Set dates for my repair 3 times no one ever showed up, these people are the worst bunch of idiots I have ever dealt with! They couldn't be trusted for building a dog house. I will never contact them again and would advise you do the same!
Quick response when I called for an estimate to trim or remove about 10 trees. The owner, Jesse Morgan, volunteered proof of current license and insurance. I thought that was very professional, since I usually have to ask for both. At the time of the estimate, he provided valuable insight on several projects we were thinking about. He also advised on trimming vs. removing trees that were close to the house, whether we could save some older trees that had fungus, and reminded us of a safety hazard we had forgotten about (a tree that grown into telephone wires). When he and his crew returned to do the work, they removed 5 trees. It was fast and thorough, including cleanup. We would use All American Tree Service again and would recommend to anyone. Even though we found him because of a flyer rather than through Angi, we use Angi enough that I wanted to post here as well as on google.
I often want to check out a particular company on Angi. However, there does not seem to be any way to search for an individual company. For me, this is a serious flaw.
A more intrusive, difficult to use program never existed. Incessant demands to install their stupid app... cannot review communications online, only thru app... online site is for searching for providers and nothing else... Cancelling Angi and will never use again. Definitely not as good as Angie's List was.
Don't waste your time booking thru Angi. Sat around all morning and they didn't show up. I needed carpet strteching. I should have know there was a problem when I received a call the day before the appointment and the guy that was supposed to come out told me he would have get rent a carpet stretcher to do the job. What kind of carpet professional does not have a carpet stretcher?
Angi works hard getting the professionals I need to complete the jobs. They offer many different companies to choose from and I have hired great companies while using the app.
Penny was very professional and completely the appraisal on time as promised!
I'm a contractor who joined angies list, what a ripoff, if you like making money when you work, don't join, because the only people who make anything is them, after trying them for 6 months I lost over a thousand dollars paid to them for nothing but bogus leads, I made nothing, and when a call did pan out, they made more than me and I did the work, so if you like losing money then join, when you call them, no help, the people on the other end barely speak English Angies List. NOTHING BUT A RIPOFF
I am a small family business that has been shut down up till the beginning of this year due to covid. So I've been back to work and decided I needed to do some advertising I spoke with Angie's list and was 100% completely misled and lied to by their sales team and then and then put under contract and not allowed to break it without paying $1800. I will admit my guard was down but not anymore just want to warn other contractors they are liars and thieves spend your money somewhere else.
We had 6 different painters come out and give us quotes on the job. We chose the best proposal.
I enjoy the ease of use. My search helps me find more with this app. Thanks
Dave was very professional and on time. He got all the dog hair off my couches and had them smelling and looking better than new. He also removed the urine stains from the carpet and had it looking amazing
Angi's list is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No regard for making it right by the customer when they make a mistake. I was so upset by the end of every interaction trying to reconcile the issue. Do yourself a favor and schedule through local companies yourself- it would have been much easier and less frustration in the end.
Please add comments from first part of review in addition to these comments. I requested extra projects to be done and they graciously accepted. They always explained things ahead of time. I didn't add photos because I didn't take "before " photos so there's nothing to compare. It was all top quality work‼ The clincher in this deal was that they gave me a set price which would not go up even if they had to do extra work or buy extra materials.
I was with angi for about a year, I got a client from a friend and found out they searched angi for a contractor, my company did not come up in there search, $85,000 dollars of work went to home depot contractors instead, I will never use or recommend angi for anything ever again
I am a contractor and was using Angie's list it worked well for about a month but after that when you try to turn your leads off they kept charging me for Leads I wasn't using and they kept lying to me saying they weren't but they kept charging my credit save your money don
Was very happy overall! Filled out forms that led to a couple calls from interested contractors. Got quotes and ended up soliciting business from one of them and the work was completed above my expectations. Clean, nice, good price and very professional. Very pleased about the whole process from beginning to the end.
Angi's subscription is inexpensive, so you can get your money back and more in one referral. But their search function is poor -- it's impossible to just look up a company, and I often can't find a suitable company because they only allow you to search pre-determined tasks. I also don't like that their algorithm recommends vendors over an hour away. Start by limiting the search to companies that are within 5 miles of home. Then ignore their aggressive marketing of companies that pay them fees. Companies listed lower down with a 4.6 average of many ratings are a good bet.
Very lucky to have found J P Plumbing and heating. Very positive experience.
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
