We had a new roof and gutters installed on our primary and carriage home. The quality of work and service exceeded our expectations.
I have used angis list for years, but the last two years have been awful. Any time I look for a vendor, I get inundated with calls and emails, even after the project. I decided to cancel the $44 service and followed the instructions on the website. 5 days later I was charged again. This despite receiving dozens of emails to hurry up and finish my most recent project search. It seems like Angi thinks homeowners are the product despite still charging us. Do not recommend!
Highly recommend NOT using Angi formerly Angies List. These guys send out a non licensed guy to do some electrical work, install some outlets. The guy spent 12 hours and dint complete the job. After paying for the parts the guy ended up taking some of the parts i. E. wire and breakers with him when he left the *******@2330. Now to get your money from HomeAdvisor or Angi you have to submit multiple claim forms, then you have to fill out an affidavit and get it notarized and sent back to be considered to get your money back. Look at the pictures you can see a little metal on metal action and they also got wired backwards so had I turned on power that could have been bad. HomeAdvisor / Angie's List is a scam
These dudes are straight crooks.

Tried to hire handyman but they kept rescheduling according to their time and availability. They never showed up and didn't provide any kind of service. Please do not contact Angi for any kind of service. You will never get what you want to get done.
They are great workers, great value charged, good quality material, serious company.
They dropped the "e's" and "list" but they also dropped the ability to shop around and gather information before committing with a description and address. The service it once provided is gone. I'm very disappointed. Google is a bigger help. Bye Angi.
Now i now why Angie's stock is so low priced... Just spent over 15 minutes on there site being askedpersonal questions and information that was not necessary... At the end they had my unlisted phone number, which I did not give them and then sent me 3 different names of companies which did not specialize in redoing marble bathrooms and plumbing... It was so off the Mark. IThen then requested they set up emails and appts with them. Crazy unethical web site-all over the Map. My background is in architectural home design... I would never use this unprofessional site again. Felt like they were interviewing me for a job... They could really need some help. So much selling up front..
RJ came over to my house 5 minutes early, texted to let me know he arrived, came in and went straight to work. Friendly and knowledgeable about my computer which made feel like it was in good hands. Great job, no issues.
Perfect job I like it it was very good job it needs it with out it it's not been good I like the foundation job it was great
Angi does a good job of finding contractors and pushing the process among to completion. We will use Angi again.
I own a small painting company that is just getting started. Signed up with Angi and before my account was even finished being approved, my phone was inundated with calls from digital marketing companies. Seriously, 10+ calls a day from different companies that all had the exact same script. I know they got my info from Angi because Angi made a small error in my address and every single one of these solicitors had that same error. Pair that with the discovery that a large majority of the leads and "opportunities" they sell to contractors are just people curious about pricing. In my line of work, most leads are $100+, which would add up really fast with leads not being ready to hire someone in the immediate future.
The customer service staff were always very pleasant and easy to deal with, even when cancelling my account. Hence the 4/5 service rating. 100% not worth the cost or inconvenience, though.
Asked for a landscaper to have bushes trimmed. ANGI scheduled someone to come, they missed the appointment and did not notify me. When I called ANGI I was told that the contractor equipment broke but would be at the house the next day. Again no show no call ANGI said that I was rescheduled for a week later and the phone number for the contractor when I checked it belongs to a Robocall. I cancelled the project with ANGI and NOTIFIED my credit card company not to allow any charges from them. The credit card company told me that they have many complaints from their customers about ANGI and many reversals that must be processed. Do not trust them and don't listen to their commercials.
I went on Angi to look for fence repair. Within less than a hour Genaro and sons contacted me and came to my house to look at repair. I was so relieved that my search went so well. It completely eased my worries on getting my fence repaired.
I really liked that I could choose from several different contractors
Angi recommended we contact J. D. F. Services to help in fixing up our rear decking. After having searched on my own and having two contractors back out of their commitment at the last minute, Jack Fuse was a professional owner of this business and did exactly what he said he would do. He called back when asked to, he priced the work at a very reasonable rate, he not only showed up on time, he called to see if he could get started two days early. Jack and his crew were hard workers taking the time to do the job right and asking what we needed to be done and were finished in one day.
I would hire Jack again without any hesitation. Thank you Jack.
How's your Bedbug inspection & treatment project going? This was their nasty email. I wish they're more respectful.
They were helpful in finding us an electrical firm to repair and upgrade a 30+ year home.
Answer: You'll have to contact the website directly. They don't monitor the Sitejabber website. Try to see if you can get them to delete your profile. If not, I would contact the Better Business Bureau or the Attorney General's office or another state law enforcement office in your state. This sounds like fraud to me (but, I'm not a lawyer).
