Made an appt with Brandon Electric from 4061 Ashland st Phila pa.Don called a half hour before he came that gave me time to secure my dog.He and a partner came to replace 3 old outlets and worked separetly and when needed helped each other to complete the job in under 30 mins from time of arrival to completing the paper work. They were very curtious and friendly answering any questions that I had. Over all a great job well done. They have done other jobs for me in the past and always satisfied with there work.

I called for a plumber and took the morning off. After an hour of waiting beyond his appointment time I called Angi and they said the plumber had cancelled my request. I was not called or emailed by the plumber or Angi. The customer service staff in Philippines was not helpful whether.

This contractor *******644 works ‘under the table, makes money building decks as a SECOND job. (and at Greece NY). His work is unprofessional, and he is asking customers how to build their ‘deck', in other words customers to advise the contractor about the specific contractor process against the building codes. Randy Howard does not know what he is doing! Randy Howard is violating the Building codes, does not suggest applying for building permit, and builds deck/s with negligence and carelessness. He is dishonest, does not dig holes for the legs of the deck, which make the deck movable and futuristically sinking. This is a life hazard. Zero recommendations can be made about Randy Howard ‘under the table decking'. Be mindful if you hire Randy Howard: he is a coward and a slapping ‘self-proclaimed contractor''!

SMALL BUSINESSES BEWARE - Angie's List is the worst lead service we have ever engaged in. We pay $1000 per month to essentially get a hand full of leads. ON TOP OF THAT - they provide those leads to other companies aware. While I understand this is a common practice for these type of leads, it should not be the case when you are paying over $100 per lead.

Hired pro for a fixed price job. They charged me double. When I called to resolve it, it took me 2 hours and spoke to 5 employees. Last employee said they would refund the 2nd charge. One week later no credit on my cc. Called today spoke to 3 employees took 1.5 hrs. On hung up on me after he said he saw no record of my many calls last Monday and asked him for a corporate complaint #, one transferred me to another person and last person told me again they would refund the second charge. I asked her for an email to confirm our conversation and the refund but only said someone else would send an email. I no longer believe them as they clearly don't know what they're doing and don't care. I put a BBB complaint and called my cc company to dispute the second charge. They are awful, zero customer service resolution skills. DON'T USE ANGIE'S LIST/HOME ADVISORS, SAVE YOUR TIME AND SANITY.

My husband and I recently moved. We had been told that John Mitchell's, "TWO GUYS AND A TRUCK" Movers in Anderson, IN was very good. We called and they came out gave us a price, set it all up. The day of our move the crew of three young men showed up on time and went to work. Jordan, Brad and Brody were very professional. They were so attentive to our needs and made assured our move went very smoothly.

We had John Nelson come to our house today to do some work and he showed up earlier then expected and did a wonderful job. Have a new ceiling fan - faucets - and he worked on my dead bolt. We are very pleased with everything. So glad I found him on Angies List - he was the first one to call me back and gave a great quote. I will be using him and recommending him to other people. I'm a customer and I inaccurately entered my phone number. That being said, Annie's apparently assigns a phone number to reach the vendor (in this case a deck cleaner and seller). Not sure why they do this but I called customer service to correct my phone number. After a day, no correction. I then went unto my account and made the changes and that still didn't work until a day later. Meanwhile, the pics I uploaded of my deck through Anjie's site, the vendor never got. The site is an absolute mess. I will not use it again! 11

On April 6th, 2020, I told angies list to cancel my account... they responded with... I've attached this email to your account and made a separate note that you would not like to renew come the end of the contract. They renewed my contract come Febuary. I called march 1st. Since then nobody will talk to me. Not even my reps boss or my reps bosses boss. Nobody will answer my emails, voicemails, or phone calls. I emailed them today letting them know I will contact my bank since nobody will talk to me. I called the bank and they said they charge me over $1200 today. I am disputing with my bank right now but I would never recommend doing business with these crooks.

- [] On February 9,2021, HomeCraft at 500 Plantation Park Drive, Loganville Georgia put gutters on our townhome. We were told by their representative after the gutters and guards were installed they would walk around and inspect the work with us. They did not do this and just left the job site.
- [] The roof was peeled back where they worked on the gutters in the front. We called them several times to resolve this issue and they blamed it on the roof.
- [] If it had been a roof problem which it was not prior to their work. Using their logic/excuse why on earth would they install the gutters over a problem and not notify us prior to starting the install.
- [] The roof was perfectly fine before they put the gutters up. It is a fairly new roof and the roofers were highly recommended and used by friends. The installers also cracked the vinyl siding in the back where they put the gutters up.
- [] They have refused to take responsibility and correct the issue but did not have any problems taking our money and they certainly were not economical. Although they may continue this unethical resolution with us I hope this may help someone else.

Sterling Environmental Services: Beware of this company as they falsifying documentation & involved in extorting consumers. Initially they charged me 1,500. To remove the tank & told me the entire job will be done in 3 wks. I signed the contract and pay the 50% deposit on 11/18/20. I heard nothing after 3 Wks. I followed by mid-December & was told they needed 2-permits a Zoning & City permit which was not accurate per the City. I questioned the process & encountered rude & abrasive responses. I called the City of East Orange and there was "0" permit application for my address. I sent an email about the information the City shared with me & it was not received well. On 12/30/20 they called to notify me the permit was issued and in the mail. On 01/11/2021 they notified me they received the permit and scheduled for Tues01/19/21. After the removal the price went from $1,500. To $2,401.25. They claimed they made a mistake on the price. They also made major errors during the tank removal including placing the wrong name and date on the tank after removal. My daughter questioned the incorrect name and date & they said "no understand English". They left the site with the hole opened & returned about 30 mins later. My daughter went back outside and started smelling high gas odor. She told them "turn off the machine" in fear it may cause a fire. They claimed "it's soil" but was not smelling before they left. I received another quote for $19,797 as I have "bad soil" although it was not tested. I requested the report and was told "you did not authorize me to test the soil so I could not". Not sure where he got the "bad soil" results. At that time they reported a spill to the NJ State EP Department. The company is falsifying reports to extort consumer/customer (me) and place undue stress and expense for monetary gain to benefit the company revenue growth which is unethical practice. I had to hired another oil tank company to check the soil it was not contaminated. Now I have to pay to close an unfounded spill in order toto close a permit. Please do not use this company due to dishonest and unethical practices.

Sales Staff told us we could cancel at any time if we were not happy. We signed the 12 Month Contract - LOCKED IN even if you don't get a single job from their worthless leads. We kept documentation from their leads and for 8 months we were one of MANY (not 2-3 as stated) businesses receiving their leads. Home Advisor who Sucks Owns Angie's List! Most people don't know this! I was getting leads from Home Advisor that you pay per lead and I was getting leads from Angie's List that you pay per month. My Monthly fee for Angie's List was close to $800.00 per month. The leads for Home Advisor was up to $1,800.00 per month. On Home Advisors leads it said Angie's List right on them! I would call my customers and they would say I never contacted Home Advisor! I contacted Angie's List. So the Scam is pay per lead on Home Advisor while paying your Monthly fee on Angie's List. They would get you to pay for both! I called and called and called both Angie's List and Home Advisor to complain and all I ever heard was we will take care of it! Yeah right! I was run around between both companies. It's the same thing with all these big companies all they care about is stealing your Money!

Do not give them your information. I entered my information in the hopes of getting quotes for a maid service, and got a list of companies to call. Okay, no problem, ill give them a call when I have a free day to set up some quotes. Nope, not with Angie's List! They gave my information to a cleaning company and SET UP A TIME FOR THEM TO COME TO MY HOUSE to give me a quote... without my consent. My boyfriend, who works nights as a paramedic, was woken up by a very confused business owner who said that Angie's List had told them they had an appointment. Needless to say, we did NOT go with that company and will NOT be looking to Angie's List or Home Advisor for ANYTHING in the future. If you feel like you want your phone number, home address, and email sent to God knows how many contractors to do with as they please, use Angie's List. If you don't want complete strangers having your personal information and showing up at your home unannounced, I guess this company is for you. Seriously, wtf Angie's List?

I was pursued by Angies list for several years and I finally decided to try them out. I was promised at least 3 leads a month and the most important part was that they were going to be within 15 minutes on my home so I would not have far to travel. I gave them 5 months and most of the leads they gave me were an hour away. They other 2 were 20 minutes and 1 didn't respond to my mesage. I have filed a complaint with the Nj State Attorney General because the account manager doesn't answer and I cant seem to be able to get him no the phone.

After wasting my time entering all my information looking for a contractor, their web page asked me to call a number to verify who I am. I called that number and it had nothing to do with verifying me. From there on I could not get any referrals to the contractors. This is a simple waste of time.
