Loan originator fired while processing my loan. Was approved for one loan and was given an fha instead of what was promised. Closing costs are WAY higher then first promised and still need a down payment even for a first time home buyer. They never respond to your emails and spam you the same list of todo items every day even though they wont answer any of your questions that you asked about the items that need to be completed. Very unprofessional.

I refinanced my mortgage with Amerisave in late 2020. After completed my refinancing I have not been able to access my mortgage account in the last few weeks. I have tried in vain to numerous department from Loan Servicing to Customer Service for several days via telephone calls, emails, chats. I even got a hold of my loan agent, Sal H., and received zero help. I am in the process of getting another mortgage and unable to proceed due to some vital information. Save yourself from headache and stay away from Amerisave.

Should have ignored the initial sales pitch. Too much documentation (never had to go through anything like this before), advised 3.25% was good due to no points--now I know that's not true. Keep asking for more documents that make no sense. Felt like it was bait and switch experience. Just all around bad and here our credit score is well over 800. Want to rescind but need to know if there are costs attached. Do not go with AmeriSave. We have been put through hell.

I had an extremely experience with the lady names Natasha Garza. She does not care about working performance or staff at all, she just wants to hire people and fires as she wants without reason. Never ever expect any proper training course from this company. Stay away from her. Poor attitude

In the beginning they seem like a great mortgage company to work with. We had to extend our closing twice due to mishaps on their part. They told me multiple times that they sent documents to different entities involved with the loan such as realtor, listing agent, and title company. I reached out to verify because they continued to place blame on others. No one ever received the documents needed to move forward. When I would question or try to include everyone in emails or conference calls, Amerisave would ignore all of us for days. They kept changing the amount needing to close and would have numbers in the system saying we had an extra 4000 dollars of monthly income that was not at all true. If I had an extra 4000 dollars a month income, my purchase would have been a little nicer. We were locked out of the disclosures for over a week while they stated technical difficulties. All awhile, they were calling us demanding us to upload things to the disclosure page that was not accessible. Get use to the term technical difficulties because they had the most. They promised everytime we were going to hit the closing date and then would drop the ball and not reach back out until our realtor would have to send an addendum to extend closing. I've purchased 2 other houses prior to this and this was the worst experience I have ever had. Tried to switch type of loan without consulting me. We wanted conventional and was pre approved for such. Then when we received our pre approval letter, it show first time homebuyer... which we were NOT. They said they figured we would want closing credits. Should be no figuring... only what we asked for. I would never ever in my entire life recommend them for a mortgage. Save yourself and go to a bank.

I shopped around when trying to refinance. Rocket, Wells Fargo, Amerisave, along with 2 others... Amerisave had the best APR. So I started the process. $500 application fee? Ok, figured I'd save that with the difference in interest easily. Loan originator told me "that's why I love my job, to beat the rates and compete with the big guys." In hindsight, they probably train them with that line. 2 months later, after they were terrible getting back with me via email or phone, they denied my loan due to DTI (debt-to-income) being "just off." I was refinancing to consolidate some debt. You would think that they may actually offer to adjust the numbers to make the loan work and have a new customer, but NOPE they just simply said "I'm sorry we couldn't make it work." Makes me think they are a scam company! Conservative figure of "processing" 2000 applications a month at $500 a pop... $#*! that's a Mil right there. CROOKS! I write this in hopes they don't do the same to you!

VI would never do business with this mortgage company again. I spoke with an Amerisave Rep and applied for the refinance of my home on April 28,2021. I am a self-employed attorney with more than adequate income to support the requested refinance. This rep and the loan processor put me through weeks of requests for more information from me, that seemed totally unnecessary. I always provided it and they would ask for more. They would ask me to "wet-sign" some of the requested documents and would not accept electronic signatures. Despite several assurances that all that was required was a "little more" for approval they never gave me a straight answer. I called and emailed about the status of my application. No response. At one point the loan processor requested that I give her several days for closing on the loan, which told me that my application had been approved. I did and then never heard back from her to schedule the loan close. Weeks went by. I called the loan originator and loan processor but they never returned my calls. Finally, on July 26 I wrote them and terminated the relationship and requested my $500 application refund. Now, two weeks later I have not received my refund or any contact from Amerisave. Horrible, unprofessional experience!. I am going to complain to the regulatory agencies about AmeriSave. Judy in Washington State.

(Loan Originator NMLS ID #*******) RUN. He will waste your time and not have a clue what you are trying to accomplish. My current rate is 2.625. I want to do a cash out refi using a VA loan. We started this process two weeks ago. Today I noticed his GFE was just a refi. I have over 130k in equity. He told me a straight refi is my best bet.

No communication! Except for payment of application fee ($500). In short don't waste your time or money, they are in partnership with title and appraisal. They don't want your business! Only your deposit.
Failed on many Federal regulations, GFE came at the end of three weeks, Not asking for deposit back, can't stand dealing with these incompetent people.
They don't stand behind any of their promises, I have good credit, plenty of reserves and could not accomplish a refi. Simple cask out to 80%, They don't do those, but according to advertising, not so. Stay away.

I contact agent Mr. Award of AmeriSave Mortgage and have continually sent information he requested for loan refi application. Nothing but computer generated replies. Communication ceased right after payment of application fee.

L did my homework very disappointed with the dishonest. This will be report as a scam as my provider informed me. You are a liar to me, others, self, and the LORD. The LORD doesn't mention too much about liars in the bible. He hates liars you and you associates. As you read this review he looking at you for what you tried to do and did to others including the name AmeriSave. GOD WRATH UPON ALL THIS CORPORATION PUT ON ME AND OTHERS. We just closed our refi last week. I wanted to write a positive review on them because I did read negative reviews about AmeriSave before going forward with them. When we read the reviews, we decided to stay on top of them as far as needing any documents from us, etc. We worked with Gray Hancock, and he was professional and communicative. We got paranoid because they kept asking for documents, and we thought we wouldn't be able to finish by the deadline of the rate, but we were fine. I'm sure whenever there's a poor experience, you will read about it more online, so since we had a positive experience, we wanted it known out there that not everyone has a bad experience, and I'd say give them a chance.

In may 21 I reached out to amerisave for a re-fi. They WERE quick and courteous to get me A loan. They immediately wanted the appraisal fee, but after a month of sending info and neccessary paperwork. We were down to changing the insurance, when THEY saw that the original house was a manufactured home. They terminated the loan, and said they WOULD send the fee back to me. It's now been over a month and no one will return my calls! Why wasn't i asked MORE about the home? I never saw an appraiser, so how can I be charged for one?

Great experience until the end. I began the process early and became fully approved with a certified letter and a closing guarantee of $1,500 if the loan did not close due to their issues. During the last two weeks of closing, they could not obtain an appraisal and said it was out of their control. If not theirs, then whos? Due to their inefficiency, they could not close and would not honor their guarantee. DONT TRUST anything and if by some chance this review does not hinder your decision... please have a back-up for when they shatter your dreams.

This is the most disconnected company I've dealt with. I have financed, bought and sold over 10 homes in the last 4 years and this is the biggest bunch of b. S. I've ever dealt with. They have asked me for the same information 3 times... I've uploaded the information as well as emailed it to them, they confirm receiving it and still ask for it again. Not a good way to do business. Initially I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks to close on my refinance. It has been over 10 weeks and they just changed my loan originator and are asking for the same info again. My credit score is in the high 700's and my income is close to 50k per year. This company is not one to deal with. I don't know who they paid to leave good reviews, but it must be employees doing it.

While my loan did, eventually, get approved and funded, it took three and a half months. At least two of that was due to idiocy and incompetence on the part of the title company AND poor communications internal to Amerisave, as well as poor communications to me.
Had they communicated more fully, I could have resolved the issues sooner. And yes it was me, digging and calling and harassing, that finally got the issues resolved.

If you have the time and the will to beat them, constantly, then you can get a good rate. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

I wish I had read these reviews first, we were promised rates that cost us thousands in points, which we could have gotten anyways-they had a $******* origination fee which is ludicrous, we had our current mortgage company look over their stuff & they said the numbers were not realistic & the loan would probably be declined once it got to underwriting. Unfortunately we had already paid the $500 application fee which we are now out.And despite me making it clear we no longer wanted to work with this company they kept sending mails asking for information. NO MEANS NO! What a rip-off

What a clown show and worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing.
One run a round after another, it never ends and nothing ever gets done.
Way to many other professional companies out there to deal with.
Run away from AmeriScam as fast as you can. This company is a total bad joke.

We paid our $500 fee to AmeriSave at the end of April -2021- with the hopes of closing by end of May, which was the opinion of agent.

However, here it is the end of June and the company still hasn't given us a closing date. We receive generated notes asking for documents. We have sent them everything they need for the closing of this loan, but we still get computer-generated notes; the agent keeps telling is "we're almost there" or "hang in," Underwriting is completing the job." We rarely get promised phone calls; we almost never get an actual response, and so for 60 plus days, we await a closing.

Yes rates are good, but with no closing date, what's the point.
I recommend to you that you explain to your readers that my case (as a Google search will support) is not rare, but a common occurrence.
