Bought a travel bag from their site which cost over Euros 90. Had to pay duty on it coz it came from outside the EU and although I paid for express delivery the bag arrived several days after it was meant to. Add to this the fact that the said bag started literally falling apart after a week (wheels fell off). I wrote several times to complain and was completely ignored.
Product was bad quality and customer service non-existent. I would not buy from them again if they were the last remaining site on the net.
I placed an order with AliExpress in March 2015. Their site said delivery will take 5-15 Days to be delivered. I have contacted them by email several times. At first they would respond telling me to be patient. The order is out for delivery. The last response I received from them was on July 13th 2015. They stated they are not exactly sure on the arriving time, to please wait patiently. I asked for a refund on August 27th 2015 and they stopped responding to me. I never received the merchandise and to this day never received a refund.
I have been trying to put in a dispute. It is the most difficult procedure. It takes me to pages but does not allow me to submit a complaint. Contacting them is horrible!

I was excited when I saw I could buy Nike airmax 90s on this site for a fraction of the price... but I never expected I would be paying for packages I would never receive! Three pairs of shoes from two different sellers. I did my research and they both had good reviews, so I thought why not? The tracking was junk. The number wasn't valid. Then one day I get an email saying they were delivered. I was home and the supposed time of delivery and there wasn't one! Buyer protection? Worthless. I opened disputes and nothin came of them. The sellers don't answer my questions, and they just say "sorry but we shipped them". So I just had to cut my losses. I paid for nothing. Never buying from this site again.
I recently ordered something and then cancelled the order. After much email back and forth, I was told I would receive my refund in 24 hours. It has been 2 weeks, no refund and now I get no response to my emails.

Bought what was advertised as 100% cotton shirts. Turned out that they were a cotton/polyester mix. Complained to alibaba. Went through their process. Took photos of the label that shown the percentage of the mix. All the while the seller with the broken english was complaining that he had done nothing wrong - "dears". Alibaba made a decision. Because it was 80% cotton I was to be refunded 20% of the cost of one shirt. But I bought two shirts together. They had the same order number. I sent photos of two shirts - different colours. They didnt put two-and-two together. The western way is to get a full refund - not 20%. As it turns out I did not even get that money. So no refund - 'dears'! As thick as two short planks put together. They make a poodle look intelligent.
I have been ordering goods from ali express and the goods do not arrive when i escalated the dispute as per the ali express policy its a load of crap if you dont get your goods within the guarantee delivery period you are refunded thats bull$#*!. The request that you provide proof you dident get them what proof can you give them when they have no proof of delivery all goods are signed for but they have only presented this because i dident get them they only sent the falsified delivery pick up document and ali express relised the funds to the seller what a rip off i will no longer use aliexpress they are liers and cheats and there polisy is a lie and i am out of pocket money and time.
My experience with AliExpress was good for about a year - NOW over half of items i order are "sent" with FALSE tracking, or no tracking, and then I have to wait weeks for refunds of goods NEVER SHIPPED! Pretty fed up with this bull$#*!!
Shipping takes very long but to be expected since China's on the other side of the world.
Product quality can be pleasantly surprising to downright horrible. I bought some skinny pants that ripped on the first wear... at work! I was working as a busboy in the middle of Canadian winter with icicles hanging from my balls, all the while hoping my manager wasn't worrying about my mental sanity.
However that is by FAR the worst experience. I would say 85% of my purchases (Maybe about 25?) are 4 to 5 stars. I single out the pants because it's the exception (and they cost about $10 CDN soooo... go figure). I've gotten great shirts, t shirts, socks, boxers, etc. I also bought necklaces and earphones that were bad quality and broke within two weeks, but at 1 to 4 dollars a piece, worth the try right? And I kept the pendants from the necklaces, which is what I was mainly interested in anyways. Perhaps it's my own fault for buying 4 dollar earphones.
I've never had anything not delivered or even gotten the wrong item; nor have I ever found the product to be too far from the description.
To summarize, not everything is worth it, but at prices ranging from 10 to 50 % what they would cost retail here in Canada, it's worth the risk to get 8.5 items out of ten that are good quality.
I would say go by the reviews and make sure to review so that other people have a better idea. I do and will continue to make purchases there.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT order from this site! It's like a 20% chance your order will go through good. I ordered a overboard on Oct 21,2015 it came in on Nov 4,2015. Looked great at first but then the technical difficulties began. So I contacted the seller and they arranged for me to send the board off for repair. I sent it off on Nov 12,2015 and the repair company received it on Nov 17,2015. Since then, I have not heard from the seller. Aliexpress is horrible. They're not trying to help do anything about it. I don't even see anywhere on the site where I can contact Aliexpress, only the seller. Now the seller has deleted their page so basically I'm out of my $300+ I spent. Aliexpress does not care! They have it set up to where you can't even contact them! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to shop on Aliexpress! Choose Alibaba! Much better customer service and people who actually care about fulfilling customer needs!
I have only used this site once and it was to purchase a cheap phone case, one of the only reasons to really use this site. I had found a case featuring a favorite band of mine and places an order online on Jan 17th of this year. I got a tracking number but wasn't able to get any information from it, however I knew going in that it could take a couple weeks to get. I got in about 3 weeks later, I guess I got lucky since it was exactly what I ordered and in good condition. Make sure you check out seller ratings before purchasing!
I have ordered a lot of different items from aliexpress and have been really impressed by the quality and delivery of items. I have had a few crap items but have always got a full refund without any hassle. Fab site.

Buyers beware. Sellers are in China and you may not get what you ordered.
I purchased a sweater size China size 4XL = US size XXL. I received a China size M = US size XS. Filed a dispute on Ali Express and the seller claimed I ordered the wrong size even in the face of me sending a photo of the small size sweater and showing my original order request. The Ali Express Customer Service is not human; it is a robot response system. The seller agreed to refund my money but required I ship the sweater back to them in China at a shipping cost three times the refund amount I was attempting to obtain. I would have been out of the pocket over $30.00 and have no sweater to show for my grief. Stay away from Ali Express; they are too good to be true. To add I purchase a couple football jerseys and I discovered the embroider numbers are not sown on they are glued. The glue is now coming apart.

I ordered two camo suits from MG STAR CN online store which working on Aliexpress.com. I got one suit instead of two. Trying to get my order or my money I have been corresponding with this store about 5 months and finally didn't get nothing. I'm so upset.
I ordered 10 sweaters and paid $174.00 and received 5 sweaters and when I send note to shipper all I get is 3or4 long paragraphs of the advertisement for the sweaters and nothing about the missing sweaters It was my first order and would have made more orders but I would rather buy from a company that is more expensive but HONEST. I have another order made 1 day earlier only $14.95 1 item and have not received that order in over 50 days either

What a f*cking nightmare.
I tried to ordered a hockey jersey. The website was incredibly unclear. But I managed to find what I thought I wanted. I placed the order and, as the instructions noted, mentioned the name and jersey number in the comment on the order.
I was then contacted and told the jersey I wanted wasn't available, please pick something else.
So I said I didn't want something else and I'd just cancel my order.
I was then told I had to lie about the reason I cancelled my order (and say I changed my mind or something as opposed to saying Aliexpress didn't have the item I wanted) or they couldn't process my refund.
So I did what they said because I was tired of dealing with their $#*!ty customer service...
After cancelling my order, I received an email saying the order had shipped. Of course, the tracking info on the shipment didn't work...
So I asked the seller what had shipped? And why was it shipped after I cancelled? The seller responded by ignoring my questions and telling me to open a dispute if I wanted a refund.
It turns out you can't open a dispute until 10 days after the shipping date... So I waited and, again, asked what had shipped and why?
My questions were ignored.
Finally, the 10 days passed and I could open a dispute. Except the dispute process doesn't allow you to choose options that were in any way relevant to my situation. So I did the best I could and explained things in the comments... Now I'm awaiting a response.
I placed my order Nov. 5, it's now the 27th. I have no product, no refund, no idea what's going on and really no hope for a positive outcome.

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.
