I have had nothing but a positive experience! The shipping takes a little longer but this is set out by the terms of the seller. You can also 'express' your items. The quality of what I have ordered has been spot on. I get my items for a fraction of the price in stores and saves me the hassel of shopping outside of my home. You can also message the vendor... I have no complaints. This site rocks!
Well like many others here if the deal sounds way to go it is. It's better too play it safe or look for a top rated vender and gamble and see what you get, also don't buy from saler jj Zhou they have too stores and never replay I send like 5 massages and a week later still no replay. I canceled my too ordered I had placed with them and they put they had refunded I looked at my bank account and they took my my money F&ckers well you live and we lurn the hard way also if they say they well give you promo coupons of 60-100 you now it's a scam jest be very smart about it and look for people that do reviews with detailed you know they aren't lying be safe guys.
The sellers are liars in sizing department. All clothing are for kids sizes (yes! Even the XXL) when Im a medium.
Their models and pictures must be of midgets if you believe you will fit in them.
The BUYER PROTECTION and CLAIMS are a joke and complete waste of time. The reason they take a max 60days is that PAYPAL only protects you for 45days.

The items are fake.the shipping is really slow! You can have a tracking number but the item can be send in a very second moment. And sellers are dishonest. The saddest thing is that they know their rules and can play on it to cheat buyers... at least ebay protect you from such nonsense.

Ok - I have brought in excess of 50 items of all sorts on Ali Express. I have had a few poor quality items and the odd mishap (like damaged items) but in general I have been able to buy a range of items I never could have afforded before. Many have been good standard, some exceptional for next to nothing.
In my experience, don't buy items of too high a value, expect a fake product, always query the claims made before buying. What composition is this item (it says real leather is it top cut leather etc etc), what are the measurements of this item, there is no sleeve length, can you give it to me please? Will I get a product exactly like the one in the picture? Etc etc. What does the feeback say? Has no one left feedback - are they all default ratings? Does the feedback have a genuine sounding comment attached? Not just "excellent". It does cost a lot to return poor items etc so buyer beware. There are some terrible traders on Ali Express and shipping time can be a nuisance but by and large there are many genuine traders and some very nice people on Ali Express. If you use Ali Express, take the time to do it right and you will come out the winner. Also don't be unrealistic, I have found many $3 to $8 bargains but if I get something for $4 that is rubbish, I realise this is the gamble I have taken and don't get too excited about it. 4.5 stars.
As an international business owner. I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT 99% OF THE BRAND NAME ITEMS ON ALIEXPRESS ARE COMPLETE COUNTERFEIT/FAKES! What's worse is there government does very little with enforcement and factory shut downs. It truly is a shame that they survive off the hard work of other companies and cheat buyers with CLAIMING the product is Authentic. Such a disappointment, to say the least. Buyers beware
I ordered four shoes as a deal for about $400. The shoes took over two months to arrive and all came direct from CHINA. They smelled awful from organic solvents and smelled up my whole apartment. When I tried to walk in them, my feet felt cramped and uncomfortable. When I tried to return them, I was hassled as they would not give me an RMA number. Plus, on order with free shipping, they subtract that from your order! Plus, when you return shoes from a "deal" they refund you less money than the deal was worth. This company is a scam. I would never order from them again!
Be warned. The merchant reviews are all faked and changed by the webmaster. I made a HUGE mistake and bought something from Bluetimes or Blue Times or whatever they call themselves now, and got a nonfunctional unit. Return cost half the cost of the unit, no sign of refund. Gave them a 1 star review. Noted that they retained their 5 star status and my review was changed to a 4 star by the webmaster. No response to my inquiries. Scam Central.
Stay away from this site. I ordered a product which i never got. I tried to contact seller with no response. I had to dispute the charge to get my money back.

You must always do your research before buying and browse around!
My experience with this site is positive! Because of the 4 main things I have typed above.
1. Know what your looking for. ( what item is it? What material? If you do not know ask! If it's to difficult because of the language barrier then go to another site.)
2. Know what to avoid. ( Look at ratings! For goodness sake! Comments and reviews. Are they selling too much types of items that kinda doesn't match e. G: Books, dolls then for some reason jewellery.)
3. Research! ( Is that item made of the real thing? Dose it look like the item in another website which shows the real thing? E. g: topaz on a gem website and compare it to the item your looking at, again ask the seller. Look at comments.
4. Browse around! ( Cheaper prices, the same item with a seller that has better ratings.)
If all fails then its just bad luck XD
I have ordered many many items on this website. I am going on a very expensive vacation to the virgin islands and didn't have much money to spend on bikinis, dresses, shoes, sunglasses etc. for the trip. I read all of the horrible reviews and then decided to try it for myself. I started out only buying one sundress for $5 so that if it never came or was bad quality i wouldn't be upset. The dress ended up coming faster than expected and I absolutely loved it. I ordered all of my vacation clothes and accessories from the site. Now i'm ready to go and didn't spend an arm and a leg at victoria secret on bikinis! Thank you Aliexpress for a great experience. Btw-- to all of you who blame it being on the fact that they are "Chinese" get a life u racist pieces of s*it. Oh and you must not be able to read because most, about 95%, of the items you use, wear, buy are MADE IN CHINA!
Using AliExpress is a REAL GAMBLE. Sure there are some honest sellers there. But AliExpress' "buyer protection"/"dispute/claim" process is a JOKE.
Everything is set up unfairly favoring dishonest sellers, sellers get longer to reply to disputes, they get longer to ship the item, long time to wait for its to arrive and the claim process is all about wasting buyer's time while holding on to your money unfairly. If you have a problem with something you purchase you only have 8 days to file a dispute or the option is completely removed.
Buying from AliExpress you are at risk of getting items that are:
- full of TOXIC CHEMICALS (COMPLETE WITH NAUSEATING SMELLS THAT CANNOT BE REMOVED).
- bait and switch scams, pretty photos in the listing but items that look like a forced child worker tried to make a copy of it. Bad stitching, falling apart, uneven, things you'd never buy if you saw it in a store first.
- wrong size, no matter how specific and accurate you are when ordering about the size you need some sellers have products that are incorrectly labeled and do not measure to check for accuracy.
- no item at all with fake tracking numbers that never update.
The list goes on but whatever the problem may be that is the seller's error/scam AliExpress will ask you to pay again for shipping the item back to the seller (more money out of your pocket) and then the seller can simply refuse the package and still keep your money. If they allow you to have a refund without paying more out of your pocket to fix the seller's mistakes they may only offer you a very tiny partial refund. So let me recap, you pay, you have the item shipped to you, the seller makes a mistake and you are asked to share your money or pay more to fix the problem.
The couple of dollars you might save using the site simply isn't worth the potential for loss, its better to stick with Trusted Sites like Ebay for any shopping with China.
I ordered 5 swimsuits from different sellers on 4/18/13. Its says my orders where shipped 2 days later. Today is 5/10/13. I only recieved 1 swimsuit, which came last week. The others are supposedly in transit. Ive read other reviews and now im going to the website now to read the sellers reviews... because there is no way i should have to wait this long... the swimsuit that i did get in the mail was very nice... but i have a vacation coming up next month, and I Hope the rest of my things come... i'm giving this website 2 more weeks and after that I want a refund, and i'll go to a regular store and buy my stuff... this is really riduclous... i've never waited this long in my life... the prices are great, but the wait time is just absurd!
I understand this website is for multiple sellers and I have only made one purchase from one seller. So there may be systemic problems overall, but I had to share my wonderful experience to counter balance some of the bad reviews. I coach my son's 8 year old soccer team and I purchased Chelsea uniforms for the whole team. It came with custom names and numbers. I read all the reviews here and took that into account before shipping off $150 US dollars. I was very nervous because of the negative reviews, but I figured, I could always do a charge back on my credit card. Well, I'm here to tell you, I didn't need to. The quality of the Jerseys is as good as you would get from any US sports store for 1/5th the price you would pay. The seller responded almost instantly on any questions I asked. I even had a kid drop off the team so I emailed the seller to ask him to not put a name on one of the Jerseys and just put the number. He responded immediately and the products were all exactly correct. I ordered at the end of April and received on May 11th. Total time was about 2 weeks. I absolutely can't wait to buy from him again. I'm thinking of getting them all the away kit as well.

The transaction date of my order was 03/12/2013. Got order confirmation same day and seller processed the order in 2 days. With seller promised Delivery Time: 15-26 Days, the item should arrive within 04/10/2013. With no Item received till 04/29/2013, and tracking# trail lost, emailed the seller. Only a dispute with my credit Card solved the PROBLEM.
Seller has Contractual Obligation with Aliexpress. Aliexpress has Contractual Obligation with the Credit Card Bank. Credit Card Bank has Contractual Obligations with consumer, based on Credit Card Consumer protection ACT.
If anything goes wrong and consumer stays inactive beyond 60 days, then everybody will be off the hook, and the Consumer WILL RUN OUT OF LUCK. While the seller will get the money, the Consumer will Get Nothing, or a Different Inferior Product, or a Fake Product.
My first purchase went wonderful. I received my product as promised. The second experience has been horrible! I tried to cancel the order to have the SUPPLIER deny my request! I also tried and opened a dispute on the supplier, still no results! I received an email for the second time that my order has been shipped. Today is 5/10/13, the first shipment email said 4/17/13. Stay away!
Untill now I have'nt succes to place an order at Alieexpress, when I will order, I always receive a message that it is not possible because of savety reasons, whatever that means. I have never ordered before, never got a e-mail back when I ask for more information.

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. I have ordered tother items thru Aliexpress without a problem but you should get rid of the bad ones. I am reluctant to use Aliexpress again after this bad experience.

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.

Answer: Do not buy from aliexpress the quality is terrible and lots of sellers never send the items. Also they sell counterfeit designs too which is illegal to purchase.
