The website was easy to navigate and they had a large amount of what I was looking for in a lot more configurations than I expected.
I purchased a rear 6" lowering kit that was discounted because it said it was an open box. The price was right, but today I get a message that delivery could be 12+ weeks for delivery. This makes no sense to me. If you know it's an open box, why is delivery so far off?
I regularly use American Trucks for ALL of my needs. I wish I made money faster. They have everything Ive ever wanted, with excellent customer service and prices. Will hopefully 🙏🏻 one day have my 2020 Trailboss completely decked out because of AT!

I recently purchased a Husky Hood Shield for my new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, installed it the day it arrived shut the hood to take a look at my new purchase, looked great until I pulled the hood latch to reopen the hood finding that I could no longer reach my fingers into the hood release latch to open the hood! Very poor designed part ended up having to struggle with a pair of cloth wrapped curved needle nose pliers to get the hood reopened so I could ultimately find that I needed to remove the hood shield because it wouldn't work! Still waiting to hear from the manufacturer and American Trucks representatives still haven't reached out to return my phone call, so obviously I'm a very dissatisfied customer over this!

I placed my order. Later that day i received an email telling me they were indeed out of stock of my item. Initially there was a deliver by date. The email said the item was delayed about two weeks. The next morning, an email said the item shipped. What was the confusion?
I installed the seal to the fender flares in the first step as the instructions say to do.
They had fallen off before step two. The channel in the seal is not deep enough to hold the seal in place with the adhesive tape that is attached.
I ended up installing the fender flares without them, and overall they look pretty good, but I am concerned that I may make my rusting issue worse by trapping moisture.

I've ordered a few it items from them and each time I did an online chat and was able to get knowledgeable techs and good recommendations.
I ordered a big shield on 11-12-25. Two hours later I called the customer service line and cancelled the order. I received an email saying the order was being processed. I called again the second time on 11-12-25 an advised the order and payment was cancelled. Today 11-13-25 I received notice that the shield was shipped. I chat with your customer service on line today and was told that the shipment can't be stopped.
Ridiculous! This is totally whack!
Now I have to await the delivery and send it back, or take it to Lynchburg Va (25 miles away) to the UPS FEDEX store to return it. I will NOT pay return fees,

This was my first time using the site. I found it simple and intuitive. There was no problem finding my truck and even less of a problem finding the parts. The prices are quite competitive and I didn't get knocked over the head with shipping. The communication on shipping has been good so far and we'll see how I like the packaging and timeliness of shipping. Package should be here in a day or so.

I went to American trucks dot com thinking because of name and all the US flags on their site ment I was getting a USA made parts and got Chinese garbage bulb sockets clocked wrong causing wires to needing to be lengthened and curvature of headlight is not close to oem and not following the curve of hood and fender no amount of savings on price should equal this incompetence.

Most items lack instructions for install which is a shame and the packaging is terrible for shipping them on some items. Customer service is helpful.

The part I received from you guys is the wrong part. It is for 8L 90 transmission and mine is a 6L 80 transmission so it won't fit. I was gonna see if you guys could send me the right one and I send this one back.
So far I've ordered a new grille, headlights and leveling kit and haven't been disappointed yet. Process was easy and quick. And the prices are great as well, and I still have plenty of things to order.
The previous order was for headlights that did not produce enough illumination for my 82 year old eyes. Additionally there were no adjustment provisions for the high beams that pointed into the roadway approximately 8 feet in front of my vehicle.
American Trucks did accept them as a return, however I was unable to obtain a full refund because I was outside their 30 refund policy, They did give me full store credit minus a small shipping fee.
I just used the store credit to purchase a nice pair of full LED tail lights.
The guys at American Trucks did an awesome job at helping me pick the best LED headlights, taillights and a new set of shocks for my truck. Highly recommend.

Answer: AT has Install Connect 2 find and schedule a local shop near your location. They let you choose 3 dates and times, and if there are several different truck shops near you, you decide where and when you would like the job to be completed. I found the install price from AT is much cheaper than I could walk off the street and get a price. I know AT will make sure to choose quality shops and get it done right.
