Very easy and straight forward website, shopping cart and check out process

I'm starting to get frustrated with sellers posting that something is hardcover when it's not. I need hardcover for a specific reason so I have to go through and return, it's frustrating.

It was only place i could find a reasonable price for this book

It was great. The only drawback was that when I clicked the cart optimizer, it put me below my coupon threshold. Then had to backtrack to re-get the coupon code in there.

Affordable books that you can find in a great condition to use for coursework, especially for literature, history, and language students

The book arrived seriously damaged - the hard cover is severely torn in multiple places, all corners of the book are bent, and the pages are partially detached from the hardcover. While it was displayed that the book had seen some use in the past, its condition is nowhere close the expected "Good" the book was marked with on the website when I ordered it. It is highly likely that the book was damaged in transit - the package was not wrapped in any kind of protective material and was simply put in a relatively thin standard plastic postal bag. This kind of wrapping is clearly inadequate, especially given that the order is trans-national.
I experienced delivery troubles that were caused by local postal service, and the customer service specialists treated the issue very responsibly and timely.

I can always find items on Alibis for a good price in the quality that I choose.

Just a few days after placing my order Alibris was promptly taken offline due to a security threat. Despite the delay in getting the site online I was able to receive by book within a reasonable time. I am highly satisfied with Alibris services. I will be sure to order from them next time.

I compare prices at several online used bookshops when looking for specific titles and generally look for the best price including shipping costs. This time Alibris got me the best price.

Tracking the parcel out of the USA was a problem but they did arrive just in time for the start of the academic year

Very disappointing that I was unable to pay in Australian dollars when it was advertised in Australian dollars but I was then forced to pay in US dollars so I will be forced to pay a huge transaction fee with the bank. Not happy that I was FORCED to buy it with US DOLLARS when you advertised it in. AU$ and I was FORCED to agree that my feedback would be published or I could not buy the book! What happens to Freedom?

I love using Alibris because it's so easy to purchase the books. I want as soon as I realize I want them!
