The worst experience ever had for online purchasing. I made a purchase of 5 items. None of them were delivered. Two items were refunded to me in about a month for no reason. They simply closed the order. One item was refunded about two months later because the shipment was not delivered while the order is closing. So, I disputed and got a refund. So far, looks OK, just a little annoying. Then comes to the last two items. These two items were shipped out immediately after I place the order. I thought these two items will be the first I would receive. About 20 days later(in late Aug), I noticed the Ali order tracking shows fail to deliver. I contacted the store directly because nobody showed up for delivery. I don't why they would say fail to delivery. I was told to be patient because custom clearance takes time. Then the tracking shows estimate delivery in late Sep (don't remember it was 18-Sep or 20-Sep). But when it is the date, the tracking no longer shows an estimated delivery date. I thought I would just wait, so no action was taken. In Oct, the order is about to close, I contacted the store. This time, there is only system auto response. Then I started the dispute process. Ali customer service told me to contact the local carrier for delivery. I called Canada Post. I was told there was something on the package which made them believe they should return the package back to the shipper and the package was already on the way back to the shipper. I told Ali customer service. Ali customer service told me because I did not dispute the Aug fail to delivery issue, it is my fault. So, they would not refund me. This is the worst reason I heard every from customer service. I contacted Ali with a screenshot of my dispute in Aug. No response from Ali customer service. I checked Ali's online service, all order shows closed, dispute close. I no longer have a chance to dispute this order.

I bought just twice. It is never what is described on the web page. And we I invited Dispute, the seller changed my agreement. Custom Service recommended just to leave it that way and to initiate an appeal. GRRRRR. It took forever everything,.

The site sells directly from China but does not offer better pricing than websites based in the US. The problem is with AliExpress support and disputes. If you have a problem with an order you will lose the dispute and will get no resolution options. So you file a dispute and YOU WILL LOSE because it is AliExpress and they only want your money.
If you use a US company you have at least a chance to win or get resolution. I deleted my account and will never buy from them again.

Brought a clone DRT Tiny Klash from this company. Package never came. Address mislabelled on purpose and sent to the wrong address that doesn't even exist. Can't get a refund from store or AliExpress. Zero stars.

Exceptional value for the money!

Forget eBay or Amazon! I have ordered over half a dozen items from them and every one of them has been of good quality and received in reasonable time, except for one from a battery store. The store had the nerve to refuse a refund even though I had not received it, but AliExpress was lightning fast in resolving the dispute and I had the refund on my card the very next day. Very pleased. I will continue buying from AliExpress.

Aliexpress is known for its insanely low prices but do not be fooled by the photos on the website! Although everything is an abnormally low price, 90% of the time, the things you order will not look exactly like they do in the photos or will be of poor quality. I live in New Zealand and the shipping often takes extremely long too (ie. 3-6 weeks) so don't order anything off this site if you are looking for it to arrive immediately. The website is good if you're looking for cheap dupes of certain designer items or expensive products.

Don't Trust AliExpress!

They allow their suppliers to practice unethical business on their platform. Many of us had experienced purchasing goods and not receiving them, contacting the suppliers, and receiving no response. What's worst, they agreed to refund and you're not receiving the refund and the supplier no longer exists! DON'T TRUST AliExpress!

Hit or miss

Worthless site. One never knows which order the seller decides to ship and which they just provide invalid tracking numbers for. 4 out of 4 recent orders, placed with 4 different vendors, have never made it to its destination, even though emails were sent with shipping confirmations and invalid tracking numbers. Canceling all of them and seriously doubt I will be wasting any more time on Ali Express than this poor review.

Although the price + shipping is slightly lower than Amazon, overall quality and customer service is suboptimal. I have been purchasing from AliExpress for about a year, no impressive product at all. This is a channel to ship counterfeit / low quality products from TaoBao. Avoid it. The slight cost saving is totally not worth it. You end up paying useless products. There is no customer service number you can find.

I ordered a part and asked to have it shipped to my address in the city but the shipper decided that it was a remote address and asked for more money. So I gave them another address but they don't seem to understand English instructions. Both addresses are on my aliecpress site.

Bad service

I ordered some green lime sandals Sz 9
End up getting sz 7 black sandals.
Complete wrong order.
I leave in Canada. I have to return the item. It's going to cost me 68.00 dolllars in Canadian money to return the item. A ridiculous amount.
I tried to contact the seller to see if I can get a free return label he ignored me.
No response. He sold me the wrong thing and I'm stuck with it while he took my money.
Horrible service and no one to acknowledge my issue or refund my money. Scammers. Done shopping With Ali express. They don't care. Amazon all the way

I've been ordering a lot of stuff in this website and so far I have no complaints. You can find a lot of items to use for your small business or personal use. I recommend checking the reviews of the item before purchasing and always look for reviews with pictures.

For pros, they offer stuff you can't get elsewhere for decent prices and that is it.

Negatives, sellers range from good to bad with no way to vet them or verify reliability and trust other than user reviews plus bad sellers can easily make a new account so they are prevalent and not weeded out. Aliexpress doesn't have the customer's back at all if a product is defective, usually they require you to ship it back to China and the seller has to pay for the shipping! Since the shipping is more expensive than the item originally cost, this is a popular loophole for sellers to escape justice.

I have put through about 20 orders in my lifetime on aliexpress and I would say I have had issues with about 40% of those orders, whether missing items, quality, etc. and not once have I "won" a dispute due to the prohibited costs mentioned above.

I would only go here if you have no other option and then after submitting your order... pray.

Buying from AliExpress is gambling. You never know if your order will be shipped and if the seller is honest. I did order a few times and it was fine but there are lots of scammers and they just let you know it was shipped when it wasn't. You wait a month and open dispute and some of the sellers would not even reply.
AliExpress has no policy to protect customers. None. It is automatic replies and they close your case if any problem without even looking into it. Shocking! I sent them my discussion with the seller and all the pictures evidence. Seller sent me one piece of the product instead of 29! They refused to refund. All the proof of communication and pictures was provided to aliexpress team. They closed the dispute without any action. Seriously? Did they even look into my case? Shocking! I lost more than $40
Not just sellers on AliExpress but AliExpress themself are scammers!

Scammed twice now

I ha e ow been scammed twice in Aliexpress in the last month. PLEASE DO NOT BUT ANY PHONES FROM THEM. They are fake copies and have false specifications.
Mine had 4 camera on the back and only one was real and 3mp instead of 48mp
Water of time and the return process is a shamble

Aliexpress and the band of thieves

I have to start the story at the beginning. Six years ago I suffered kidney failure from training incorrectly for an ultra marathon. Too much salt, too little water, too little attention. Since then my running has become walking and lately the only sport I can do is riding on my home built e-bike. Being competitive by nature I was excited to being able to enter the an icomic 109 km cycle race, on my e-bike. Problem is, will my battery last? To try and get that question answered and the fact that locally e-bikes are expensive and new concept, I bought several batteries from Aliexpress over a period of months. Here is where the story of extremely poor service starts.
I have been doing business with Aliexpress for years. Generally the product was delivered or refund given. Now as most knows, our local Post Office is non-functional. So, importing anything has been a disaster. After payment, Aliexpress notifies me of shipping and the transit of the package which eventually ends in delivered. To make matters worse they say they delivered it to my address. Not that I receive anything, but they delivered it. To where I still have to find out because they never give a signature or a place where they delivered it, no matter how much I ask. They require the Post Ofiice to supply me with missing proof of parcel. Which is impossible. They never give a South African tracking number - so the post office will never give you anything because their tracking number does not pull through. So one is stuck without proof and without anything. Eventually, no matter how much you correspond with Aliexpress, they always rule against you. I corresponded with the post office (local, area and provincial), with customs, phone the Post Office Help line several times (never an answer), held on for more than an hour (no answer), contacted their shipping company in China, contacted the seller, proved that the post office is non-functional, even bought some stuff at Amazon to see how they do it. All in vain. 4 Batteries bought, zero arrived. I even went to buy loose batteries from a seller that uses DHL, only to have it changed to "Sellers own method" and resulting non delivery. Aliexpress was deaf to my 17 documents of proof maintaining their supposed delivery which didn't even give a local tracking number. It suits them never to answer your questions about - prove delivery. No, you, the client must proof non - delivery. What absolute hogwash. A non-legal concept.
Now 8 months later, I will never buy from them again. They never ship to your address and our Post Office is defunct. For me the worse, is that they always not pay out even though it is plainly their mistake. Protecting their trader, against the paying client, that is their motto. I have a 48 page document that backs up everything I say.
