I hired A-1 Remodeling based in Grantville GA to finish the side of my deck on April 29,2022. I was charged a high fee for only three hours of work, I had to clean up their mess, edge was not properly braced, and my dog went through the slats because they weren't spaced the same as the existing railing. Considering there were three " experienced" people on the job, I'm not impressed. They didn't even get back with me about another job they were supposed to do.

I booked a move-out cleaning for my home 2 weeks in advance. I got several reminders and responded to all requests for more information. My contractor never showed and didn't respond to my calls or to Angi's. When I got the contractor's voicemail it was for an auto design company in a city 35 miles away. Such a waste of time, and now I have to unload my car and stay in my empty home overnight waiting for a different cleaning service to come tomorrow since no one can come today. Why would they book my house cleaning with an auto designer? And why didn't the professional ever contact me or Angi in any way? I will NEVER use Angi for anything ever again.

Scammed me. Pro refused to do the work I paid for while I wasn't there and tricked my landlord into paying her on the side and said she'd complete the work. She then left and didn't do the job. I had reached out to Angi's list to report this and they said I wasn't charged... yet I was because my landlord charged me for what he paid her. Angi's list then said she completed the work and said I was lying, so they paid her for the job she did not complete, on top of her receiving money on the side because she refused to do the job I paid for in advance with a "guarantee."

Then, the "Pro" somehow got my actual phone number and was texting me profanity and cursing me out. Over the course of a few days. She also already had my Google voice number from when I scheduled services and stopped using that because Angi could see what she says.

I had to block her from both my phone numbers to stop the harassment. Angi has done nothing to resolve this except pay the Pro more and not deactivate her account. Be cautious when using this out - big time scam where they find ways to get money and not actually do the job.

The driveway is still only partially usable-an abrupt change in contract terms from a full removal and replacing to an "overlay","by simply adding a new layer of asphalt over the existing driveway, created a safety issue—the added layer raised the edge of the driveway, causing a drop off the edge, so steep that a car driving off the edge could not get back up on the driveway. It was worse when it'd snow. Payment was stopped, but paver sounded so earnest in meaning to remedy problem, I took the hold off. It took 9 months for him to try a fix—to fill up the gaping trench gravel, which did not work, it was done on the cheap, without a retaining bar and pavers on top to stabilize the gravel and keep it from dispersing. Arbitration and courts failed, paver's argument was that I signed off on each job, therefore I must have been satisfied; disingenuous, since 1. I signed off in good faith, trusting that it had been done properly; 2. The soft asphalt was not to be walked or driven on for days, there was no way to confirm the quality of the work. Perfectly legal, but unethical. Will never trust BBB ratings again, paver's rating was an A+! It was naive to have trusted it.

They are scammers, they are charging me 1500 dollars, and I did not make any profit from them, they charged me for leads that I did not even use. I only contacted one project, and I had losses. Because I got a $375 bill from Angie leads for leads I never applied. This is fraud you have to sue them for fraud.

We were not happy with the job Expert Home Builders, Inc. performed on our pavers on our front walkway and the concrete work done in our backyard. We were 1st told by the contractor that the work would be done in one week. It took over four weeks! The contractor sent us the wrong pavers, and the sub-contractor had to get them replaced. That cost an additional $2,200. The sub-contractor never showed up until 1:30PM. The contractor ended up firing the sub-contractor and had to bring in new crews. There was an issue between the contractor and the sub-contractor; according to the sub-contractor the contractor didn't pay him enough for the work he was doing. He wanted us to cancel the contract & pay him directly. Said he might lien our property. We told him no, we can't cancel the contract. There's still a couple of things the contractor didn't finish: he repeatedly told us he was going to put on the paver sealant, he didn't. There is dirt strewn all over by our back vinyl fence. When we mentioned the paver sealer. He wanted an additional $2,700!

The contractor was supposed to come back on May 2,2022 for us to sign final forms, but we have not seen him.

I THOUGTH I HAD DIEAD THIS COMPANY IS THE GREATIEST EVER THE WORKERS WERE JUST AS NICE THEIR IS NOT ENOUGH WORDS TO EXPLAIN HOW ANGELO IS EXCEPT VERY HONEST GREAT PERSONALITY. THIS MAN CAN REALLY PAINT THEY CLEANED UP EVERY DAY AFTER WORKTHEY WILL WORK WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY I LIKE THE WAY WE PAID HIM EVERY TIME WHEN HE PAINTED A ROOM WE WOULD PAY HIM FOR THAT ROOM. ANGELO SPEAKS VERY GOOD IF NOT EXCELLENT HIS COMPANY IS THE BEST I AM TELLING YOU THIS MAN CAN PAINT AND NOT MAKE A MESS THEY WOULD COVER ALL THE FURNITURE IN EACH ROOM. ALSO HE CLEANED MY DRIVE WAYAND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY JUST HAD POURED THE CEMENT

This was the worst lead generated app ever. This was not helpful to my business. I only booked three jobs out of 300 leads. Also there numbers and leads are fake. I warned everyone this services was the worst ever. I'm now with yelp who have more reasonable leads.
