"Jim and his business partner, Bob, are the best contractors we have ever worked with. This is saying a lot since I'm 75 and my husband is 83, and we've had a lot of contractors help us with home projects over the decades. Thoughtful, reliable, prompt, pleasant to work with. From start to finish, the best -- actually, before starting! This job was very important to us -- we have mobility issues, and our new home had very steep steps that we needed to be made shorter so we wouldn't fall. When we were contacting contractors for this job, Jim replied promptly. But he did more than that, he answered every one of our many questions thoughtfully, and he added safety information that we weren't aware of, information that turned out to be critical for us. Jim always kept in touch, according to the timeline he promised, during the window when we were setting up the schedule for the job. When the job started, Jim and his crew were always on time, they cleaned up spotlessly at the end of each day, and they checked as the job went along to make sure it was in line with what we needed because they understood how important it was for us. This job was a bit problematic because of odd features of our older Broad Ripple house. A total pleasure to work with such reliable, skilled, pleasant, and kind professionals. We love our new stairs! Alan Kanelopoulos - Want a great company. I called them and said my AC was not working and Soto said he would get to me around 3:30. They was here at 3:33. The tic was name Rick he came in and started to work and find the problem in 15 minutes. The owner came out to see how its was going. Soto the owner started to help Rick do the job. I will use them again and I will ask for Rick. It say a lot about a company when the owner shows up. There price was great. Its was nice to see them come in van with supplys in there van. The van had there names on them. When Rick was cleaning up Soto took time to show me the bad part. Again they are a five star company to me.

The great thing about Angi is there are hundreds of service providers, choosing one often seems to be a random experience. However, with Angi you can read the ratings by customers who have actually used the service. This has two benefits -- first, it gives you guidance to an already rated capable and worthy provider. Second, that provider knows you're likely to write a review of his or her work. That gives them extra incentive to do the best possible job for a customer referred to them by Angi.

I was scheduled to have someone come out to clean my apartment on the 27th. After waiting for an hour, I reached out to the main office. I was assured that I would have some one there 48 hrs. Later.

48hrs have passed and once again, another no show. I will never use this service ever again. I will search for another service and hope that this firm goes bankrupt.

I hired a "window washing professional" through Angi - but instead got an inexperienced, completely unprofessional guy who's real job was food service and just needed extra cash for a new baby. He did a terrible job, leaving dirty splash and drip marks on window sills, walls and dark puddles on my carpet. He left big dirty streaks on window's, and he BROKE SIX WINDOW SCREENS! When I complained to ANGI - they refused dee half of my fee - which was ridiculous: first: I shouldn't; have had to pay anythingbecause the job was so bad he left windows worse than when he arrived, and second, I still have to do a lot of clean up and buy six new window screens.

It was harder to leave a review than it used to be. I had to go to Angi.com, sign into my membership, find where to leave a review, and find the business I wanted to review.

It seems like the integration w/pros to source reviews has been broken. I tried to leave a review for my Greenix service by clicking the Angie's List logo in the greenix email following up after my service, but couldn't. The link to their profile on Angi gave me a 404 error after trying to redirect me from an angie's list.com address to Angi.com.

To leave a review on Angi for the service, I had to go to Angi.com, sign into my membership (must be a member to leave a review), find where to leave a review, and find the business I wanted to review.

We had a really great experience with Uxbridge Stump & Tree Removal. They were
Very talented and efficient. A number of trees were standing very near the house and
Electrical cables connecting the house to the grid and not any mistakes that could cause damage. They were very professional and their cleanup was spotless. They even returned the next morning to remove a couple of big stumps and when done,
Our home and property was perfectly cleaned up without any damage of any kind.
Their cordial approach to communicating and asking for input of what we needed done as they progressed was very pleasant. They really wanted to make sure me
And my wife ended up pleased with the finished work they provided. They even removed several large portions of trunks of pine that was not part of the original proposal. It was a really nice experience and we will likely ask for more work next year. All in all, we highly recommend Uxbridge Stump and Tree Removal for any tree work of any size. A family business focusing on personal service of excellence.

I came to Angi's list seeking help with my concrete and railing to my front steps.
I normally don't go through a third party because I did not want my information shared with too many unknown folks.
I used Angi list for help to get the job done since it wasn't a major project.
Boy….! Was I disappointed and still remain in a state of shock!
They sent this train wreck of a professional person to my home with all my information regarding job, address, my name and contact number.
He was supposed to use concrete to secure and correct my concrete in my walkway but instead this Jack of No trade did the opposite…. He used tar for the roof all in front of my home that my place looks like an amateur did the work!
I contacted Angi list to see what the hell happened…?
They of course did not want to take responsibility to this mess, kept giving me more referrals and contacts to speak to.
Finally this unfriendly company announced that they are not responsible and it was MY fault why my front walkway looks like this.
Really….?
So my advise is to leave Angi list alone and to go back to the old fashion way of recommending a person to do work for your home.
Beware of wolfs in sheep's clothing such as Angi's list…!

Please understand you will be given a manager who you can ONLY talk to! There is no one else outside of this person. Also, YOU ARE UNDER CONTRACT - you have to pay even if you decide to cancel. If you decide to lower your monthly amount - THEY WILL SAY BASED ON YOUR LOCATION YOU CAN'T LOWER YOUR PAYMENT! After 2 months I paid a total of $1,350 for $300 month leads and only received 1 job ($250) that fit the services I offered. No one has reached out to me and once they have access to you bank account, the money will be taken without your consent - even if you cancel!

We received the handyman contractor suggestions from Angi and were in the process of selecting a contractor, working out the details of what was to be done, and how much it would cost directly with our chosen contractor. But Angi kept sending us ads for other contractors, both for handyman work and other work that we were not interested in. They even sent a contractor to our house to give us another estimate without our consent.
