The items aren't the cheapest but the free shipping is really attractive. You'll be good if the item is working but if it's faulty then you need to prepare to spend time and money for refund - delivery fee back to seller; time and effort to take photos and videos of proofs.
The worst kind of seller I encountered are those that drag and drag and in the end still nothing! And the worst of the worst, AliExpress might side with the seller and you get nothing but a bad taste in your mouth and a faulty item.

HE FINALLY DELAYED PAST THE 30 DAY LIMIT FOR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. HE FINALL SAID SHIP ITEMS BACK AND GAVE ME AN ADRESS. WELL SHIPPING COSTS TO CHINA WAS FAR MORE THAN VALUE OF ITEMS!

I tried to order an inexpensive item, under $10. My credit cards were either rejected or the little circle kept spinning for hours. Finally accepted Amex, but then asked for special codes and then "processing" for several days. No response to messages. Finally got an e-mail saying I should cancel due to QC problems. Then I realized that they had account numbers and "secret" codes for 6 of my credit cards. I am usually more careful and aware. Never again.
Ordered a wooden watch from there, shipping took more than 6 weeks!

Aliexpress used to be a place to get products at a cheaper price. HOWEVER today there is mostly junk that is of low quality or just doesn't work at all and thus is a waist of your money. The products can't be sold or given away, they can only be throw away into the garbage. Disputed item as the camera just would not focus no matter what setting you set it at or what lighting you used. The seller got his money and aliexpress kept asking for pictures and video of the quality of the item. I uploaded 2 videos and some pictures showing the issue with the camera but aliexpress kept sending me emails saying they wanted some video evidence, which I had already sent. They let the dispute time out while the seller just kept saying to try this or that which just didn't work. Be very careful buying from aliexpress as the cost of returning an item is always very expensive to ship back to china and the seller will not pay for the return costs. Aliexpress doesn't seem to give a crap either.
I ordered bulk cover buttons. They did arrive, BUT were recycled, filthy, covered in oil and extremely poor quality. I contacted customer service... which was a nightmare... after several days back and forth they tell me I can return the merchandise if I pay the shipping which would have been over $20. The shipping back to China from the US is ridiculous! Why do I need to fork out even more money that i may never see? This product was total junk. Customer service is horrible I advise to stay away!
Ordered my 3d printer and was promised 7-15 days. Aliexpress promises to 'have your back' should you not receive it in time or it's not as described WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH. I am currently reclaiming my money through Paypal as their support is NON EXISTANT.

I bought $9 of defective electronics and have descended into a nightmarish vortex of escalating disputes. AliExpress have sided with the vendor, insisting I post more and more elaborate video evidence that the goods - which plain do no work - are faulty. For NINE DOLLARS, they think I would lie about this. It's idiotic and despite some good buying experiences in the past, there is no way I will go near AliExpress again.
This website is trash. I ordered over 200 dollars from this seller and some of the items were out of stock. Seller refused to refund me saying that it was "too much work wouldn't I take store credit instead?" Why would I want to buy again from a company that won't refund me my money when they screwed up their inventory? This is ridiculous. Looks like I will have to call my bank and refuse the payment there.

1. You said the dress was signed for - there is no signature
2. You said the dress was placed in mail box, the box is sized for paper mail not boxes or packages
3. You said the item was to have arrived - it has not
4. You said it was signed for, I am not home during the day during delivery time, I could not sign for dress
5. Live in over 100 resident apartment - if left at door it was not recieved
The dress was for a special occasion, it is not here. We have written four times and you refuse to refund my money. This a very bad business practice and unprofessional

I had an issue with a false material claim on a product from Ali Express (refer my previous review). I complained, they closed my account.
At the time, I had other goods which had been paid for, but not sent. I emailed the supplier of the goods. They agree to "refund the money". I emailed Ali Express team, with a copy of the supplier response. I have not heard back from AliExpress. It has been months now.
I followed the steps from their website to try and recover my account, again no response from Ali Express. Fortunately for me, the sum was small. I can imagine that others with closed accounts are hundreds of dollars out of pocket because of this.
DO NOT buy from Ali Express. They DO NOT give customer protection. They only close your account if you complain. The consumer laws in my country (New Zealand) does not apply to them unfortunately.
There is no way to contact them. Their contact site does not work. They have double shipped my order because I can not stop them or contact them. No way to get return information either.
Never buy from this company I never received my order contacted them and never received my money back. Rip off company
I submitted an order last night and woke up this morning to phone calls from my bank about fraudulent activity! Overnight, someone used my card information that I gave this website at two different stores. Be careful if you order from here, your credit card information will not be safe.
I am somewhat amazed at the amount of negative experiences written down here. To provide some balance, I can prove that I have succesfully purchased over 50 products... only 1 went wrong - yet that could also be attributed to my countries customs.
I have included a screenshot of some random purchases I did last year.
Many product description are misleading
Like and temperature sensor + case. Of course with a picture of the sensor and the case. When ordered after weeks you get only the case.
Start a dsipute but seller said i only ordered the case.
In the end verdict Aliepress agreed with the seller. Case closed no explanation why they aggreed with the seller only a vague kind of sorry but we reject your dispute. The buyer protection is fake.

They say you can get refunds, but in practical reality, that promise is as worthless as having life insurance in a bankrupt company.
I bought a video game system for $20 US. I was really excited as it was a portable gaming system with more than 300 games. When it came though nothing would happen. I uploaded a video proving it was faulty and the seller said no refund just recharge it and everything will work ok it has been tested.
I replied back saying I had already charged the system and it won't work. I was then told ok we'll give you your money back. When I went to the post office I found out that to get it with tracking which was a condition to the refund, it would cost $30 US to do so, more than the total cost. Aliexpress has also said it must arrive within a certain time frame.
So I asked the post office about the cheaper rate, it would take longer to get there and no tracking. The post office assured me that by having a copy of the receipt and a copy of my customs declaration, surely I should get a refund. So I did, explained this to the seller, scanned a copy of the documents and even though it is sent no refund.
Also on Aliexpress' site to get your refund you must give them a tracking number. I am however glad I did send it back. This way I know for sure their refund policies are worthless, so I won't bother with them next time. I can say I did send it back with no refund.
Also I've bought the same video game system from someone else. It was also faulty. So this explains everything, those who sell faulty items know that if they sell it at a low enough price, people won't bother to return it.
I love Aliexpress. There are many products to choose from and they are cheap and shipment is fast.
I've gotten an item that was sent wrongly and they arranged for a re delivery quickly. I have no problem with them.
I placed a large order the products were not as described the sizes were much smaller than stated. I returned the products to them but they refused to give me a refund, closed my dispute and then deactivated my account. Do not purchase items from this company, there is no satisfaction guaranteed!
I have done over 6 orders so far. Pro's -- Pricing and ease. Con's -- Shipping time and customer service. All but one went smoothly. For that one, seller was non responsive and aliexpress customer service didn't care. And forget getting anyone that can speak or write in english.
Answer: No customer service. Some sellers are dishonest. No way to recoup your money for items never sent. Bogus tracking information since no custom number unavailable. Sellers asking for your your PayPal account to make a refund when they are suppose tp use Alipay. Clean up dishonest sellers like co-co fashion store. I have ordered tother items thru Aliexpress without a problem but you should get rid of the bad ones. I am reluctant to use Aliexpress again after this bad experience.

Answer: I purchased 3 pair of van's brand shoes via different companies on aliexppress and all were true to size. The off brands are not, so you need larger than you wear. But, ask and ali will usually provide a size comparison chart for you to use.

Answer: Do not buy from aliexpress the quality is terrible and lots of sellers never send the items. Also they sell counterfeit designs too which is illegal to purchase.
