I received one legitimate lead from Angi and was charged for 7 leads. Each one of these leads costs several hundred dollars each and I was not able to reach the leads in which I was charged for. I was told that I could submit for a refund and was denied those refunds, leaving e to pay for leads that I was never able to get in touch with.

Talked to two people from Angi to help with the affirm financing and got nothing but triangulation with poor communication on the process. The app says all you have to do is a "quick application and answer in minutes." This was not the case! I got off the phone after spending well over 20 minutes with Angi Pay so confused and frustrated by the way I was treated I just decided to use my master card and pay the business directly. Angi either needs to ditch their relationship with Affirm financing or hire people to accurately communicate the step by step process needed to use Affirm financing. Very Poor!

Angi's List customer service will only provide a first name of the contractor. You cannot get the full name, company name, address or real contact phone number of the contractor. As a single woman, I am not comfortable letting a contractor in my home that I have no contact information about. Angi's List does provide a phone number for the contractor, but it is uniquely set up for that contractor and is only a message drop box active 24 hours before the job. In my case the contractor did not return my call.

Additionally, if you call Angi's list the customer service agents work from a script and don't necessarily tell the truth. In my case. One of the agent's tried to reassure me that the contractor was from my zip code. I live in rural area with a population of approximately 1,200 in my zip code. When I pointed that out, he said that he was indeed "mistaken" and the contractor was from another area.

I requested a quote for an ac tune up, they have sent me (literally) 20 emails in four days. The "pro" was supposed to come out the next day. He has cancelled and rescheduled three times now. Also, he is borderline illiterate and his messages are unintelligible. Clicking the Angi link was the worst decision I've ever made. Go with ANY company other than them

I would never recommend this company for use. I paid for a service that I never received. The representative called to cancel our appointment and reschedule, on the rescheduled date never showed nor called. I contacted the company via e-mail and the response time was very slow. I gave customer service the information requested when they finally responded. However, this issue has yet to be resolved four days in. Overall, beware and do not invest in Angi.

Will take your money, not deliver service, and make it extremely hard to get a refund. Total waste of time. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I tend to give a second chance - anyone can make one-off mistakes. But these jokers had multiple mess-ups and displayed outright scammy behavior.
