I ordered a laptop motherboard (Order # **************) from the only seller that had one. It was June 9,2020. Aliexpress asked me to wait additional time to allow for delivery changes because of the pandemic. When the time was over, I opened a dispute but they never helped me resolve the matter. I even produced a letter from the main Costa Rica Mail Office here stating it had not arrived. I never got the product and was never reimbursed so I have since vowed to never use Aliexpress again nor would I ever recommend them.
Do not buy. You will spend your money, time and energy. I ordered an item two months before needed and it didn't arrive. Now AliExpress is giving me a difficult time with a refund.

So-called customer "service" decided that clear visual evidence was not sufficient proof and demanded reviews from the vendor (who, as far as I was concerned, WAS AliExpress; there were no references to third-party sellers on the order site). When I pointed this out, I was told that I needed a shipper's damage assessment. Again, there were no details on the tracking site about the shipping company of origin or the transfer to the final delivery agent. All this over a little thing that cost less than $10. I would think their reputation is worth more than that, but apparently they do not.

Ordered a man's ring and lighted wall clock. Received wall clock promptly and very nice. Men's ring never received. No tracking number or shipping confirmation. Seller clearly a scam. Notified Alipay twice and no response. So if you like 50/50 odds; order away.
I ordered a product and got the message "Pick up your package. Your order is ready to pick up. You have 15 days to collect your package." However, there was no indication where I should pick it up. I clicked on "track order" and found the message "Awaiting for you to pick-up" with no adress. I try to contact customer service, there is only a non-functioning bot, no possibility to chat with live customer service, send e-mail or phone somebody. I am never going to use AliExpress or buy anything from Alibaba.

I purchased several products on AliExpress, and some of the stuff were small. I tried returning the products that didn't fit within the 15-day return policy. But to no avail. I guess, I will be sending these product to charity. Amazon is a much better platform that is customer focus.
You pay them. They send something else or something that's broken and keep the money. Two months later - still refuses to give back all the money. They refund just a tiny percentage and tell you it is not their policy to refund in full, even if they send you the wrong item or even if the item they send is defective.
They make it so very difficult to actually talk to a real person (there are youtube videos showing how you can do that) but even then the person you get to just says they will escalate the complaint and that's the end of the matter.

I ordered a battery charger and a month later received the wrong charger. I spend 2 weeks going back and forth with AliExpress and they would not send me the correct charger or offer to pay for return of the incorrect one. DO NOT buy anything from these Chinese crooks. Pay a little more and get what you need in a few days from a US company.
I purchased multiple items, tracking said "delivered" for my items. I have timestamp cameras, no deliveries. I disputed each item that was undelivered, and AliExpress denied them. DO NOT USE THEM.
I bought an eScooter battery and it is complete garbage! I wanted to return the item, but the cost of sending it to China from the US is astronomical. I tried working it out with the seller, and they kept asking me for shipping companies, telling me the battery wasn't fully charged before use, and anything else they could do to give me the run-around.
Small items are fine, because if the product is total garbage (which, pretty much anything coming out of this country is), you can afford the loss. DO NOT BUY anything above what you can afford to lose, AliExpress as the supporting website does not help at all! YOU HAVE BEEN FORWARNED!
This a front for scam vendors. They advertise for these vendors then they do not acknowledge any responsibility when their vendors do not deliver the product ordered. It only cost me $40; I'll chalk this up to education.
All of my 20 or so shopping experiences have been very good thus far. Fast shipping (Canada), good quality, customer support excellent, returns fast and easy.
Recently I purchased or made a purchase I should say, of a product through AliExpress. On receiving a receipt from AliExpress, the said receipt was not for the product I purchased. The correct details of the product are shown on my PayPal account which AliExpress also has a copy. I have sent AliExpress a number of emails advising them that they were forwarding me the incorrect product and if they can't forward me the correct product I ordered, I would like a refund of monies paid. To date I have not received a reply. I find this very annoying and very unprofessional. The purchase was made on the 3rd of December 2022. I have used AliExpress before without any problems but definitely won't be using them again, unless I get satisfaction with this purchase and the way things are going it doesn't look good. I decided to try this site only because the prices were incredibly low. Here are my real-life experiences with this site. I decided in 2022 to give this site a try and see if it was worth buying from. I decided on a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 replacement screen. Normally this screen is close to 200 but I got one on this site for 35. It took about 3 weeks to get it as it was coming from China. I was well packaged and arrived undamaged. The problem was there was no hookup wiring harness attached to the board or any instructions. I know how to replace these screens as I have done it several times; I am hard on my computers. I contacted Aliexpress and enclosed a picture of the item. Aliexpress promptly refunded me the full purchase price and did not require me to ship it back. This at least showed me this site was a legitimate site. So, since then I have ordered numerous items and had virtually no problems. The last item I bought was a Posturepedic dog bed for my large dog. The price for this in the USA is close to 200; Aliexpress sold it to me for 52.00. There were no shipping charges nor was there any TAX! They guaranteed the item would arrive in 1 week; I received it in 5 days! I do not know how long this tax-free status will stay in effect but the savings you get far outweigh any tax. You can also pull up the item you want and compare prices from different vendors to get the best prices. Read carefully the description of the item you are ordering so there are no misunderstandings. If you are dissatisfied with an item you have an Aliexpress guarantee. I did have one item that was not as described and requested a partial refund but was refused for no good reason and presently contesting it but it was not a big ticket item and I did get part of the order so not total loss. Lots of items ship free for a very small shipping charge. Large items can require large shipping charges so check shipping charges closely. The only real negative is the long travel delay to get to you which is generally 2-3 weeks although some items ship in just a week. Basically, you are getting great prices as you did on eBay 25 years ago but I imagine over time this will change. I used my PayPal account to pay for items and had absolutely no problems. Not all items have great prices but most are a fraction of what it will cost you in the USA. Aliexpress has almost any item you are looking for and if you buy online as I do, I would strongly advise you to give this great site a try. I get no compensation from Aliexpress for this review but I like to review great products and sites as well as very bad ones. Not receive goods I was order. Clearly see on tracking that carrier is lost parcel. AE not accept this and no refund. Completely scam
They put incomplete address on package that never arrived, since it was returned by Post Office. The refund took for ever (3 months) and shipping charges were deducted. Never again will I order from this place. By the way all electronic communications that don't lead to much.

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. I have ordered tother items thru Aliexpress without a problem but you should get rid of the bad ones. I am reluctant to use Aliexpress again after this bad experience.

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.
