AliExpress Reviews Summary

The overall reputation of the company reflects significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to pervasive issues with order fulfillment, delayed deliveries, and inadequate customer service. Many customers report difficulties in receiving refunds and resolving disputes, often feeling ignored or misled by the company's support channels. Positive aspects, such as product variety and competitive pricing, are overshadowed by complaints regarding fraudulent sellers and the lack of buyer protection. This trend indicates a pressing need for the company to enhance its customer service protocols and ensure accountability among its sellers to rebuild trust with consumers.

First, I should preface this with saying that you need to be very careful when shopping on this site. The more attractive the price, the more likely you are going to be unhappy with the result.

This site is wonderful for people who are EXPERTS in shopping for things like flashlights and DIY electronics. You can get many great deals which will save you 75% off the prices you find at radio shack, sears, etc. The problem is when you try to shop for anything else. So many knock-offs and products that are listed as rich in features but end up being much less than what was promised. So I have learned to assume only about half of the information listed for a product is true/accurate. If you go shopping with this in mind, and only buy things you are an expert about, then I think you will be happy with the result.

This company has some nice products, but you're taking your chances on getting the right order and trying to return it. If you don't mind loosing the money, go for it. Their phones have been disconnected and they do not have any service after the purchase. I have tried emails, their contact information and every avenue to try and return my purchase for a refund, and it is like they fell off the face of the earth. About a year ago I ordered some bathroom faucets, they were beautiful. I ordered from them again, however this time they sent the wrong item and since they are no where to be found, I now have a $145 item I can't use and will not be able to regain my loss if I tried to resell it. Too bad, they had potential.

Follow up to a refund dispute: Well I finally got into email negotiations for a return. After over a week, I was first told I would be refunded and not to worry about returning the product, but after a sad story of them loosing their job to do this, I would have to return it. Well, without knowing what I was getting into by returning the product, it ended up costing me a lot of money for this lesson. I am sorry, but I will never do business with you again. A $145 product I couldn't use cost me $100 to return. For that kind of money, I could have gotten a quality product here in the states. It's an expensive lesson to learn.

For those who are wondering whether or not you should purchase from this website, keep in mind that all reviews like these are subject to selection bias; ie. Usually only very angry and disappointed customers would post reviews. Satisfied ones usually don't bother looking for such places to share their experience.

I'm a frequent shopper of aliexpress, i've spent over 2 grand over 5 moth just doing light reselling back here in New Zealand. You need to know who to buy from, truth is if you have a problem, and the seller is not cooperative, you won't get any decent help from the website- they'll make you wait forever and say some random irrelevant crap then never respond again.

All my experiences have been good except about 3; The seller was actually a good seller with 20+ good feedbacks for that particular item but the item i received was crap and she just played me around for a long time. I gave her a 1/5 star feedback for that item and it has dented her reputation and she's been apologizing ever since (as she is regarded as a 'top seller')

I have minor problems wiht defective goods with sellers, they usually give me a refund, some try to lure me into buying more in order to get replacements. However, as long as their feedback percentage is over 98% they're pretty determined on making you happy because your negative feedback on that one item will cause that item to be never sold again. (would you buy a product that's receive a 1/5 review for general crappiness?)

So bottom line, know who you are buying from- it's not too hard. Read the positive and negative reviews, esp the negative to know what it was that went wrong and how the dealer delt with it.
I recommend this website to anyone whose a smart shopper. It's really great and it's the best one for me for my business. But still, this isn't local supermarket where you have authorities to report to!

Aliexpress takes no responsibility of its vendors. They are free to do what they want to the unsuspecting public. Customer service is useless. The vendors hardly can communicate in English. And when they do, they will use the entire Britannica of the curse words in their reviews and comments. This is a legitimate website with illegitimate products promoted in it. Federal Trade Commission should be all over this website.

Don't buy from increasingshoes - the shoe models are often fake leather. There's some type of plastic leather wrap around the shoe that bubbles off the moment you walk in them. If you rub against anything, the fake leather wrap rips like paper - total garbage.

You'll spend over $100 per pair, and when it arrives you may as well throw them out. Increasingshoes is a psychotic company.

I returned an unsatisfied product and was guaranteed the refund by aliexpress. I'm still waiting for it after three months. Everytime they said it's process, should get it by the 10 Dec, still no refund. Stay away from this biggest thief. I wrote to them telling them I'm going to tell the worldwide web, that did not make any differrent.

I do have a great purchasing here! In October, I ordered 20pcs Krugerrand coins in Britney's store, however, the plastic capsule was broken in transit when arrived. I told the buyer about it, then within one week I got 20pcs new plastic capsule! Fast delivery and great service!

But before you order to find a good supplier is really important! To review the feedbacks from the store and see what other buyes how to say.

Scam
July 3, 2013

Scam. I ordered shoes and they never arrived. I got the same emails the previous commenters got. They charged me hundreds of dollars. Mysteriously, after they charged me for the shoes which I never got, new fraudulent charges started appearing on my credit card. This company is indeed a scam.

DO NOT BUY ELECTRONICS ON ALIEXPRESS!

I have purchased several items from the site and while the cost is low so is the quality. But the electronics are not worth the money, I have bought Beats headphones that had some flaws and certainly didn't sound as good as the real ones. But most recently i bought a 10 inch flytouch tablet; it was an inexpensive android that I thought my 9 year old daughter might like to use with the reading apps as well as games etc.

The tablet worked for a couple months then it gets stuck in the android screen and you can't get it out. The warranty from the seller "Jack Song", which must be chinese for rip off, was 1 year but he never responded to any of my emails. I also tried to contact the folks at AliExpress but they claim they can't do anything once the funds have been released. So if you do buy one don't release the funds until you have it for a year.

Don't be fooled by the lower prices - in this case you may not even get what you paid for.

I found 2 great sellers there out of 12 orders I placed. It took two months to get my money back. Stay far away. If you do, always use Paypal, no matter what they seller says. Paypal will always refund you of the seller is fake or gives you the run around. I lost alot of customers because of the site. They act like they ship when they don't and by the time you look around, the sellers have closed their stores. The customer service really doesn't exist. They email you but really doesn't help solve anything. The refund process takes about 30-60 days unless you use Paypal. Stick with Paypal payments only.

I have been buying Android devices (Cortex tablets & Dual SIM Phones) from Aliexpress for about 1 year now and never had any problems. The price ranged from $120-$220.

Even the tablets I bought 1 year ago are still working great. I am a local seller (Not selling online). All the customers are very happy with the tablets I sold them, All of them were from Aliexpress suppliers. And in fact I am getting 1Ghz or more Armv7 Cortex Android 2.3 Tablets that are even able to play H264 1080p online stream (Which my ipad can not) and external 3g support, MicroSD, HDMI, Capacitive screen for a cost of less than $200, I guess it is a great deal. I am using the devices myself, And some phones and tablets even fell a few times and still working great. The supplier is always providing me with new firmwares etc. I have ordered some model that came with Android 2.2 (And it was described as Android 2.2) then the supplier sent me 2.3 update which had some problems like it was not recognizing the internal storage, External 3G didn't worked etc. I have reported all the problems to the suppliers and few days after they sent me a new 2.3 firmware which got all the problems resolved and working extremely stable.
I have never had any problems with the suppliers from Aliexpress that I have dealed with hence never tried to get any refund, So not sure how good is their buyer protection, But there are a lot of good and reliable suppliers.

Love getting SCAMMED?

Love getting SCAMMED? Here is your site

I lost $100 + dollars buying on this site, there are still many sellers hiding behind the GOLD SELLER seal and they are SCAMS, so just to be sure, stay away, and now they even removed the Paypal feature so its even less safe. If you buy on aliexpress.com, you are at your own risk.

P. S: The Escrow feature is a joke, they will lie and tell you to wait and wait oh and wait some more, a refund from them is truly a miracle.

I would absolutely NEVER order anything through AliExpress again. Nearly 6 months ago I ordered a product, thinking that it was worth the risk since, after all AliExpress would hold the payment in their "escrow" account until I let them know that I was happy with the sale. The product arrived defective. The company wanted me to ship it back to China by DHL -- more than $100 to send back a $180 product. So, I said that was unreasonable, and filed a request for refund, and posted an photo of the product clearly showing the defect. I then waited through nearly 6 months. In the end, I got back $50, because AliExpress said that I had not provided sufficient evidence. What a joke. Do NOT think that AliExpress and its "escrow" service are any help at all. The company was selling junk, was absolutely not willing to work to solve the problem, and AliExpress was only interested in helping out the company, not actually providing protection for the buyer, as they claim. And, they seem to have gotten interest-free use of my money for 6 months. STAY AWAY.

If you are a custom to dealing with China, you know how things work and what to expect and what not to expect. I have read a lot of the reviews and I can only assume most really do not have any import export experience.

I actually buy a lot of things off the site and sell them on ebay and amazon.

If you buy 1 or 2 items at a time, then yes you will get banged out in price (with free shipping) or banged out in shipping costs.

And if you are so concerned with getting ripped off... Aliexpress offers a FREE protection service. USE IT!

This site is great for those who know what to expect when dealing with companies over seas.
