I keep coming back to Alibris, especially for older, out-of-print books that I either can't find elsewhere, or are available elsewhere only at an exorbitant price. Some exceptional, rare books are of course going to be expensive, but Alibris nearly always has many sources offering the same titles, so the buyer has more choice of price points.
