The seller lied to me and sent the wrong item. I ordered 9kg item, he sent 4.5kg item instead. He asked me to send him 30 more dollars, so he can send the right item. Aliexpress asked me to return the item, seller pays return postage. Checked with Royal Mail, Parcel Force, UPS, Fedex it was more than the item cost. £62 item (same price for return postage). Tried to contact Aliexpress multiple times, you just cannot get in touch with them at all, their chatbot Eva is useless. Aliexpress is a scam website if you have a problem and want to return an item. They will not help you. In the terms and conditions it was said that if the return cost is higher than the item cost, contact Aliexpress for the solution, but it was impossible to contact them, chatbot never transfers you to the live agent. It works as a scam.
I bought a clothing item for my wife's birthday (from Gagaopt store) - 2 months ahead (because items often take weeks or months to get here from China).
Lo and behold, the quoted measurements for the item were WAY LESS (read inches) in length. Of course it wouldn't fit her.
Here's the kick in the guts follow-up - AliExpress only has a a 15 day return policy from delvery - so stuck with no recourse and can't leave feedback on their site either.

I ordered a few items and one package showed delivered but I didn't get it. Contacted the post office and was told my package was mis-delivered by the postman. Items were never recovered. Contacted AliExpress with documentation from the post office to get a refund. They denied my request 5 times. I sent them an email from USPS showing all information they requested except an official seal as my local post office told me they don't have a seal. An official email on USPS letterhead should be enough but not for AliExpress. I'm working with my bank to get a refund now and I'm done dealing with Ali. I've been a customer of them for several years and now I'm taking my business elsewhere. Customer service is not helpful at all.
I stupidly ordered a product from Ali express and they took my payment immediately but after 2 months went by and I didnt receive my purchase, I tried to contact the seller... Thats when I knew it was all a scam! 6 months later and still dont have a refund!

DO NOT SHOP AT ALIEXPRESS! You can't do a return or exchange because you have to ship items back to China which costs way more than the item you paid for. You have to get Customs receipts at the Post Office. An awful mess. They won't acknowledge to you about a return until a couple weeks later as if they are scare to tell you that the item have to go through customs. Deal with a copy that gives you return and exchange satisfaction and may even provide you with a return label.

I have found all other sellers on this site to be 5 stars. The product is often stage quality when it comes to clothing and be careful with sizing. Overall I've had some fantastic finds. Remember it's not one retailer but thousands.
I bought a swimming pool 280 Polaris skimmer bag but shipped me a totally wrong size and different clip size... Then I ask for return at next day but refuse to send me a right one and neither refund, Allie said nothing wrong, ok, I ask for return by dispute from PayPal, after that Paypal finally said ok to return but address in China. That's cost me $16 to send it back but my item is just $12. So frustrating and I call my credit card to dispute it. What a humbug experience... Don't buy anything from Allie anymore. It's a scam.

I have ordered numerous products from Aliexpress over a two year period and have never run into any problems at all. Everything has been delivered fairly quickly and everything has been as descibed. Each to their own, but my experience has been very good.
I ordered 2 swords for my grandson in October for Christmas, they never arrived. When I called for a refund they stated that the items were in customs in Chicago and it was my responsibility to retrieve them? I live in Tucson, Az. I lost $120.00. DO NOT USE THIS SITE FOR ANYTHING!

Every time when you receive an item they is defected you can open a case. And Aliexpress customer servive decides you need to return it and seller should pay return shipping. But the problem is that most sellers won't pay! And the last time it was simply ugly - seller did not answer and aliexpress customer service asked to send and after item arrived to send them post receipt and they will manage. Item was returned and received by seller, I sent post office receipt and even package picture but in several days they sent me email that my proof was not enough and protection time was over and just closed the case. Liars and robbers everyone there. Try to order from another platform if you care for your money

Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store.
