Expedite delivery, easy to find and pay for the book I needed

No tracking number given so no way to track your package. I waited over a month to receive my order when FAQs say max 14 days. No customer Service agent to talk to so email only was frustrating. Only told to wait some more…when I did get a response.
Product I received was in better condition than I thought so that was a welcomed surprise. The price was still exorbitant in my opinion.

Efficient. Easy to find what I was looking for, easy to order, given my saved account settings, easy to use PayPal.

First I ordered all my books from 2 HPB locations thinking they'd pack them all up at those TWO locations because it would save on shipping and I'd get my books faster. WRONG. My books came from half dozen or more different locations all over the midwest, from IL to TX to OH. All my books were ordered from 2 HPB locations in TX. I paid as much in shipping as I did for the books because of this. $4.74 book, $5+ for shipping that ONE book. Wasteful! And you ship in plastic sleeve mailers which are horrible for the environment compared to a cardboard box.

Then there's the VERY loosely use term "Very Good". One book's cover and first few pages had clearly been chew on by a pet/small animal, I'm guessing cat since I have had them before and this has happened to me, but the book arrived like this. Another book has a horribly bent up cover on both corners that also affects several of the first pages. That's compared to other "Very Good" books that arrived pristine and had e wondering if they'd ever been cracked open.

Won't be using this service again. Too expensive and unpredictable results.

It is easy to find the books I want and to make a choice between vendors. The books I have ordered have always exceeded my expectations for a used book. Alibris is a great resource!

This site has a great search and it's easy to find books and order quickly.

Great customer service. Issues with the seller and tracking item. Item came almost a week past the expected date. Item did change price and did become more expensive but is cheaper than most sellers

Occasional confusion about shipping/billing addresses. Hopeful I am not double billed for this order as I should be billed for $9.84 only 1x for 1 book ordered on Dec 26, received and paid in full. My PayPal account indicates 2 billings of $9.84 each and payment of one time $9.84. This bill has been paid in full.

Ordered a book and it arrived in about 10 days. Not bad, consiering it was around Christmas.

The display your web site shows on the Mac screen has become garbled.
