I ordered a watch through AliExpress. I cancelled it because I didn't see the refunds I thought I added to the item. I reordered the same item, made sure the refunds were included. I received the item, no problem, but never got the refund from the cancelled item. It says cancelled on their site, but no bueno. I've spent months trying to get it back, including conversations with SteelDive, the merchant I bought the watch from, and PayPal, who were also terrible. Lost $140.

Also know that because of the low prices of many of the products, the quality can often be hit-or-miss, varying from very low quality, to surprisingly decent quality. I once bought a 3 dollar shirt, which even though was legit, had very stretchy and low quality fabric, making it easy to stain. I would recommend reading the reviews before buying any prodcut, and not buying a product at all if it has no reviews. Another trade of for the low prices is the shipping time.The longest a free shipping package has taken to arrive to me is 1 month, which compared to free shipping with other countries, is a lot in my opinion. Although payed shipping is available for most products, it can cost up to 80 US dollars.
I overall recommend the site as long as you shop smart.

The seller sent me the wrong product, requested a returned and refund and he refused. When to Aliexpress explaining that its my fault the the seller sent the wring product and they said I have to pay for the return to China or not refund. Their adds saying free shipping and 100% protection.
My order was over 600 USD and I didn't be able to return it or get a refund. Created a dispute for one month and even they said correct it the wrong products they didn't refund anything or pick it up.
I don't work for any competition, i want to let everybody know this. They are fouling people with the 100% protection.
If I get a bad product it is very hard to argue about it. It seems to be a connection between understanding the reality of a problem and what the company earns on the byer. Sometimes there are language problems, but I think the main problem is that routines are made for making profit, not for customers. I can be sure to get a lot of commercials on the way, if I try to get support. I bought a screen without a proper working program and could not get any help on how to get it to work or refund. I suggested that they put out an open program with instructions on how to install, like I see on Github sometimes, but I am not sure if they want to understand what I am talking about. Answers was given with maximum delay and my problem "solved" by over due handling time. The store wanted me to take back my review on AliExpress and told me the would send refund by e-mail. They also agreed to refund earlier in the argumentation (see document) After I answered that the procedure only allow additional review, I have not heard anything from them. I have also contacted the brand online, trough a site provided by the store, but I got no answer from them.
Seller stated they shipped item, no tracking was uploaded. I asked about this and they canceled my order without even responding to me. Aliexpress said they have to wait to "Make sure I don't receive the item" before they'll give my money back when all evidence shows that it was never even shipped. Another order came in horribly stitched and the wrong size and they only issued a $10 refund when it was a $50 item. You'll spend less elsewhere in the long run, trust.
If there was a zero star rating I would have used that. I received a defective product but Aliexpress sided with the seller. Don't know why I was surprised. Of course they would choose the seller over one single customer cause they make money through each other. Aliexpress's "promise" to stand behind their customers is an absolute joke! Save yourself some grief and frustration and buy from a different company.
Very bad experience with this site. I bought a mobile phone. Unfortunately, the local delivery company lost the item. Seller Aliexpress did not want to take the responsability and despite being given proof of the postal service, they did not submit the refund after three months since the purchase was made. They did not want to contact the postal service. 250 USD lost. You probably cannot believe me, however, this is real. I WAS SCAMMED BY ALIEXPRESS. I will never buy on Aliexpress. Aliexpress should be banned in EUROPE and UK.

Disgusting refereeing
I have a diamond siatus for aliexpress, hundreds of orders over several years. I first faced unfair judging when the seller did not put part of the jewelry set in the order and no evidence from my side convinced aliexpress.
The weight of the parcel when sending is 0.03 grams (see photo), there must be a ring and a necklace. When opening a completely intact package, the ring was not inside. I immediately opened the dispute and added evidence.
Even weighed the necklace.
Only one necklace weighs 0.04 grams.
Therefore, if there was a ring in the package, the total weight could not be 0.03 grams!
But aliexpress was not convinced. They were not convinced that the necklace is 1.5 times more expensive than the ring; if I were lying, I would have written that the necklace was missing. But aliexpress continued to demand evidence, some documents from the post office, although the weight of the parcel when it was sent already proves the seller's lie.
As a result, aliexpress refused to give me a refund, and the seller deleted his store because of my negative review. Now he will open a new store and lie to customers again.
I waited for the order for 3 weeks, I paid for it honestly, and in the end they force me to prove my honesty.
Aliexpress requires video recording of the process of unpacking the parcel! And what proof is required from the seller? None other than the tracking number of the parcel! Seller can put any rubbish in the parcel, and the buyer is obliged to prove it a lie.

I asked for a refund and they denied it because the same thing happened before and they refunded my money. So I re ordered from a different vender and the same thing happened. This time no refund even after a dispute. I have ordered many things from them and had no problems until now. They even closed my account so they wouldn't have to deal with me. I will be telling everyone that the products take way to long to get if you actually get them. The lower price is good until they rip you off!
This site is totally unsafe u don't recommend people to use it, first delivery time is the worst from sellers, secondly if you ask AliExpress for assistance they will be always on the side of seller and they don't even read carefully your complain emails.
I order bait boat with more than 400 usd expecting delivery on 15 days and its delivered after more than 2 months while im on vacation after i back i check i found problem seller not willing to help or respond to chat and i complain to support team they said same language.

Site has way too many fake sellers. There is way too much scams going on. A lot of waste of time with them always. I received like 10% of what I order and have to wait months to receive it usually. After about 100 orders ready to give up on them. Honestly had a much better experience on E-Bay.
Also their customer service is not the best, their bot takes way to long to figure out it needs to relay the inquiry to an actual CSR.
This store has the best clothing and their accessories are conspicuous.If you want to update your wardrobe check this store. The price are better if not cheap.
I bought 150 of books last year. I never received them or refund. Instead, I got automated response from their robot chat. The seller said that they could issue me refund, because it was handled by Aliexpress, and they used their shipping. Aliexpress didn't bother to respond with.

Beaware from sellers in this platform. Check every details and don't buy from someone you don't trust as Ali express will do nothing to protect you. I ordered an item from a seller that item has a standard size (Door handle). The seller sent a tiny one and when i filled a dispute Ali express put the fault on me as I should have make sure of every single details even when the seller doesn't provide it in the item description before I buy and rejected my request to return or refund the item.
Even if the item was within the standards, the quality was bad and Ali express requested a testify from "Certified testin Organization" to accept my claim!
I buy from Ali Express to save money, THIS WILL COST ME 10 TIMES THE ITEM PRICE!
