for the past 2 years the heating unit has broken in the cold. This year, the heater broke in November and again in December. I am currently on the third day of no heat. If maintenance arrives while we are not home, nothing happens. If we are home, they just turn the unit off and back on again. This will keep the heat on for 20-30 minutes before it goes out again. Every time my roommates or I call for status update, the staff either doesn't answer, says they will call back but don't, and/or act like we are making outrageous demands just for wanting heat in the winter. Also, as soon as you express even the slightest bit of frustration or emotion, they accuse you of threatening them. The leasing manager BANNED one of my roommates from the leasing office! Is that even a thing? Again, do not live here.
I had lived at Village Place for approximately 3 years. When my Husband and I first moved in, we were so happy but that was when Amy was in management. We lived in our first apartment for 10 months, but because the rent increase was outrageous,( $100 increase every year) we had then downsized to a smaller apartment when our lease was up. At that time the new property manager moved directly into our apartment with no complaints. We have then lived there for 2 more years, and still cannot believe what we have to deal with. If you like toga parties, murder in the parking lot, tethered felons as neighbors, this is your place. If you love Black mold and being talked down to and being discriminated against you will love it there. Now that we were able to move out permanently, they trumped up bogus charges and trying to collect on their mismanagement. Their staff is a revolving door, maintenance comes and goes! They advertise as having night patrol, they do not! In their advertisement they boost of having a security gate, which when you realize it is not working more than it is that tell you it is not a security gate. This is one of the most worst places to live, they do not honor your quiet right to enjoyment. Be careful moving out, they will try to hit you with any charges they can.
RUN! Some tenants don't meet requirements. Roaches roaches. If you want to leave someone where that is clean look else where.
I love living in 611 Park Ave, it is my favorite place, nice location especially being behind the Mt Vernon Park. The management Sattie and Brittany are very friendly and helpful. They made me feel at home. If I need maintenance they are very responsive and professional!
North lake village Apts are horrible. We had gotten a new manager she seems ok but not had much interaction with her. Jessica is super nice who tries to the best of her ability. Jenna is a piece of work. She's very judgmental, blames everyone else for their mistakes, she's sarcastic, not pleasant In the least. The maintenance staff is nice. The apartments are over priced. This place left a bitter taste in my mouth. It's sad that one seed in the bunch can ruin it for all.
I'm looking for a 3 or 4 Bedroom Apt. I'm having so much trouble finding another Apt in the area that we want stay and could afford. Because either not available or won't be until Nov 1. What few We did have them available find out their on the second floor the problem is the 2 family members I live with have mobility problems, 1 of them arthritic knees. Whats worse none of Apartment Complex don't tell you what floor these apt is on, when there is people out have mobility problems and can't walk up stairs.
P. S It SUCKS and trying to find Apt in Albuquerque, Especially when your Mom goes to the V. A to get Medical care and when you don't drive.
This is 1 of the worst places to live in Sanford by far! Poor Poor Management! They never honor their business hours, they never anwser the phone. This is supposed to be a gated community, the gate has been broken for 1.5 years. You can never use the computer lab and the fax machine is always broken. The waterfall sprinkler in back lake has been broken for 12 months and it use to work and sound so relaxing, but the poor mangement and maintenance staff will not fix it! Anyone can steal your mail because the mailboxes are all broken and they have been notified to fix and will not! And the kids in the neighborhood bully other children and they allow for individuals not on the lease to cohabitate in others Apartments, you could be leaving to a pedophile and you wouldn't even know it due to them allowing this type of behavior even after reporting it to Management. The property manager will not even give you a call to let you know if they are filing an eviction or not, just so they can recoup the stipulation money and attorneys fees, they don't ever communicate and you will never see the actual head property manager, supposedly she is too busy and she only responds to emails! The rent is too expensive for all of the POOR business practices to be going on! You will be a number to them and all they want is your money, hence the ongoing revolving door of renters. Most dont stay after 1 or 2 years of renting! Today I went to submit a notice to vacate during business hours and the POOR mgmt disappointed as usual and said she doesnt have time to take care of a resident concern, due to her needing to show a future residence a unit, mind you it was 5:24pm and the office closes at 6pm. I was also headed to the restroom and she said Im closing the office and didn't have time! The nerve of her to say that when the rent is $1300 per month. The maintenance have entered my unit without my permission and while my kids were home, which is a violation of my lease and someone recently tried to break in. Which is grounds for me to break my lease. The next step is to report them to the state of Florida and the BBB! Also the after school program, which is supposed to be complimentary for children ages 6 to 12 was closed recently without any warning and if you are a parent, think about how this can effect your household! POOR POOR APARTMENT COMPLEX, ONE OF THE WORST IN 20 YEARS OF RENTING! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPLEX, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Hillco Properites rents apartments in Highland Park, Deerfield, Wilmette, Barrington ILLINOIS should be AVOIDED like the plague. Any good reviews you read are posted by staff, one manager told me secretly. The owner is unethical. Does not respect female renters. Plays favorites with tenants. Everything is rosy until you sign lease. Managers only care about rent quotas, never address issues because they have no power. Every issue goes through owner, who is unresponsive and couldn't care less. Repair work takes forever and shoddy. Updated looking apartments cover up poor building structure in all the buildings they own. Walls so thin you can hear your neighbors breathe. In the summer, ants & mice. In the winter, mice.
During big snow events, good luck getting car out of the parking lots before 3pm. Single pane windows freeze shut with interior ice. You have zero control of heat in winter and single pane windows assure you of a cold apartment. We had to use space heaters.
Their hook is slightly lower rent in the area, but you get what you pay for, or less.
I don't want anyone to make the mistake we made by renting from Hillco. Keep looking.
Trust me, wherever you rent will be better than what they offer. Hillco is UNETHICAL
WORST place to live ever. I agree with Mia C.
Management is awful, rude, do not care about residents.
- Constant construction that violates residents rights, no notification of when it would start or when it will stop.
- No relocation option for residents during constructions.
- Hallways reek of hot sour garbage, weed and cheap air freshener. The main cause of this is the lack of trash chutes which means residents have to drag trash bags down the hall ways on each floor down multiple corridors to get to the one single trash chute per floor. You can actually see drizzle tracks in the hallways from leaky bags dripping garbage juice down the halls as people make the long voyage.
- Another fun fact, for some reason they lock you out of the payment portal if you haven't paid rent by the 3rd of the moth. God help you if you move in on the 5th and set up auto pay. You will find yourself in an endless loop of thinking auto pay has been set up but actually it just locks up on the 3rd of each month and charges you basically 10% late fee. Feels a lot like a scam if you ask me. Doesn't make sense to lock people out of being about to pay online if what you really want is for them to pay. What they really want is for you to get a late fee every month.
- There's also zero pool etiquette or oversight of rules resulting in lots of unsupervised kids running around, and babies in diapers in the pool. This happened so frequently that one of my neighbours actually invested in her own chemical pool safety test kit. In a word "naaasty"
- In spite of many complaints to management even to the corporate c-suite I never got any resolve on any of the complaints and ultimately decided to just pay the penalties to break my lease and get the hell out of this dump.
The only nice thing I can say about this place is that the concierge folks are very sweet.
The management sucks and the place is grossly stinky and too noisy. Would not recommend to even a hated enemy.
Not a great place to live.
Moving in, they said the carpet was new but it smelled like a dog. Took several weeks for the air to clear.
In the spring, almost the entire apartment was overrun with ants. Maintenance was notified, they came on a Friday to check, said they would have someone out next week. The apartment was inundated with ants all weekend. Spent hours spraying and cleaning. Had to throw away food. Lost a lot of money on food and ant spray.
Also asked for the patio screen door to be fixed, they fixed it so well it was broke immediately after.
These things are just minor though and could be dealt with. The biggest concern is the lack of concern for the tenants. Management comes off as very corporate, not understanding to the plight of single mothers and their safety. When we needed to move due to an ex, (he moved in two buildings away and became verbally abusive), they were sure to charge outrageous termination fees. We asked for some compassion but they said they could not do anything unless there was official police documentation. Corporate policy to be sure, they are about the almighty dollar.
Please beware everyone.
The Meadows Apartment in Jonesboro, Arkansas has a new manager named Billy. He is a terrible manager. He bully's the older women and flirts with the younger women. He is never in the office especially when rent is due. He drives a Uber that must be where he spends his working hours at. He will not get anyone to fix things. The worse manager you could ever have, that is why the place is going down.
BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! ZRS MANAGEMENT WILL RIP YOU OFF!
My intention is to make you, the future tenant aware of this corrupt ZRS Management that runs the Collection Apartments. The property itself and its location is the selling point for most potential tenants. Unfortunately, it's being run with a management company that will RIP YOU OFF. If you go online and check ZRS management reviews, you'll discover their philosophy of making existing tenants that are at the end of their lease or parting with the property to pay and make the place new again. For example, you live in a place for 2=3 years, they make you pay $300 and $500 to replace the carpet for the new tenant, plenty of excuses they make up to make you pay for repairs as such.
I will save myself the headache of writing everything else within this property, plenty of negative reviews you can read on your own and I'll get to my point. Everything is beautiful when they sign you up as you can see from the 5 star reviews upfront, but wait till you decide to leave or vacate the property. Regardless of how much security deposit you have with them, they'll rack up your final statement. Whatever the final statement will be, is what you will need to pay. They can decide how much they want to get out of you or they will simply send you to collections. We were one of the early tenants, lived there for 2 ½ years and always paid on time. Not to say we were totally happy, but moving is difficult and we just made it through. There is no negotiations with the final statement, which can range from $500 up to $2,500.00 which we've seen. They will certainly use the extent of the contract and make you pay, or as they simply put it, we'll send you to collections. If you care about credit, then you have very little choice but to pay. They find every little way to snatch money out of you, pet friendly property, it's a joke. They swab your dogs and charge you incase you accidently miss to pick up your dog's poop. Breaking into homes happens without the office mentioning a word to residents until fully pressured. Leaks and damages to your belongings, simply file with your insurance. Security at minimum, garage doors are easy for criminals, always broken. So many issues with this property, GOOD LUCK TO YOU POTENTIAL TENANT, ENJOY LIVING AT THE COLLECTIONS!
If your heart is settled and decide to live at The Collections, do yourself this justice and make sure you ask them to sign that your final statement does not exceed your security deposit. This way you're protected, at least they'll only take the money you agree to give up. Good luck on getting your security deposit back.
Let me also, reply to my own review with what they'll be writing after they see this review. What a joke!

As a current resident for nine years, I am completely happy with the staff and maintenance of Reserve At The Winding Creek! They are very efficient and timely when addressing needs of residents. Property is very well maintained and a safe place to reside.
