I placed an order for three books. Two were delivered and the third was the wrong volume. I placed another order for the third book, but this time it was sent to an old address. Now I am placing a third order for this particular book, and maybe it will will come and maybe it will be the correct volume. Book in question: Adventures of the Mind, THIRD SERIES.
This was an order for three books. Two arrived as ordered. The third was a set of essays called Adventures of the Mind. There are three volumes, First Series, Second Series, and Third Series. I already had First and Second Series. I wanted the Third Series. I ordered twice from ABE Books and once from Alibris. Twice I was sent First Series, and once Second Series. I have placed a fourth order (7485293) and am waiting for its arrival.
Had to change the address on my order after i placed it, and the Alibiris team was responsive- got my order at the right address promptly!
I like Alibiris because it has the used books I'd spend hours trying to find at brick & mortar stores, quick and easy to find. The only downside is that you never know wwhat edition of the book you ordered you're going to get 'til you open your package. Usually turns out fine, but if you're a judging a book by it's cover type like me it can lead to some disappointment
