Giovanni of NJ Contractors built a brick mailbox for me and he was absolutely amazing. He built this mailbox that came out to be stupendous and he built in in 4 hours. He is very meticulous and most of all he is a man of word and totally reliable. He is a person you can trust and he is very punctual and true to his word. I would recommend him without hesitation and I give him very high marks.

They totally lied to me when I signed up as a contractor. They said that I would only get charged for the leads that I closed. After a week I decided I didn't want to continue. I emailed the rep I spoke with before and couldn't get a response. When I called the CS they said they would give me free leads to stay. A TOTAL LIE! I WAS CHARGED OVER $500 for the "leads". They even set up "appointments" without my knowledge with clients who also didn't know there was an appointment. When you complain and want your money back, they say the only way to get your money back is to accept "free" leads. Then, neither happens! Not the refund nor the free leads. They've taken almost $1000 from me! They are a rip off when it comes to the contractors. They also sell your information. I've been getting txt messages from groups of numbers supposedly looking for contractors in my field. Scammers!

Follow up with a phone conversation confirming my appointment.
Waited 4-5 days
One hour before my appointment I received a cancellation text.
So unprofessional
Hope I can get my money back.

At this point Angi is useless. Twice now I have scheduled a duct cleaner to come to my home. Twice I received confirmation and text followups, etc. Twice the contractor phone numbers are not active and cant be reached. Twice they never show. I have waited 3 hours now and no contractor even after Angi's confirmation. I will now call the customer service and complain and speak to someone in India that hasn't a clue. This is the last time I will use them and can not recommend Angi to anyone.

The day before a handyman was scheduled to arrive I wasn't feeling well so I rescheduled. The website said I would be charged a $15 fee because it was 24 hours out, which was understandable. Unfortunately, I was inexplicably charged the full price of the visit twice ($270x2) plus 15 twice ($15x2) for a total of 4 charges equaling $570, which when you are expecting to be charged $280 on a debit card is a lot. Emailing customer service was a nightmare, no apology was given and it took a lot of back and forth before they would remove two of the charges. They kept treating me like I had done something wrong and the emails ranged from condescending to absurd. They kept acting like I was asking for money back due to some mistake on my part and it was clear no one was actually reading the emails. Once they finally agreed to a credit it took almost 5 days for the credit to appear in my account. No one could give me a written assurance I wouldn't be charged again after the visit, so I was fairly anxious to even keep the appointment. The handy man who showed up was fantastic, but there is no way I will use Angi again for any reason. Imagine the nightmare on a more expensive job.

Just tough to figure out how to navigate. I don't know if or when I an in the fixed price quote or in an area the just launches multiple requests for quotes. I am unable to figure out how to just simply put in a name of a contractor to review their stats. Summary - a constant struggle to get to the data directly. Also this is the third review entered in the system so I dont know where the previous attempt disappeared.

Very bad reporting co. Lie after lie after lie. Sorry you do not know how to review. You people can go on and lie. Still do not get Free work or can not use lies to get something for free. One coustmer that lies is a SAMSUNG WASHER. HAD A CONTRACT THAY WOULD NOT SHOW UP. BECAUSE OF BEING SICK FOR A MONTH SO CALLED US OUT. WE SHOWED UP AND FIX 1 PROBLEM AND TRYED 5 TIMES TO FIX THE RUBBER BOOTH. BUT WRONG PART. COUSTMER WENT ON ANGIE AND SAID WE NEVER SHOWED UP OR NEVER RETURNED HER CALL'S. SORRY ANGIE OR WHO EVER YOU ARE SORRY YOU LIE TOO.

I would recommend this company to anyone. If you need service without guessing this company is the one. They will let you know on the spot what you really need but its your choice to pick whom ever you need

No way to track my home improvement contractor, really sad for me! They did not do satisfactory work
