Renter beware
Save all your receipts and document any agreements! The landlord will lie and claim you owe past due debt at the end even if he never mention it before. At times he gives sticky notes or small pieces of paper as a receipt, so keep every thing. He is unorganized and very forgetful.
Maintenance
The landlord is the maintenance and attempts to fix issues cheaply. He uses quick fix solutions from home depot/lowes.
Broken water heater wasn't fixed until two weeks later. He forgot he gave us a discount on rent because of it and is now claiming we missed a payment. The balcony holds large pools of water.
Pest
Put it all in writing and send it to him. Record how long it takes for action to be taken.
Look along the floor perimeter for opening to have the sealed. This is how the pest travel through the apartment. Pest control comes once a month and sprays only the kitchen. Pests I've encountered below.
Mice
Nutes
Roaches
Spiders
Sinapede
Amenities
What amenities?!
Bath tub was painted white so each time you use it you'll gave small sheets of plastic paint on you
The fridge leaks water, a towel must be kept under it.
The toilet leaks water, a bowl must be kept under it.
The bathroom sink leaks water, a bowl must be kept under it.
Stove underside is filthy with built up food and grime on the surface.
The air conditioner stopped working. Most likely because there is no filter in it. There's also openings where light shines through the wall near the air conditioner.

SO BAD
October 25, 2020

My experience with Spring Gardens/Corsa Management is that they are crooked, lying, evil people. In my opinion, they are misrepresenting themselves by claiming that they put their residents first. It appears to me that putting money in their pocket comes first. Though they increase the rent every year my apartment still has the 1970's beat up old junk in it and they do not want to update anything. When I asked if I could have better, full-size appliances I was told that I had to buy them myself. It's only fair that if they are charging various tenants the same rent then the apartments should be comparable, but that is absolutely not the case and can very easily be proven. Maintenance has been horrible, abusive, and disrespectful. Please do not be fooled by the "pretty" pictures on their website or by a quick drive-through. They are very deceptive. These apartments do not have an extremely high turnover rate for no reason. It has also been my experience that they discriminate against certain tenants. Believe what you choose to and rent at your own risk.

Impossible
October 24, 2020

I have put one apartment on apartments.com. I am the landlord. I have found it very difficult on their website to put an apartment on there, to know that your apartment is on there. Their website is awful. I will never use it again. I never got a call because I don't know that it was even on there and they don't send you like an email that tells you hey thanks for putting your apartment on there. Terrible website and never again

They Remove Real Resident's Reviews
October 23, 2020

Apartments.com removed my honest, truthful and non harmful review of Avery Dania Place today. I even had pictures to go with it. The property took it down twice-possibly because they know they're really in the wrong.
It's funny how both times I tried to post it, there were new reviews from mystery people popping up. Apartments.com could at least not be so biased, and have legit reviews from real residents, not paid reviewers from the property. How is that even right? Is this some other country where no one can speak against the "wondrous" property that is violating people's security rights?

Anyways, here is my original review:
"Went to visit a friend here. This latch system they have gave a history of everyone who has ever used it. With WHOLE names AND pictures. Talk about no respect for your privacy. Idk my friend says he doesn't remember signing anything that said the whole world would know when you or your guests come and go & thru which door. Seems like such an invasion of privacy and in 2020 I can't believe that's legit!?! I know I'm not going back, I don't need the residents and their visitors knowing me, what I look like or when and where I was. Pretty unbelievable"

I am a building owner and signed up for the 3 months gold plan to advertise an apartment that I had for rent.
Two weeks before the ad agreement was to end I contacted the representative that had handled the ad and informed him by email that I had indeed rented the apartment and would no longer want to renew the ad. He responded to my email and said ok that he" submitted the cancellation and everything was set for the ad not to renew".
The following month I received a statement from Apartments.com billing for the months ad.
I contacted the representative and told him about the bill and he stated that he would look into it and that it must be an error on their part.
This month I received another bill now for 2 months of ads.
I contacted the representative and he said the ad had gone another month, that it will cancell at the end of these next 3 months and that I was supposed to cancell 60 days prior to the new billing cycle.
He never mentioned the 60 days to me... ever.!
I would have cancelled 60 days prior.
In all of our conversations this was never discussed.
I asked to speak with his boss, of course his boss was in a meeting. I left a message for his boss to discuss this with me and I am still waiting.
This scam will end up costing me 1600. 00 roughly.
Not good business practices and I feel that I have been more than scammed.
Beware

Sad but now Happy
August 25, 2020

I recently moved to Maryland from New York I thought I had found the perfect home at the Brittany Apts. Until I ran into some problems with my application, after getting all but my photo of my license in order I asked the young lady if I could just bring her my license the next day she replied if I could not get a copy of my licence that day my application would be incomplete and there was nothing she could do to help me so in my fustration I told her to remove me, terrible customer relation skills. I then put an application at the Volterra Apts. And told them what had happened at the Brittany, the lady (Alicia) at the Volterra Apts. Went all out to get me an apartment and gave me the courtesy of giving me all the help I needed to give me my new home. I will always be thankful for all her help. People like this should be recognized for there job performance.

Scammers look up the addresses on REAL Sites. They then find the real owner's name from county records. Then go to this site set up a cheaper rental offer. Once they have stolen first and last month rent plus deposit from you and everyone else they can, they walk away laughing. This site does nothing to verify that the person placing the ad is the owner or has the authority to place an ad. They, therefore, are actively aiding the scam. I will be suing them and everyone that has been scammed should joint me in a class action against them. >>contact me at *******@gmail.com

KTUL channel 2 Problem Solvers did a news report on the Country Club Gardens Senior population safety issue on August 18,2020 on their 6pm broadcast.
On 8/17/20, I awoke to numerous phone calls from my neighbors alerting me of two cars in our parking lot that were doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire.
Yes, on fire!
Unfortunately, it was not enough to alarm our manager, Violet Weaver, to update our security. For the past year, the Residents have continually requested additional security for our Senior building and parked cars.
Residents have documented the escalation of vandalism of the Senior's residence and automobiles. We are terrified! Think twice before you move here…. Oh yes, the management team explained to the residents, they are not required to provided Security to this property... No Security! Look at the attached pictures of the torched cars... No Security provided! But, absolutely needed. Don't wake up to this horror...

Horrible experience in Apex, milpitas
August 18, 2020

- Fire alarm is broken. It starts at 3: am, late night, during middle of the day while in meetings. The community manager in August 2020 said it's not their problem it's normal
- the elevator is broken and took 1 month to fix. The community manger said it's part of maintainable and people who live in 4th floor is not their problem
- the trash overflows and the building leasing office don't take any action to fix it
- during covid there is no services provided I. E gym, jacuzzi, pool and the community manager said the night rent is charged not for any community service or any of it is their responsibility. They charge high rent only to stay inside the apartment.
- there is so much disturbance and people don't know any rules and community manager says he doesn't care. If you move in to Apex it's what you get for staying in the community

I have lived in Plantation Club since 2017 and I can honestly say it's the best apartment community that I have ever lived in! The wonderful office staff, Eric, Brian and Judy, keep the community running well like a fine tuned machine and the maintenance staff, Julio and John almost seem to anticipate my maintenance needs. They always show up promptly and are extremely efficient! Everyone here is courteous and friendly and I don't ever plan on moving from here! Percy P.

DO NOT MOVE HERE
August 5, 2020

DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Awful place to live. Worst decision I ever made. Pinnacle Mgt is horrible. Maintenance takes weeks to fix an issue. That is if they do not cancel your request first.

Drugs coming in and out as well as cops. People in the front office are rude and do not know anything. Sent multiple emails to the manager and he, Scott, just ignores me. The parking is ridiculous, they charge you to have a place to park.

Building 2 is infested with roaches. Mgt simply will not take care of the problem. Multiple requests are ignored.

Governeour Manor Apartments
August 5, 2020

I moved in 3 years ago. I love the staff, they listen to you and fix any problems you have. Plus there is a Pool that is well kept up daily. Pet friendly too. Each building has a laundry room too. Great activities like BBQ with Prizes, making Smors, Bingo out door movie on the lawn by the office with popcorn. I don't know of any other apartment complex that does this. Come check them out

Daughter is looking for apartment and asked me to be guarantor. First time ever that I'd have to PAY to be vetted as guarantor. My credit score is 850 and it would have cost the company ¢10 to verify it online. Practice is abusive and a foil for running what amounts to a simple ripoff scheme. Best to avoid this "company "!

Waste of application fees
July 25, 2020

My college daughter and her roommate used apartments.com to look for their apartment for the upcoming school year. They found several they like so they created and application along with roommate's father and me at $25 each. $100 to apartments.com and we didn't hear back on a single rental! Not even "property is no longer available". We got absolutely nothing from the process.
