Excellent service. On time and friendly. Did a great job.
Had a very good experience, loved the job, and the professionalism!
I was a member of Angie's List for years and was very happy. I joined the new Angi and have had multiple issues with the new format. I have a large tree that needs to be removed, submitted information and pictures of it and was given an online quote of about $2500, supposedly a member savings of $500. Although it was made clear that the price may be changed, an appointment was made for someone to come and look on a Friday. I also had two holds of $2500 on my card. I received a call from Angi (Alyssa) a few days later, saying that the appointment was changed to Monday and she asked if I wanted to be there. I said yes, then on Monday, the appointment was changed to Wednesday. In the meantime, I found a card from a tree service on my door. I also received an email addressed to someone named Joni (not my name) about what a great service Angi is. I just got off the phone with Alyssa who says the quote is now $4500. She was quite snippy when I asked why I wasn't consulted when the tree service came to assess. She said that I could either take or decline the quote. I asked her what was happening Wednesday, since I received text and email reminders from Angi. Alyssa said no one is coming Wednesday and talked over me as I tried to ask questions. So sad that the great service is no longer.
Great service and maintenance with Joe Wilde on door operator.
I tried 5 times to login through my phone. Kept being sent a link, and still couldn't get into account to do review. Had ultimately to go to my laptop to provide a review to a service provider.
I'm tired of writing this. And reviews mysteriously vanish. All they care about is getting new business. They don't even know what happened with past projects. Whether they were even completed or not. They responded 1 rime when I told them my project was Incomplete after trying with a 2nd so-called "Pro" A d they said nothing, bc they didn't know. They didn't even know my project number! Yet, when I mistakenly put in a request for a new project, I have received at least 30 calls, texts and/or emails between ANGI and the Handyman! Just got a VM last night from BEN!

My call started off well and I had told her that if the price was decent and I could afford it that I would be willing to sign up as a contractor. My call lasted about 31 minutes.
Like I stated it started out great. But as time went on she got down to the cost of the service. She told me it would be $400 a month for what she had "put together". I then told her that was a little too high for me. She said the lowest should could do was $300 a month which would allow me to be able to get up to 20 calls for the month.
I told her that was more than I was willing to pay and way more than I wanted to do. I just started my business and am doing it part time and expected some sort of trial period or a lower rate. When I told her that i am not comfortable with that price and did not want the service, she started to nag at me.
She told me "what is changing your mind so suddenly? You just said you were okay with signing up for a decent price and that is a decent price for the amount of money you get in return".
I explained to her that that is not guaranteed money and that it's what too expensive for me to do at this time due to my finances.
She continued to taunt me and said "well you would make that money up in a few jobs so what's the issue".
I explained to her again the money is not right for me and it's not guaranteed.
She continued on and said "well is it fear that is changing your mind? Are you scared"
This instantly made me mad that this person would not take no for an answer and was very rude to suggest anything of that sort. For a fresh business starting out, I do not know anyone willing to drop $300 on a service like this with no income since the company just started.
She continued on and said "you saying no will not break Angies List"
I continued to tell her I would call back when I thought about it and she tried to pressure my by saying "this call is a live document"
Anyway this was very rude and I will not be using Angies list for anything in the future. Very poor customer service.
Great! Awesome work was surprised when he was done! Highly recommend for remodeling your home
I am super satisfied with the level of service provided by the Desoto On Call Handyman. He was professional and very knowledgeable about the services he would be performing.
My husband and I used Angi to find a company to repair our sprinkler system. We had the company out they gave us a quote and we paid $4092 through Angi. Then the company ghosted us. It's been 3 months of trying to get our money back and we always get told that "Chris" will call us Monday. Chris has never called, the sprinkler system is still broken and we are out $4092. Don't use this company if you actually want the work done! It's a con!
I filled out the information needed, took photos, and gave a detailed description of the work needed. I was given a quote, and a date. When the worker arrived, he expressed, he did not want to do the job, because it was too much. I was then charged $800 and told that a refund will not be issued. They even offered to reschedule and charge me again. I have since given up with customer service, and reported the incident to my bank for further investigation.
I Booked with Angi for a house cleaning on Fri an hour before the scheduled cleaning Angi rescheduled for the following Sunday. I contacted customer service and told them that Sunday would not work so I was scheduled for Saturday a day earlier than the rescheduled booking. The scheduled booking that I had for Saturday was rescheduled 1.5 hours before the scheduled time of the service. 1 hour prior to my service time my booking was rescheduled for Tuesday. After talking to six different customer service agents and 2 customer service agents on the online chat help. I realized that Angi takes all bookings knowing that they will not have enough contractors to cover all of the bookings there for having to reschedule most of them. During the customer service calls I was apologized to dozens of times but was offered no solution to my problem. When I asked to have the call escalated to a supervisor I was informed that a supervisor would return my call in the next 24 hours. Twenty Four hours for a supervisor to return my call. I wonder how many callers each day ask to talk to a supervisor that it would take 24 hours to return a call. I asked if the supervisor could return my call during their lunch break and the customer service rep laughed like I was making a joke. On a hunch, I decided to check Angi's Better Busines Bural web page. And they did not have an F BBB rating like I expected But Angi's BBB rating is REVOKED! How does a company get a BBB rating of REVOKED and stay in business? Weird Wallies used car lot managed to get a BBB raiting of D-. I can't believe that Walmart advertises for this company. Type Angie BBB into the google machine and read some of the complaints. This company does not give a Frenchman F--- about their customers. Google search for local service providers and cut out the middleman F angi and her friend Angi's List!
Contractor never arrived. Angi's home advisor entered the wrong address. The contractor lives in PA, and I live in FL. It's neither the contractor or my fault but nevertheless the contractor entered a "completed" job in the Angi App and walked with his money. Contractor said he didn't want to lose his time and money. I had to pay the full amount for a job never started or completed for an address that was mistyped by Angi. Angi offered only 50% of the booking when it was their fault in the first place. Waste of my time and money. I lost both. Now I'm doing the job myself wasting more time.
3rd and last attempt on using angie; figured it was better then last year.
1. Last year; scheduled pro was confirmed; and then "last second cancellations" 4 times in row.
2. Last year; schedule pro for deck remodel. Can down for quote and then never showed up after initial call.
3. Today; booked lawn server 1 week in advance for father's day; have people coming over for holiday. 2 hours before service they cancelled due to "last second pro cancellation".
4. The nail in the coffin; Customer service is just like "welp, not my problem, you shouldn't of used us"
Overall unreliable service that you cannot depend on with a awful "who cares" customer service approach.
Very satisfied with all areas of expertise I would definitely recommend how helpful the whole experience was
Most of the professionals I've hired from Angi have done an excellent job in completing my projects. One thing I learned is you can't rely on favorable reviews alone. You also need to look at the negative review for a common pattern of complaints.
If you don't have connections and you're not a do-it-yourself kind of person, then go to Angi!
My experience was incredible I will always recommend people to this website for jobs on work
Lists of local certified and reviewed professionals always available.
Book a appointment to get a window ac, heater work on, ask for the name of the company and person coming with no response, but they keep robo calling me and when I answer the phone, they hang up on me, have emailed me 10 times and they only tried to sell me something else and still don't know who's coming, first time and last time to use angi
Apparently, Angi & Wal-Mart have teamed up for what they are calling "add-on services". In my situation, I ordered a grill for my husband for Fathers Day and paid an additional $59 for grill assembly. Once I had picked up the grill, I got an email from Angi confirming an appt for a week later (past Fathers Day), so I opted to reschedule the appt for today at 10-12. No one showed up. After being on hold for nearly an hour and getting transferred 3 times, I finally spoke to someone who acknowledged "errors" on their app, but was completely unwilling to help solve the issue. She said she'd go ahead and schedule an appt for tomorrow at 7am, but said that if no one "claims the ticket", then no one will show up? I asked to speak to a manager and she said that would take 24-hrs "that's their process?". So I'm currently out the $59 with a grill in a box and an appt that someone may or may not show up to. I've not experienced horrible procedure, lack of communication or lack of customer service before.
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
