At the end of the job another fee showed up that had nothing to do with the contract. I called the company but no one answered. I left messages but no one returned my calls. I had to pay the extra money in cash. I will not be doing any business with Angi ever again. PS the work was 75%, I had to pay the full amount plus. NOT HAPPY!
I was scammed. Verified movers came up on Angi web site as movers and I requested a quote. 30 minutes later I received a call from Certified Movers based in Charlotte with the contact Person being Omar Singleton +1 *******688. I made an appointment and also put a deposit down of $390.00 for June 4,2022@ 10 am. Mr. Omar contacted me on Friday evening via FaceTime to see what it is a will be moving. Mr. Omar Confirmed the time again for Saturday morning at 10am.
Mr. Omar did a No call No show. Contacted Angi customer service and no one seems to know what I was talking about. I was one the phone with Angi for over two and half hours and After being transferred to HomeAdvisory and other departments one of the agents hung up on me after being on the phone for two and half hours stating she doesn't know what I'm talking about. This whole cycle of a conversation to resolve any issues with me the customer took 6 agents and every agent asked for name, number, address, and email address. I am mortified with this. Not only did I take a day from work but my 72 & 70 years old parents where there waiting and no one showed and they are out of a deposit of $390.00.
I did NOT use Angi to find this landscaping company. Angi no longer provides all vendors with ratings; they preselect and this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I imagine vendors pay them to get on the list. I have told them this multiple times
Pleasant and professional contractors with reviews from others to help make a choice without reluctance. I search for job and get the pros for my specific needs as well as others experiences.
A lot of pros on the site. I am impressed. The called ahead to check in.
I sales lady was good. She had a southern accent and talk a great game. I got suckered and gave it a try. Next thing I know I'm dealing with someone else. She wasn't helpful at all. After 6 weeks they could never find my 2 licenses to I could get the jobs I want. I sent email after email to get them out on. No response. They send you leads that are hour away. They don't keep there word. Stay clear.
I used a contractor off of Angi. He did the work but even though I had paid on Angi, he also collected payment. I called and they were to contact him. I cancelled my membership. Since I did that they have done nothing about this. Now I am sent to another department who has to contact me. Don't use this list.
I wrote a negative review for a company. It finally got their attention and I agreed to take down the review. I have removed it TWICE and yet it continues to show. I have called Angi and been on hold for over an hour. The phone message directs me to a live chat option at the bottom of their page. IT IS NOT THERE AND DOES NOT APPEAR IN AN ONLINE SEARCH. I doubt that I will ever use this company again for anything.
Our gas oven kept having trouble lighting and would fill the first floor with gas before eventually turning on. It took me a while to find a company that would service Bosch appliances that I either hadn't bought from them and was no longer under warranty. Landers Appliance was very helpful and professional, even from my first phone call. They were able to schedule us within a day or two of my call and had a flat fee for sending someone out, plus the cost of repairs. The company texted me 15 minutes before the appointment to let me know he was actually on his way. Bill arrived on time and was friendly and professional and worked quickly and efficiently. Our oven is now working great!
Amazing experience! The moment I called to schedule an appointment I knew I was in the right hands.
I paid Angi $454 to get my mortar fixed. A man showed up and worked for about three hours. He's never returned. I estimate they made a profit of about $375. My work is still not done. I wrote them with a protest. They have not followed up by contacting me. Save your money. It's a fraud.
I raised concerns at the very beginning of the process when I spoke with my "pro". She was not aware that I requested a move out service cleaning. When I brought this up to Angi Support they assured me on multiple phone calls that she was aware and it would be done. It was not and they only refund up to 50%. So now this process has cost me even more money. I have to hire new cleaners to get the job done right and have to pay prorated rent for the extra time they cost me. Thought I was getting a good deal... nothing was scrubbed, didn't vacuum. Save yourself the headache and the money and hire some one outside of Angi, you will wind up spending more to get the job done right.
We used the above company to have our roof replaced and and entire house coated. Paperwork not filled out correctly by Sales Representative which caused a number of problems from not informing client of all charges they may incur, a couple of damages that happened during installation, workers not totally informed of things that should be completed, and as a result client additional payments that had to be made. Project Mangers Manuel and Rasheed made sure we were informed despite all the things that went wrong. Having to go back and ask customer for additional money is never a good thing. Workers and Project Managers made sure this project was completed.
It looks amazing the stone was exactly what I wanted and the outdoor kitchen looks great. The fireplace works great and the stone around makes it look wonderful.
We asked Angi for help finding a company to plant a large Date Palm in our back yard. Two strong guys from Art and Tree Landscape came out the next day after talking with them on the phone about our project and put our tree in the ground! It was a tough job, but they got it done and quick! They were professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them for any Landscaping job big or small.
My husband was contacted today by a salesperson from Angie Leads. She said we would not be charged until background check was done.
We were charged the $140.99 before she hung up the phone! And when my husband called her back, she claimed it was "just a hold" IF I CAN'T USE MY MONEY, I'VE BEEN CHARGED.
Serious red flag.
We may still sign up, but not until we set up an isolated one use debit cards to keep them in check
They say they'll give you unimaginable amounts of leads for work. If Angi's sends a lead and I actually get to talk to a customer (about 2 of every 12) and I lose the job to a better bid... No problem, I lost and I move on to the next job. The problem with this company is that most of the leads are fake numbers or repeats. If a potential customer doesn't answer after calling them repeatedly for 48hrs They claim to give you credit back. What they dont tell you is that you're limited to 2 requests per billing cycle. Meaning that you could possibly get 30 leads in that billing and if no one answers the phone its not their problem and you just continue to lose money. My final straw was today. I received a lead, called and got no answer as usual. So I decided to go the physical address. I speak to the owner and he proceeds to tell me that he had his house cleaned 2 weeks ago and he no longer needed services. I called Angi's to inform them and they tell me that I dont have the right to use the physical address as a means of finding out if the customer basically existed or not. I'm officially done after today and they will be hearing from BBB -Better Business Bureau
Wild Wild Pest. I'm so grateful for your service I called Angi List at 12:00am and received a call from Fox the owner of Wild Wild Pest about 10 minutes later he was very helpful and told me he would be here at 5:00am. 4:55am I got a call from him (Fox) telling me he's at the door very professional and great knowledge of what was going on and keep me well informed about what he was doing. He showed up everytime he said he was coming on time and ready to work. Plus I like the fact that all of his staff were Wounded Military Veteran I would highly recommend anyone that's having a pest control problem to call him I'm even going to give you his number*******126
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
