I am generally pleased with Alibris historically, but in this this case I was a little disappointed that the heavy and bulky hardcover photo book I had ordered was not packaged adequately in a box with padding, and as a result arrived bumped at the edges and corners.

Received the product at the scheduled time, and the status of the book was as the web said.

Your price changed from 7.31 to 8.08 to 8.12 since I added to my cart & I had to keep putting my card code several times because it wasn't able to process! I wouldn't want to purchase if I had a choice!

I followed instructions to receive "consolidated shipping". I carefully selected 3 sellers and purchased 9 books, but am being charged FULL shipping on each!

No explanation of "May be eligible for free shipping".How? How does one know whether or not this is so? I'd also like more information on condition of a particular item: "may be this", or"'may(or may not)have this or that" isn't particularly helpful...

I'm delighted to have this book "The Doheny Mansion." It provides even more information than I expected about the Doheny's and their houses. The book is a paperback and was shipped in a bubble package. That wasn't enough to prevent the book from getting bent at one corner in shipping. I've been putting heavy books on it to flatten it out, but it would be better to ship a book like this (large and paperback) in a stiff carton that will protect it better.

Ordered text books for my intro to psychology and intro disabilities studies course. Textbooks came quickly under expedited shipping. Condition of book was superb, I ordered used but they looked brand new.
