Ordered 2 items one damaged and one did not have right pieces in box.
When called to send item back pictures would not load to website. I run a shop and was told needed to take parts to FedEx to ship back you should have sent FedEx to me to pick up. Was told item would ship within 24 hours of FedEx scan and that did not happen. Have a customers truck in garage and have to wait 2 weeks to get parts a second time. Make my name look bad.

The part was listed as in stock but after 6 days I never got a shipping notice so I had to call them instead of them telling me it was back ordered. They couldn't tell me why they said they had one and when it would ship. I cancelled my order because the part wouldn't arrive in time for my truck had to order from another RealTruck site.

I wasn't sure about ordering on americantrucks.com about parts, this is my first time ordering parts for my vehicles. So I decided to order for my truck and in glad I did. Fast delivery and the products are very nice and well taken care of. I would definitely order more thru americantrucks.com.
Bought a couple of Running Boards for my new 2024 Ram 1500 Limited. The item came very quickly, but the box appeared slightly damaged nothing major at all. When I opened the package to start taking an inventory of all the pieces, I was pleasently surprised that the parts seem to be in good order. The boards themselves were even wrapped in big air cushions. I didn't bother to unwrap them to inspect them further to see that they were, indeed, "damage free"...BIG MISTAKE! I went to work installing all the brackets on both the driver and passenger sides, saving the boards themselves for last of course. 1 1/2 wrench twisting later I unwrapped both rails to prepare to install them...and BAM...dents, scrapes and scratches! Considering they were so safely wrapped, I can only assume that these were damaged BEFORE they were shipped to me. Which would be a big oversight for the seller's QC procedures. The damage was, NOT an overwhelming amount, but definitely noticeable and something you don't want to see on a NEW ITEM you bought for over $400. The return policy states they would gladly replace, but I would have to pay to have everything repacked, at my expense, INCLUDING removing the brackets I already installed! Then FedEx would pick up the item and send it back to the company for me, free of charge, and the company would send me replacement...then I could install them...AGAIN! To be honest, I'm just not willing to do all that. Lol I just installed the boards, and I try to pretend I don't see the flaws!...they do look AMAZING when I do that though! They are really great products on this site, just make sure you THROUGHLY inspect you purchase before installation.
I ordered the hood on the June 6th, was expecting to receive it the following week, like the 13th or 14th. Now I can understand a bit of a delay, so I figured the first of the following week, like the 17th, 18th or 19th.
Well now it appears it will be the week after that, the 24th to possibly the 26th.
I just think potentially 20 days to deliver is a bit much.
I guess I don't have any choice but to wait it out.
But rest assured, I will remember the delay the next time I am buying parts. And I buy a ton of parts in a year.
The person's that I talked with were very professional and helpful, I don't have any issue with the sales folks etc. but the delivery aspect is not very helpful.

One of the step rails had about 3-4 small dents in it on the bottom side. This really surprised me as the packaging didn't appear to have any damage that I could see. The function of everything is great. I didn't send a request for a replacement because I wanted to get these installed asap as my truck has a 6" lift and having recent arthritis in my knee, it was creating problems getting in and out. These do help tremendously with my mobility issues but I was really disappointed with the dents after paying $2200 for these step rails.

I order running boards for my truck yesterday. I have received 6 emails in less than 24 hrs, none of them updates on the shipping just additional advertising. Take a break from the barrage of emails for new stuff before I even receive my initial order. Maybe I'll be a repeat customer, maybe I'll mark everything spam from your company and I'll never see something I may have ordered in the future. Thanks.

Answer: AT has Install Connect 2 find and schedule a local shop near your location. They let you choose 3 dates and times, and if there are several different truck shops near you, you decide where and when you would like the job to be completed. I found the install price from AT is much cheaper than I could walk off the street and get a price. I know AT will make sure to choose quality shops and get it done right.
