I bought a battery from Alixpress and when the item was arrived and it was not as described. So I filed a dispute and Aliexpress told me to send the item back for refund but there was a catch that I had to pay for shipping charge instead of the seller and the shipping cost was more than the battery itself.
Do not buy anything expensive from Alliexpress or China because returning purchased items could result in high cost and dishonest from one sellers in China. Buy only with EBay or Amazon or reputable Chinese vendors have offices in the USA.
I have been buying from Alibaba Express for many years. There were some minor problems but what saved made up for the errors. I got an adult shirt that was too small for a 10 year old. I got serveral items that broke right after leaving the package. Three years ago I was missing a package and a refund was processed within a week. Three week later it arrived and I returned the refund. Last year a package did not arrive and they asked me for "proof that it was not delivered and closed the dispute" Last month a package did not arrived and I initiated a dispute. For three weeks they said "it was at my post office" I looked at the reviews and this happend to dozens of other people. I initiated a dispute and was told that I had to calim from Paypal. Paypal told me they have to claim form Alipay. The process has gone in circles for another several weeks. I stopped ordering anything. I got a cell phone case today that looked good and was labeled with the right phone but it would not fit. I worked out my orders and what I had saved over the years. As long as everything works as planned I've had a good success rate. If anything goes wrong, kiss your $$$ goodbye.
Their customer support is a joke. Everything is automated and the system just keeps stringing you on with "wait 10 days for the resolution" and then when that 10 days is up it adds another 10 days. This keeps happening until the system automatically marks the order delivered even though the tracking info says otherwise.
An online Chat does seem to connect with a real person but that person apparently has no authority to override the automated process.
Roll the dice if you're so inclined but the price better be worth the wait & risk!

I ordered a hard drive which did not work at all. The seller would only refund if I sent a video. What good is a video of a non-working HD? Its just a way to avoid having to provide a refund. AliExpress offered me $1.00 for my troubles. They were $34.00 shy of the refund mark. This company sucks and the products they sell aren't much better.

I ordered something I loved. However, when I checked the tracking, it said I owed charges for ups delivery. #1 When I ordered, I did not choose this shipping. #2 If I would have known the time I was making the order, I would not have ordered. Aliexpress should mention these charges when one is ordering, not suprise the customer after they ordered. Aliexpress should pay these surprises. Very disappointing. Will not order from them anymore. If the price is X, it should remain that price, not increase. You lose credibility that way.
At least 20% of time the packages shows as delivered or at post office. But nobody can help. And nobody knows where it is. So write off you money

They advertise free shipping, then contacted me after I ordered my product to ask for more money for shipping. We went back and forth for a while. They said I can cancel my order and to choose the option "I don't want it" as the reason. I told them I would not do that and that I would choose the truthful option, the seller won't ship it. The store denied the refund, forcing me to wait 10 days for my refund. Unless I picked the reason for refund they told me to.
I typically do not trust ordering products from Japan or China. I placed and order with AliExpress and once again I did not receive the product. This was an inexpensive trial just to see whether they were trustworthy and they have prove to not be.
Don't deal with these people. Period. Don't get sucked into made in China products that are inferior and that will cost you $100-150 to return when you see it's bad news and want a refund. BUY AMERICAN IF YOU CAN EVER FIND SOMETHING! Don't help the Chinese run their horrible country.
BUYER BEWARE! I placed an order Jan. 31,2023; today is Mar. 21,2023. The order I placed was never received. When I opened a dispute with AliExpress, they told me it was stuck in shipment and that I had to contact the shipping company. When I replied asking for the contact information for the shipping company, they never replied. Then they closed my dispute and I was not able to open another dispute on the item. I never got the order and it appears I'm out the money I paid them. I will never deal with this company again and caution everyone not buy from them.

While some of the products are very cheaply made and the sellers don't worry about packing products well. It is the descriptions that get me. They use the wrong words to describe items and when you call them on it they act as if you can't read or was not paying attention when you looked at the listing. Not all it bad I have made about 4 purchases. 2 I disputed and both I lost money on. This last one was due to the discription. They call it a projector. Which I was looking for not a full size but a part. What I got was a bluetooth adapter. I asked for my money back, I had to go through a dispute. And of course they have no idea what I'm saying when I say it is not a projector but an adapter. Even though the box has adapter on it. Aliexpress is siding with the company. What did I expect for them to look at the description and the product? Silly me...not all are like this but a lot are... A LOT. Beware of what you buy and how it is phrased. Cause the Language Barrier Is Real. The item is down for now but will be back soon you can bet on that and with no disceiption changed.
I orderded a few items, and was tracking it through the website on my mobile. All a sudden, today the orders went missing as if my order didn't exist, got me all stressed out. I had no luck with their 'help instructions', their instructions are s#!+ And there is no live chat or anyone who could help me. After spending half an hour searching on the internet, I saw a past posting on this issue and managed to find my order. I'm so angry at how this company has no customer service. I don't think I'll buy here again unless my items are less than $40 and I could afford to lose out on items.

I bought a e88 watch from Ali, it arrived defective. Wrote them 2 emails, no response. Opened a dispute in timely manner, they sent link saying dispute ended and click on link for results. When the link is clicked on it takes you on a dead end circle on their website, and no answer for dispute. Have asked for clarification of dispute, they send same link.
Do NOT BUY FROM ALI EXPRESS. They will end up with your money you end up with apiece of junk.
I have made 6 separate purchases from AliExpress, involving 4 different vendors and 12 different items, made on four different dates spanning over three months.
There were problems with every purchase with only and they all had an element of scamming. To date, I only received one-third of the items. Of these, 6 items were from the same vendor but only 2 items were received. I received upsells when I purchased one item which were perceived to be good deals. But it became evident they only made partial shipments so they could prove delivery then the onus was put on my to prove I did not receive delivery of the other items. In spite of sending photos of my shipment and appealing it, my claim was rejected due to insufficient proof that my order was not received. This is their scam which I learned is a popular scam. Also, the two items I did receive were not properly packaged and both were badly damaged.
Another of these vendor's items was supposed to be a tool but instead I literally received a photo of a tool. As I reread the auction, it was almost impossible to know this with only one small hint hidden in the content.
A third vendor's items were a set of screws that were labelled in such a way that I took them as the North American measurements. But when they arrived, they were micro screws that were nothing like what I expected and not useable. The only way I would get my refund is to ship them back which would cost me more than I paid for them. I opted not to do this because of how unlikely it was that I would actually get a refund if I did.
All rejected claims were appealed and AliExpress was definitely NOT on the buyers side. The best I can tell, the appeal never even made it to a human as the denied appeal was instant after submitting them.

However, the seller decided to send me an American 110-volt equipment because my address is in America. Thus, against what I ordered for. The seller will not accept the gadgets back so I filed for refund. To my surprise, Aliexpress decided that I have no grounds to return the equipment. Yes, on their discretion, the seller sent a voltage equipment different from the one I paid for but Aliexpress says I cannot return it. Be aware of Aliexpress because they protect rogue Chinese enterprises.

I have made three purchases on Aliexpress over the past three months, and all three three times the Chinese have deceived me. 1st: On December 6,2022, I paid on the website for order No. 5094 4601 7776 8974, LK*******CN, for a battery for a video camera, for 935 rubles. The result - the battery was sent a faulty one, Aliexpress decided to pay me the money on February 12,2023. But today is already March 17,2023, and the money is not being paid, although the payment is declared on the website in 3-20 days! After making this decision, the order on the site is closed and is no longer displayed. You will not be able to write anywhere as before - all questions are answered by an online chat bot that drives the client in a circle, but apparently this is all that Chinese thieves need!
2nd case: After that, on January 23,2023, I paid 1203.67 rubles for a battery in another store, order No. 5101 9280 1687 8974, track number *******543, with delivery from Russia. But after my payment, on the second day, the seller's Chinese store disappeared from the Aliexpress website. I opened a dispute, the money was returned, but not all - the Chinese thieves from the Aliexpress website considered it enough to return me only 1,066.45 rubles, pocketing my almost 200 rubles.
Case 3: On January 31,2023, I paid 462.82 rubles for 4 replacement brushes for an electric toothbrush, order 5104 9899 1438 8974, track number LC*******CN. But the seller sent not four but six brushes, though not suitable for my electric brush. I opened a dispute, the Chinese wrote that he sent me brushes again, but a month passed, I never saw any money or brushes. The most important thing is that now you cannot write anywhere about this Chinese scam, there is no connection on the Aliexpress website for this. In addition, you will not be able to submit feedback about this scam to the Chinese on the scam sellers page. Bad information about Chinese thieves will not appear anyway.
