You get a list of pro in the area, not guess work like a Google search. Real Professionals! Angie calls to verify that you hear back from someone. And if not the send you their top rated pro. It's like having your own personal assistant. I love Angi!

I have tried Angi for over a year now for our flooring business. We did receive some good leads, but you definitely have to sift through A LOT of crap leads to get any decent ones. I would call people and they would ask how I got their number, they never asked for services I was providing. I would receive leads that were not the same person on the leads. So many leads didn't even answer their phone or messages but cost upwards of $100/lead! We were basically throwing money away left and right. I called many times to see how they could assist and they would give credits or pause leads etc. It was basically putting a band-aid on the bigger problem which was they were selling people's information unknowingly. I would not be happy knowing that my information was being put out there for tons of people to see and then dealing with the endless calling of contractors simply trying to help.

We scheduled a job with Angi then cancelled it the same day. We tried cancelling it everyday for 4 days. We were assured we had done so, but continued to receive confirmation emails. They took the money anyway, and refused any refund. The job was never done either. They scammed us, we should have done more research first. Don't let this happen to you.

Done Right Carpentry has completed total interior upgrades and rennovations for me, as well as many exterior improvements. I recently refinanced my house and the appraisel came in at over 145% of what I paid. Of course the costs were 1/2 that amount. My favorite projects were that Mark took a small choppy 1/2 bath and converted it into an elligant, larger full bathroom, next to a new bedroom that he added. My kitchen, dining, and living rooms were all small rooms from 50 years ago. Mark added an attic beam and created a Great Room that is now the home's focal point. The gems of the Great Room are new two tone custom cabinets, crown molding, custom island, quartz counter tops, new appliances, shiplap wall, custom built mantle. And new floors. The website is hard to navigate. They keep trying to force you into scheduling through Angie and letting them choose the company to use. It's hard to navigate to where you can read about companies and their reviews which used to be very easy through Angie's List and really is the reason for using this site. I couldn't get a quote or message response from my chosen company through Angie. The company claimed they never received the messages. My project disappeared from the mobile app but is on the website. An Angie representative said the mobile app is a beta program and they are working on it. I changed my contact information online but when I talked to an Angie representative the changes were not on their system. I was sent to another rep who changed it on his computer but I continue to get texts on the wrong phone number. It's been pretty much a hassle trying to use Angi and I went to other similar sites to find a company for my project. I did get one call from a rep who was very helpful.

I kept getting bogus unverified leads each time I requested a credit they denied it even if they failed to reach the customer… I recently did a job on Monday the customer paid through Angie's pay on the app they still haven't paid me … Another customer paid on February 26th and they still haven't paid me for the work they say it's an issue with the system but they drafted my business account and it's the same account I used to receive my payment… There's no bank so they say so I can't call the bank directly to get it situated they said give two business days to receive funds or to get reach out to about the situation to fix it's now Friday and I still haven't been paid I don't work for free I told them to cancel my account they gave 200 in free credits but after I talked to Angie's pay customer service which turned out to be useless I call back to the customer relations to cancel I won't be back with Angie's list they are a rip off they make more than the contractors and not helping my business grow list they say in the beginning they said I'd make 4K a month if I do certain things and get I did them and still haven't reached that goal. No where near it. They are a scam they are dishonest and say anything to keep you so they can take money for you with bogus leads here's a picture of a customer showing me they paid in which Angie's list home advisor still hasn't paid me I'm tired of the bs and lies excuses and the run around get me paid or legal action will be taken and if I have to pay for a lawyer for litigation it's not going to be pretty for home advisor aka Angie's list…
