All I wanted was a quote! I wasn't even sure if I wanted to have the job done I just wanted an idea on a price in case I did! They must have sold my phone number to companies because ever since I signed up I have gotten NON STOP SPAM CALLS! It's so bad I'm going out of my way to leave a negative review. I get over 15 spam calls a day. Not a joke.
Angi is a great source for information on local businessed. They are a little behind the times on businesses which have closed months ago. For example, Johnny's Car wash on Beechmont Ave closed last fall and it still appears on Angi as open.
We haven't accepted any jobs but yet we are still being charged. We cancelled the service but they won't refund any money they took from us. But they said they are willing to pay lawyer fees and court costs on top of what they need to refund back to us. Doesn't make any sense to me at all
Also we are only asking for the $288 we used to sign up not knowing we get charged every time we we looked at a lead, not accepting it or even contacting someone. And the $154 they owe us for charging us leads when we were only on job opportunities that we clicked not interested on. How these people get away with stealing money from people is beyond me. FYI save your money and don't get set up with this company at all.
If you look at the pictures below. I have a picture of the statement from Angie leads which shows one payment being taken out compared to my bank statements of several payments taken out. Also the list of jobs shown was supposed to be a reimbursement because those customers were unreachable. Save yourself the hassle people
I requested a list for appliance repairs and was called by "Angie Services" although I did not request a quote from them. They called me and I booked an appointment but I was not happy with the price. Within 10 minutes of making my booking I decided to cancel. The phone number for the them didn't work. I sent a text to cancel and got an email address to contact. Bottom line I finally sent an email at 0855 to cancel a 9:00 appointment for the following day and received confirmation at 9:08 with the stipulation I was being charged a $15.00 cancellation fee since it was within 24 hours. A total con if you ask me. I would recommend avoiding this service. I received a much better quote from of the individual contractors.
THE JOB WWENT VERY WELL/ THEY CAME IN DID EXACTLY WHAT WAS PROMISE/ KEPT TO THEIR SCHEDULED TIME/ COMMUNICATED WITH US AS THEY SAW PROBLEMS AND HAD RESOLUTIONS AS WE AGREED/ HOPEFULLY I WOULD NOT NEED TO DRYWALL AGAIN BUT IF THEY EXPAND THEIR SKILLS I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT/ THEY WERE FAIR IN THEIR PRICEING AND RESPECTED OUR HOME BY CLEANING UP DEBRIES/I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO PICTURES BUT MY BASEMENT WAS MUCH BETTER WHEN THEY LEFT AND ENABLED US TO MOVE FORWARD IN OTHER REPAIRS DUE TO THE 4 FT FLOOD IN OUR BASEMENT
My experience was rather refreshing, and just knowing that you had someone who takes pride an honor in her line of work. She answered every question there was to ask before I asked. And I didn't have to worry because I had some of the best leads there were out there. Angie is a blast to work with I would recommend her any day anytime to anyone. She's truly a blessing. Thank you
I logged in to find a exterior Painter. I send off for quotes. Everyone was fast to give me estimates. And I found the perfect match for the job in the very first day.
I have used Angi's List or Angi now on numerous occasions to survey and find businesses to complete jobs I have needed to be done from roofing to appliance repairs and more. I trust Angi and have had great services from all those I hired that had good reviews here. Thanks Angi!
Easy to use. The way the Angi handles reviews are good for the customer. I haven't had any issues at all.
Angi leads is a horrible company to with. We had 12 leads our first 6 months and only 4 were within 100 miles of our area. Of those 4…. NONE …. Were if any quality. If you do get hustled into this scam I feel bad for you. Our contact or helper was Melissa Eads, completely useless to any cause other than to mention her "11" years experience… blah blah … no advice or help just double talk. Good luck people… take it for what it's worth.
With the old Angie's List, I could easily peruse the ratings of the local businesses in my area and contact my choices. Now, I have far less control. They pick the selections. I couldn't figure out how to see more. But my biggest beef: My contact information was given out without my consent to others not on the list provided. I started getting flooded with calls from contractors who heard that I was looking for a certain job to be done. I did not know these businesses, nor did I want to hear from them. I'm no longer using them.
My experience with my contractor I have absolutely nothing bad to say. He was on time he was polite he was knowledgeable he was fairly priced cleaned his mess like he was never even there. I look forward to doing more future projects with him.
I would NOT recommend. This is an untrustworthy business. I wouldn't recommend anyone to sign up for Leads with Angi pro because I was literally robbed. They will register you and have your charges up to $1000 in the first 2 weeks regardless of If you complete a job or not. I was encouraged to sign up under false pretenses. This is illegal in itself. This is SHADY BUSINESS, after doing research on the company I'm not surprised but I will be creating a civil suit because this in terms is a result of their liability for a type of wrongful act. Under the pretenses of a "contract" signed under " Fraudulent inducement", which is a type of legal claim often raised when a person has been tricked or defrauded into entering into a contract or transaction.
Steve O'Connell was a pleasure to work with. His employees installed approximately 600 linear feet of crown molding in my home and the quality of work performed was excellent. The job was finished quickly and I will use this company again and recommend it highly.
I purchased a dresser from Walmart.com along with assembly. I received a confirmation from Angi that a provider would be at my home at a specific date & time that was before the dresser was scheduled to be delivered. No problem changing the assembly date until the provider canceled 30 minutes before the appointment & Angi automatically rescheduled (went from Saturday morning at 10:00 to a Tuesday night at 7:00). Not ok! I rescheduled that appointment that also didn't happen due to 'computer error'. Finally was able to get the job done (Angi gave the job to a company called Handy) and after complaining about all the hassle & changes, was offered a $25 Walmart gift card that never showed up. In following up, I was transferred to literally 5 different departments, spoke with supervisors and attempted calling back 3 times before giving up. The $25 wasn't worth my time - it was the principle! Will never contract with Angi again!
Bugs started creeping around. Called ABC Pest Control. Ryan came and assessed the problem, explained the process and did a great job eliminating the pest. He will return every two months to inspect and spray.
It was amazing exclamation Ricky respected our home gave us many choices was not pushy and solved the problem. Was on time and answered all of our questions
It was my first time trying to leave a review and I had to spend far too much time trying to figure out just how to do it. If you truly want reviews, it should have its own drop down list.
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
