An excellent source for first editions and other hard to find titles
It was my first time to shop alibris and I found it very confusing. I saw the book shipped out of Ohio rather than NV. I put it in the cart and was told there was nothing in the cart when I went to pay. I returned to try again and the book was not to be found anywhere. The only one available was the slightly higher priced one shipped out of NV. I do not understand this and is generally why I never shop on-line. Otherwise I found the experience a good one. I was able to order the book at the same price as the retail stores and the shipping is reasonably priced. The book has been difficult for me to find which is why I ended up on line.
I selected several items and put them in my cart, but when I went to sign in to my account, there was a glitch (needing to reset password) that caused my cart to empty. But when I went to put the items back in, they were shown as taken. So, the system hid my first cart somewhere and didn't let me access it, and I had to wait 24 hours for the items to go back into the general supply before I could purchase them again. Super annoying.
Alibris website is an efficient way to purchase multiple books.
Not sure if it was Paypal or this site, but tried to use Paypal and it didn't go through said to enable cookies which I had checked, cookies was on. So when I tried again using my card directly it went through no problem, hope there is not a double charge.
So far so good. I didn't have any problems finding or purchasing what I wanted.
I like easy, no passwords, clear path to the product I wish to purchase.

You must work on a solution to consolidate the shipping costs! There is no incentive to buy more if the cost of shipping exceeds the cost of the products by 1 ½.
Or run a sale where the shipping costs are consolidated. Something, but this is getting old.
