I bought a 3-month Dessert of the Month Club subscription from AmazingClubs for my husband's birthday, thinking it would be a fun and thoughtful gift. Sadly, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The first dessert we received was a plain, basic cake—nothing special or unique about it. It honestly looked like something I could have picked up at the grocery store for $10. For a service that charges $45 per month, that's just unacceptable. But the worst part? When I contacted their customer support to express how underwhelmed we were, they told me they couldn't offer a refund for the mediocre dessert. They didn't even attempt to make it right by sending a replacement or offering any kind of compensation. In the end, I canceled the subscription and only got a refund for the remaining two months. Total letdown—definitely wouldn't recommend. Save your money and just pick out your own desserts locally.
They delayed shipment and then since we weren't home they returned the item and kept the money. Don't trust them. They will take your money and send nothing
Order (3) month beer of the month
1 first came late
2 month never came- was told due to bad weather- for the entire month I guess
Customer service is horrible. Can't get back my money, can't get a supervisor on the phone.
Never been so embarrassed to give a gift like this!
I'm a quite disappointed. I bought three months of Amazing clubs for one of my sons as a Christmas gift (breakfast club, fruit club, pasta club). He likes food, he's a good cook. I thought he'd enjoy these. The first one arrived at the end of January: the Breakfast Club.
The cost for the three clubs was over $180, which averages out to $60 per club. I was expecting he'd receive something comparable to a $60 meal in a restaurant, or what he might be able to buy for this amount at the grocery store.
The breakfast club box included: 8 oz. Of maple syrup, 2 oz. Of coffee (from the looks of it, enough for at most 3 cups of coffee), 4 oz. Of bacon, a 12 oz. Pancake mix, along with a flyer describing the offerings in breathless prose.
Frankly, these don't seem worth $60 to me. To buy these items in a grocery store, I'd expect to pay $25-$30 at most - half what I paid for the breakfast club box. If a meal consisting of these cost $60 at a restaurant it would be a rip-off.
When I contacted Amazing Clubs to report my experience I received a boilerplate response that amounted to nothing. No explanation for why the package received was so unsatisfactory, no indication how they were going to remedy the situation.
I hope the next two months' gift boxes - the fruit club and the pasta club - are more satisfactory. It's not very nice to feel you've given someone a cheap gift.
My son was kind enough to get us a membership in the movie club of amazing clubs. For approximately $40 per shipment you get a coupon for a Redbox rental. That means you have to know enough to sign up to Redbox find, find the location, and pick up your movie for a one night rental. The candies and popcorn they throw in may be the equivalent of $10. They make a profit of $30 every shipment. Not only is that exorbitant there is no value to this experience since Redbox is only limited to those that are available digitally. Totally worthless experience.
I gifted my daughters family last Christmas with a12 month-one delivery every 3 months mixed selection packaged. Two of the packages, although stated as different, were almost identical deliveries. The last delivery assortment of teas contained two cheap inferior products, herbal tea and chamomile. NO green or black teas that my daughter and husband enjoy. One would be much better off financially picking your own products and shipping them your self to the desired recipient. I will never use this club in the furture.
All ontario beer and a couple of ciders about the same as two years ago
Delivered to post office for pick up
Cancelled the balance of order with lackluster customer service rep
The beer is not very tasty, the pizza is not served with olive oil, we were not even put salt and pepper on the table. I like the interior, it's beautiful.
My wine was scheduled to arrive the last week of each agreed upon shipping month and as time went by the arrival date was slowly pushed forward into the following month, later and later… not to mention how cheap and undrinkable the wine was. Poor quality, not good value.
Bottles say 750ml on the label. The 2 on the left are from amazing clubs. The one on the right, that is actually 750ml. What a difference. For $50 a month! Wow. What a rip off. Will never purchase again.
I bought flowers to be delivered every other month for a family member. The first month was great! Flowers arrived on time, and she was happy with them She sent me a picture, and they were beautiful. The second month she got the same arrangement. Weird, but we thought maybe it was just a mistake. The third month - Still the same arrangement! Why would any company do this? No one wants the same flower arrangement on repeat. What's weirder is that customer service couldn't really give a straight answer of WHY they would keep sending the same arrangement month after month. I even asked if I had done something wrong when I placed the order. The lady I spoke with said no I didn't do anything wrong, and said something about "that's how it is with the monthly club..." or something like that. She kind of mumbled it. But there's a contradictory statement on their website: "Each month we'll deliver a new and different selection of premium, exotic flowers..." Different being the key word.
The one good thing I will say is that she didn't give me a hard time about a refund. That said, I JUST made the call so it hasn't had time to show up in my account yet. Hopefully the refund goes through smoothly.
Still have not received 1st beer of the month shipment after 5 months. No one has contacted me or replied to me
Good prices, nice staff, tasty drinks. I really liked it here, I'll definitely come back again. I recommend everyone to visit this place.
I love this for family members that live far away. Also, their customer service team is excellent. They are reasonably priced, on time and have a wide variety.
Stay Away. Purchased 2 subscriptions to the Beer Club as gifts. Some of the beers were as expected, but for the price, averaging about $5 a can, most LCBOs will have an equivalent selection. Two big issues were the high proportion of sours we received; about 4 cans of the 12 each month. (and the fact that, at that price of $5 a can, I expected tallboys, not a high proportion of regular sized cans). Sours are not really everyones favourite, and not really wanted in the depths of winter… seems like leftover stock from breweries summer inventory. The biggest issue was the delivery service. BEWARE that they will not leave the parcel on your doorstep like Amazon will- in below freezing weather it will freeze( reasonable). BUT, if someone isnt there to receive it, the parcel will be rerouted to the local CanPar depot, and CanPar has limited hours for pickup. If you cant make it to the local CANPAR within 5 days, its sent back and you are charged another $30 for delivery. (another $2.50 a can). After contacting customer support and asking to just keep our beer and refund the months fees, we were essentially told to suck
Lemons. We weee reminded of the purchase agreement stating that delivery issues were our problem, so, tough. Now they have our $60 AND our beer, because I'd rather not pay $90 for 12 cans of beer from last summer. If you are looking at this as a gift, beware- its more trouble for your recipient than a gift certificate to their favourite brewery, or a gift basket that you create for them from your local LCBO. Do either of the last 2, but stay away from the mediocre beers, inconvenient deliveries, and unreasonable customer support.
They had to be reminded to send the first shipment, which came half frozen. The second never arrived, no notification from the shipping company. Tried to charge me to resend. F that, we're done. I don't do business with amateurs.
I ordered the flower of the month club for my mom expecting flowers to be varied as they show on the site. Instead, she received the same tropical bouquet month after month. Misleading information on the site and over $40month! ($500+/year).
I reached out to Clubs Support a couple of times who emailed my what seemed like a form letter that said, " Thank you for your email.
We do apologize for any dissatisfaction regarding the Flower Club selections. I do see the final shipment of your subscription is March. Once the final shipment is completed, your subscription will automatically expire.
We do apologize for any inconveniences."
WHAT? That's the response from a company that guarantees satisfaction? Just keep paying $43/month until the subscription ends and then the product will stop coming at which time you will no longer be unsatisfied?!
Not ok, Amazing Clubs. Guaranteed satisfaction means that if we're not satisfied you either make it right or refund.
Do better.
I was given a subscription for beer of the month. Because of the courier they use, the shipment would not be completed in November because I work full time and could not sign for it. When I tried to pick it up, they (ups) refused to give me the package or tell me where it was and they returned it. UPS then offered to hold future shipments at a local branch for me to pick up with an ID. Amazing clubs refunded me for the returned package and I set up for future deliveries to go to the local hub for me to pick up. This worked in January, but in February, without notice, that ups hub rejected and returned my package without permission. Amazing clubs is refusing to refund me for this shipment despite multiple attempts and no way for me to receive these goods paid for. I need a refund.
I ordered a 3 month beer subscription as a birthday gift. Never received the first shipment, they used some random currier service, not Fed Ex or UPS. When I called, they said they would re-ship it and have a supervisor call or email me. Great! But that never happened, so I had to call again and oh wait, they tagged the reshipment on to the end of 3 month subscription so now I have to wait 3 months for it. Then the 2nd month shipped, with a different random currier, tracking says it was delivered but it's not here. Customer service is very nice, and they were able to cancel my subscription and make sure future payments would not be charged, however they could not refund the 2 payments charged that I never received. So once again I'm waiting for a supervisor to call me. If they don't call or refund me, I'll be sure to update my review. But either way, I'm never using them again and would not recommend them to anyone
I called to correct an error I had made when placing a gift order and spoke with Martha. Even though I did not have the order number she located it and fixed my mistake. The process took only a few minutes and was very easy.
Answer: This is not relevant to my review. This is someone else's inquiry
Answer: Slow. But if you wrote a bad review, they are all over it instantly!
Answer: I wudnt say a scam. But extremely expensive with phrases like "free shipping " "add a greeting card for a dollar"... combative service rep

Thanks, Kimberly, for your review and for your excellent photos. To our eyes, your photos are beautiful and show exactly what our website promises, "a new and different selection of premium, exotic flowers every month". Your photos do an excellent job of showing the freshness and variety that we're proud to deliver to our members. To all of our potential customers reading this, we're very sorry that Kimberly isn't happy but please look closely at her photos. We're proud of these deliveries and if you're of the opinion that these are somehow the same every month, our service is probably not for you. Thanks again, Kimberly, for taking the time to write your review.
