I first started to purchase items from Ali Express in May 2022,these were a few tee shirts when they arrived from various different companies under the umbrella of Ali Express they varied greatly in quality to such an extend three I took to a complaint and in all fairness I was refunded within days. Various other items I purchased without any issues, I should mention that they were small items of fishing tackle and little could be arguable in this case. Then I purchased a few items over £40, one was with free shipping the other a guaranteed 15 day delivery. I had the shipping added in later on the free shipping and the 15 day guaranteed delivery turned up nearly a month later. I took both cases to dispute and neither Ali Express nor the retailer expressed any interest in a refund and gave a generic lip service reply. In both instances I took my dispute to my credit card company,in one case they have refunded me and the other is continuing.
With Ali Express I would consider the following before purchasing.
1. If you are in any kind of delivery date requirement,don't buy. Guaranteed delivery dates are used purely as a tool to advertise. All kinds of excuses are used to wriggle out.
2. Disregards any images relating to the size of the item, resizing and all kinds of image enhancements are used.
3.Expect most of your purchase to be non-original. Remember,in the main your item will be a Chinese reproduction and produce, herein known as (Crap).
Buying online can sometimes be a daunting experience and I have found eBay a far friendlier place and more likely to give both the buyer and the seller better protection,in fact there are a lot of sellers from Ali Express who trade via eBay, but at least you have a fairer system in place in the event of any issues.
Would I still buy from Ali Express,only certain items where I know misrepresentation is less likely.

This screen does not work at all. AliExpress do no support me to return the screen and to refund the money. Much better to buy from Amazon.

I ordered three items and received two which is not quality, size on site as suggested was wrong. The order was sent November 27and I was sent a text it was delivered December 17 which was Saturday. Canadian post office is closed on weekends and Niaahinn Store still insists the item was delivered on weekend. I filled a dispute contact the seller and the website and both said dispute solution: no-refund. Please stop shopping at AliExpres is fake website and sellers shop at Amazon is legit site and refund or return are simple as ABC. AliExpress purchase protection is BS don't waste your money as I did. If you want to buy scrubs order from Jaanuu.com clothing Venues.com or Amazon.com you never go wrong. Never buy any expensive item which has one year guaranty. If it stopped worked before you never got replacement nor money back
Aliexpress is a Fraud! No protection for the garbage it sells and no customer service quality. Do not waste your money on its garbage. Recently I purchase a 4TB USB storage and after I transferred my data, within a few days all of my data disappeared after spending a couple of hundred dollars none of that recovered.
Don't ever buy headsets or earphones from AliExpress as there is no way you can get a claim or refund if there is any defect unless you got professional testing tools to prove the products is defective. Which means for 10 or 20 dollar worth item claim, you have to spend a day and be equipped to prove the products is defective and show evidence that either there is no sound or the sound is defective or distorted. A place where scammers are scamming customers in any possible way, and aliexpress deletes negative customer reviews about these scammers. Dont expect to be protected, to have a right for something. You have right to be scammed only. And dont expect fair disputes-all og them are closed for benefit of scammers
I bought an android tablet for $114 and received it to find that it was a fake. I followed the refund process and spent $45 to return it, then waited months for my refund but never got $1 back. Now lost the tablet and all my money + $45 shipping too. Aliexpress was NO HELP AT ALL, they sided with the seller. The service ask me get the damage certificate from carrier, and then discuss the refund in next steps, that means the service don't want me get refund, why not ask seller get damage certificate, how bad experience! Seller choose the carrier and they only recognized the seller because they pay the transport fee
I ordered 2 micro sd cards 1 was already corrupted upon delivery, the other the very next day. Their system will not let me start a return/refund case. Don't waste your time and money to receive trash that you eventually have to dispose.

Well this company never sent my order, as a matter of fact, they cancelled it after marking "shipped". I sent the seller a message asking for a refund, and they refused saying that I needed to dispute with Aliexpress.

I ordered a laptop motherboard (Order # **************) from the only seller that had one. It was June 9,2020. Aliexpress asked me to wait additional time to allow for delivery changes because of the pandemic. When the time was over, I opened a dispute but they never helped me resolve the matter. I even produced a letter from the main Costa Rica Mail Office here stating it had not arrived. I never got the product and was never reimbursed so I have since vowed to never use Aliexpress again nor would I ever recommend them.
