First it is extremely hard to deal with their customer support team. Also when you receive a lead there may be 15 other people in your area that received the same lead. All of the people who received the lead pay for it. And the leads are way over priced. Terrible service I do not recommend using it. Thumbtack is better because the home owner calls you.

We bought a house and wanted it cleaned before we moved in. The original company I hired had an emergency and had to cancel the day before they were scheduled to clean. Mgp responded to my message of needing someone the next day. They were able to squeeze me in. Then they called back and said they would detail the house that evening. The next day we went to the house with the moving truck and you could smell the cleanliness before opening the door! The housed sparkled and smelled wonderful! Ceiling fans, windows, base boards, appliances etc. were clean! Mgp helped make our move in smoother. Thank you!

I got the service b/c a neighbor recommended them. So far, I've only had issues. When I search for a service they automatically set up an unwanted appointment. They keep sending me Handyman services when I'm looking for a Locksmith or Plumber specifically. I have requested to be called before they send anyone over and that never happens, resulting in people showing up without the right tools and/or equipment, because they do not know what I need. Then they expect me to pay for a service call that was not what I wanted. So far, their services are not at all helpful, on the contrary, they are costing me money and nothing I've needed has come out of my membership with them. The people that I have been able to work with are through my neigborhood app. And not through Angi. Would definitely NOT recommend them.

I was a landscape company that has worked with home advisor for 4 years with a 4.8 out of 5 stars. Ever since they joined with Angie I feel there main goal is money no matter if it screws us contractors over. The site don't allow customer to browse instead forces them to fill out there info and automatically generate a lead to charge us whether or not the customer is ready to start there project. With home advisor I had a 75 percent success rate with getting work. Now 80 percent of the customers don't even pick up the phone. Following there criteria with calling back customers I still get charged and denied credit. Iv since changed banking information to stop bogus charges. We will see if they contact me when they are not paid

One girl from Angi leads called me and she said that she had a job to start on the same day, she put all the urgency for me to signup for their services and to the background check, she said that they wouldn't charge me anything, she promised me! Ended that the jog was a lie, to attract me and make me to signed and I also ended up paying. She just robbed me and lied about job

I have been trying to cancel my account with Angi for months. I can never get my rep on the phone, & he never responds to my emails. Customer service says he's the only one that can cancel it. The leads I have received have been either out of state and/or entirely fake leads. They continuously charge my card $300 per month. This has been a terrible experience, would not recommend.

Prepaid for gutter work. Handyman said he would not finish job unless I paid more. This was after he started job. I felt I had no choice but to pay him $150 more other wise I would be left with a mess and unfinished work. I agreed I owed him roughly $20 for one downspout. Angi indicated I was on my own and no adjustment would be made.

I am a licensed plumber Sewer & drain tech here in Indiana. I thought it would be nice to give Angie's leads a try since I've been doing okay but with the economy the way it's been I could be doing better. I use them back in the day to help get my business started and since starting my membership with them it all came back the memories the problems I had with them so my advice to any business owner is do not walk but run to the nearest exit do not do business with Angie Leads first off the people nowadays that are requesting leads really don't understand that you're paying for these leads so they don't give a damn if they don't want to talk to you or whatever reason they feel that they don't want to communicate. So with my new membership I got four leads in the first couple of days and none of them worked out yes they did credit me on two of the leads but I couldn't get no refund on the other two you could mark this up to the cost of doing business but here's the really good part that people need to considered before joining into this membership with the devil is that when you put your $300 up for these leads not to mention the cost of the membership there is no refund, Nada you get nothing back oh you didn't know you just got screwed so my advice is do not do business with them, especially if you have to deal with the kind of clientele that's calling in any business person will tell you that contact talking with the customers is the most important element with your first contact, selling yourself selling your product or services if you can't even get them to return the call they hang up on you well you're just pretty much screwed and you paid to be screwed enough said I've been doing business for 35 plus years so you can take or leave my advice you got money to burn go for it otherwise run.

Had Mike give me a call. He came over and gavebme an estimate explaining everything he was going to do. He and his son Allen came and took apart the casings around 14 window and all had No Insulation. They put insulation in, put back casings, caulked and painted all. They were both very professional and keep me up to date on all. Felt very comfortable with both in my house. In fact I'm hiring them to do another job. Would highly recommend them to anyone. When they started work they never stopped till time to leave. Before they would leave they would clean up and you would never know that anyone was ever there.

Two people on the phone said the bid was for the entire job. That's not true. They underbid and get you to sign up, promising savings, but then the contractor can't finish and you have to add time to the job. The job costs the same as it would have if you just would have Googled someone. I had a chat option in the app to contact support and I complained to them this morning. I was debating canceling the subscription and told them that I needed to think about it. Now, there is no chat option, just a feedback form for how much you like or dislike the app. WTH? They send a great deal of spam as well. Overall, I'm really disappointed with Angi. The one bright spot in this experience is that I found an honest contractor to help me. I guess I should give Angi credit for the introduction. I'm still chapped about the misleading sales pitch and the mystery disappearing support options though. Update 3/12/22: After a number of complaints to Angi, I have received several emails now with a link on how to cancel the membership. Wow. That's kind of a giant FU. I took these emails to mean "if you don't like our practices, shop somewhere else." I will absolutely do that.
