I contacted Chris (owner) of Sterling Construction for kitchen floor repairs and they did it all. From joist, subfloor and finished with Vinyl planks. Kitchen looks amazing. Best thing I like about the company is that he stayed in contact with me through the whole process and got the job done. Thanks again Chris for your expertise and for my Kitchen floor. Very satisfied customer.

I hired Angi's for a driveway sealer. I was told that if I got a membership to Angi's, I would get a discount and would not be charged for any service until completion. I was told that if I am not completely satisfied, there would be no charge. The asphalt sealer showed up and told me that I am supposed to provide the sealant. I was not told this. I used my cancellation rights, and was told by Angi's that I would be charged over $100 but I am not sure why as I couldn't understand her accent. I told her the promises that were made to me, however she insisted there is nothing she can do. DO NOT USE ANGI's for anything ever!

I had a paver Patio built in my backyard by Best landscape Construction company and they did an excellent job. The workers were professional and came on time every day and started work. The job did not take a long time to finish. And it came out the way I wanted it to look. I am very pleased with the finished look. The workers did not leave any trash or debris outside my property which is connected to the alley so it would be clean after the job was finished. I would highly recommend this company.

First time using Angis List. I was told my credit card would not be charged until services were complete. I was not told that I would be charged even if I didn't use the service. I ended up not having any work done so I cancelled it online. I look at my credit card statement and there is a $500 charge so I called and they refused to refund me. Then they said we can give you 50% back and a 50% off coupon they must be crazy. When I asked why I can't get a full refund I was told because he came out.So I called the credit card company to dispute.

This is a platform for advertisers, not for common folks. The number of "sponsored" listings is so huge, one could barely see the real ones. In addition, the platform is designed in a way that makes it hard for a new person on the platform do distinguish paid from free listings. I wish I knew this before signing up with them.

I needed a professional Electrician, and found an "Angi Approved" one. Joe Gatto (Owner) called me quickly. He listened carefully to my problem (a sparking dryer outlet!), and said he could come the next morning. Joe analyzed the problem and replaced the outlet. From start to finish, I was impressed with his clarity, skill, efficiency and sincere, friendly spirit. I highly recommend Joe Gatto due to my excellent experience with his professionalism!

I originally signed up with Home Advisor a few years ago for leads. Most leads didn't work out for one reason or another but they were good to credit for bad leads. Now that Angi has bought out Home Advisor they refuse to credit bad leads. I have had several recent leads that the customers did not have the finances for the project (expecting to build a 5 bdrm home for $100,000.00). Angi refuses to credit due to finances. I'm stuck with a bunch of useless leads that are over $100 each. The service is a ripoff.
