The site wouldn't update my shipping charge from an international fee when I asked for delivery to a domestic address. When I logged out and logged back in so I could get the correct shipping charge, the price of the book I wanted had doubled.
The website is adequate for finding books. I'll soon discover whether my email address becomes a magnet for spam or if alibris just needed it to send me a receipt and tracking number.
I was able to find the cheapest option for the textbook I needed, and the site was super easy to navigate!

I searched for the books on my children's book list for school and placed them in the cart. But when I signed in, my cart emptied. I tried backing up in my screens and could see my items, but as soon as I was logged in, my cart emptied. I had to search again, and found some books I had chosen were already unavailable. I do like the book selection and I greatly appreciate easily seeing the ISBN for each book as I view it. My check-out experience today was sub-par though.
Alibris has a good selection of Manga and relatively quick shipping times.
